Me and my husband came looking for a new coffee spot and found, so happy we decided to try something different 😁 First off, the whole place is a VIBE!! The staff was very helpful in helping us with food and coffee selection. I got the Honey Vanilla latte and the husband got the white chocolate latte, we both got their breakfast sandwich and we loved it, very delicious 🤤 and although they we were very busy, the wait for the food was only a couple of minutes. We loved it so much that we came back with the kids and this time we got loaded fries with our coffees. Again the staff was very helpful and friendly. We found our new fave weekend spot ❤

Was looking for a coffee shop other than Starbucks, and boy didnt find one! The staff was so friendly, the coffee was on point and reasonably priced. Very spacious interior with plenty of seating and a nice patio section outside. Awesome variety of music videos playing on the large screen on the wall. Only downfall was that I was there too early to try one of the many enticing breakfast options, though they did have a large selection of other items that are available anytime. Is my name Arnold Schwarzenegger? Cuz Ill be back!

4 stars strictly for the coffee. The food is average. I had the Rose Cardamom Latte with Oat Milk substitute - a specialty latte and the Sausage breakfast burrito. Ive had about 6 of their food items and although they give you plenty of food, it is usually over salted/season or too gummy.Their coffee, however, is really good. Ive had variations of their coffees and each is unique. Id personally recommend more their Iced drinks versus the hot drinks. Because of their mixes, the Iced versions tend to be a better choice taste wise. The hot versions will leave you with a prolonged after taste.Overall, a nice place to grab a quick bite or in the evenings, grab a drink with your friends and family !

Very cool spot to grab a coffee/alcoholic beverage and chill! I had the Rocky Road Latte and it was delicious! I will be back to try their food and bar. Nice big screen playing music. First time visiting. Good lattes. Tried the loaded fries, which were surprisingly tasty. Huge space too, with plenty of natural light. I like that Rival offers a quieter section off to the side; in the main dining area, music is played relatively loudly. Will return.

Id like to give this place another chance at some point. We went in a few mins before they closed, and they didnt seem too thrilled that we had. Still our iced Chai Latte and cheese Danish tasted great and the ambience was inviting and original. Ill make a point to try this place again next time Im in the area.

The best coffee/brunch establishment south of LA! Extremely inviting atmosphere and environment. The barista during my visit, Mattie, was extremely welcoming and made my whole family feel at home.The coffee tasted good; but, surprisingly, the food was definitely the hit for the wife and kids. Huge cudos to the entire staff, we will be returning soon!

My first time visiting Rival Coffee was pretty good! The menu items were tasty and they were made really quick. It was a little bit crowded but I guess thats normal for the weekend. Also, I wasnt sure if the Sips&Eats was another section or a separate restaurant? I sat on that side but left after a few minutes because I saw other people being served like a restaurant. It was a little confusing.Overall, this is a great cafe to chill, study, and drink a nice beverage ☕

This place is so beautiful! An amazing place for anybody who is working remotely or need to get some school work done. There food menu looks promising and amazing customer service. I got the hana bananas latte 😋 yummie!

Drive thru feature is my favorite 👍🏼 workers are friendly and their customer service is great. Delicious lattes but since they still use straws I grab my cup hand down from the top lid and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I’ve had coffee drip onto my clothes from the edges of the bottom of the lid. It can be extremely frustrating you just want to drink a great latte not get it all over yourself and look like a slob in your car.The food is great too just a little pricey as the items are “gourmet” I was surprised at how delicious the baked oatmeal bar was and have even craved for it since! Would give a 5 star if it wasn’t for the leaking lid tops

I want to like this place. I really do. But I’ve now gotten coffee on three different occasions, with three different brews, and all were just not good. The place is nice enough and the staff is friendly, but I just can’t go back anymore. Maybe it’s just bad luck, but dear lord the last drink I got was terrible. I’m a coffee fiend, and I had to throw it away. What can you do. I want to love my local place, but I guess I’m forced to go to fast food coffee for subpar coffee, because at least it’s consistent. Unfortunate.

Visited Rival Coffee for the first time a few days ago and I was very impressed by the decor and the open layout of this coffee bar. The choice of coffee and its many options left me with asking the young lady for her opinion, and she was right, I did get a vanilla latte and was excellent. The many sitting areas and outdoor choices allow for a relaxed moment to enjoy life and enjoy a delicious drink. I will be visiting today and planning to learn more about their food menu and trying something new. Very friendly and the guests appeared to be cool, calm and happy. 6 stars out of five...

I usually get their beans and they’re very good. I tried all the lattes and haven’t been a fan. Their regular coffee is delicious though and staff is always super friendly, quick and helpful.

Met up with a friend for coffee and breakfast. I was delighted by the coffee and avocado gluten free toast. The atmosphere is beautiful and open. But I my heart broke when they gave us everything in large plastic containers even though we dined in. Also, no Recycle bun, well that I was able to tell. Rival please fix this soon since it’s the way of the future. I might not come back if that doesn’t change.

I think this is one of the most trendy places I’ve ever been to. As a college student, that’s definitely saying something. I wish I would have tried their Rose Cardamom, but their lavender latte was amazing so I’m happy!

Amazing!!! We have been here several times and it doesnt disappoint at all. The breakfast pasta is sooooo good! I also recommend the hibiscus hype tea cold of course! Their coffee is also really good. You really cant go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is also top notch! And they are a small business!!!

My wife took me there. She said the breakfast was really good. It was just okay for me. I ordered the egg and sausage burrito. Didnt have a lot of flavor. Didnt like the chipotle sauce. Eggs were too smushy. My wife ordered the breakfast bowl. Her food looked better and tasted better. Not sure if I would go back...

We went there 2 days Im a row starting on opening day and their food and service were great. If I ever travel back this way Id definitely stop by here again. Portions are LARGE, and all the drinks that had Popsicles in them were absolutely amazing both flavor wise and as eye candy.

The Avo toast and Rocky Road Latte were amazing! I love a place that includes those of us who have dietary restrictions! My food and drink were dairy free and still amazingly delicious! Ill be back!

Yum! I dont remember the name of my fancy coffee, but it had peanut butter and marshmallow in it. Something monkey and it was delicious. Their serving of baked oatmeal was huge, and I ate it throughout the day for breakfast, 2nd breakfast, snack, lunch, and 2nd lunch!! Highly recommended!!

Good items are basic and bland, Coffee items are good but they need to variety - I’m not not talking Starbucks variety but some of the items seem redundant, also I got a Hype Berry Lemonade - it was good but not memorable - it was tart - it was overall not a bad place and tied to be more trendy for my taste,

Just had a great experience at Rival Coffee! Not only is the atmosphere fresh and modern, the food delicious, and the coffee tasty...the customer service is exemplary! After making a mistake on our order and overcharging my parents, the owner Christina rectified the situation with class, sincerity, and friendliness. She showed us what pride of ownership in a small business looks like, and proved that she cares about her customers experiences. Cant wait to come back again!

A friend got a small special coffee drink with almond and payed $7.40.I like a coffee shop to be affordable, so I can go daily to get some work done.Unless they bring down their prices I wont step foot inside. Its NOT Worth it.I would give a 1 star, but I think they deserve 2 because the place looks pretty nice on the inside.

Fries were pretty good. Other items not so good.... The bread in the sandwich was stale. They forgot a brownie I ordered. Pina colada tea was very watered down. That was disgusting... I do not recommend that.

Newer place and very up beat and trendy! Owner is there and his son, really awesome people. Behind Mesa high-school by Holiday Inn Hotel by Target on Cal Oaks. Has a good breakfast menu and a bar as well. Good music and some screens with music videos playing. Great atmosphere and great service! Hope this place gets up and going like it deserves!

I have had pretty good food and coffee here and the staff is extraordinarily friendly! Murrieta needed a large coffee house to meet, work and relax, and this fits the ticket.The complaint I have, and the reason I am turned off, is that the music video screen, which is a full wall’s size, was playing inappropriate music videos the full two hours I was there. I had driven through twice, but after dining in, I was not a happy customer. It is distasteful see women in bikinis, dancing provocatively at mid-morning in a coffee shop. People might want to have a casual business meeting or Bible study; maybe a girl wants a guy to take her on a coffee (not a club) date and have him look at her, not distracted by the images in the background. I have three boys, and I’m careful about what I expose them to. It’s disheartening to me that we can’t have any distinction between adult places of entertainment and a coffee shop. Whether they serve alcohol or not, a coffee shop in the daytime should be a place anyone can drop into and not be confronted with videos that are just in poor taste.Also, a changing table in the bathroom would be really helpful for guests with babies, like me and my friend who brought our infant daughters for a mom date.Thanks for considering a would-be customer’s hopefully helpful constructive criticism .

I ordered cappuccino with oat milk. Oat milk ran me an extra dollar. It was very surprising how expensive milk substitution is. Very often even the Bay area coffee shops charge only $0.50 to $0.70 extra.My cappuccino was just okay. Oat milk was foamed very heavily, with approximately 1/3 of the drink being foam. It tasted a bit sour for whatever reason. Not sure what brand theyre using, but Ive had better ones.The overall atmosphere is quite good. They are open inside during the pandemic, the outdoor area is also available. Overall, I might give a shot having another, different drink there, but it certainly would not be my first choice.

I went through the drive thru on a early Sunday morning and it was quick. It didnt take more then a minute to order and be on my way.But then again, I was the only one in the drive thru. Lol.

This was my first time here and ordered a Matcha Latte. I was looking for a coffee shop nearest me that wasnt a star bucks, as I like to support other local joints. I love Matcha so I decided to try theirs. Im sorry to say but it was awful. I couldnt even drink it. Its seems that the quality of matcha they have must be really low due to the brownish green color of the Latte and the burnt flavor, rather than a lovely light mint green color with a slightly sweet grassy taste.I would still go back and try their London Fog and maybe some food, but definitely stay away from the Matcha Latte.The customer service was great though and Im sure the coffees are much better as it is a coffee shop after all.

Food avacado toast,and honey coffee is delicious. I have been here twice. The only concern I have is that today I wanted to go in and order. 5 girls walked in with no masks. 2 girls came out with no mask. I got back in my car and went through the drive through. I like to support small businesses.
