I am on my daughter service there and I was late paying having trouble with machine which would have been faster just to give a payment person to person. Young gentleman rep help me and took junk off my phone and we still made a payment in the machine.

Went in to suspend my partners service as he is deployed. Staff super unhelpful and aloof when asked for help. We also went in months ago before he left to set it all up so that I could just suspend it when he was ready. Showed up and was told to just call customer service. Which is what I had done but I can’t be connected to an actual person just a robot that won’t help. Went back with a copy of his orders hoping that would do it. Only to be told they were skirting the subject when I was in an hour earlier because they aren’t authorized to suspend service for military. THEY LITERALLY COULD HAVE JUST TOLD ME THAT WHEN I FIRST CAME. Left feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. This should be easier to do while my partner is literally risking his life for this country and left all his family and friends for a year. This is how they treat vets?!

I would give the staff a high rating for friendliness, but that doesn’t make up for the multiple errors on my purchase. In one purchase of two phones I have had to make one trip back to the store and now made 6 different calls to Verizon to get everything but one squared away. I have tried twice to use device dollars when I purchased a phone here and both times they forgot to apply them. After the transaction is complete and I notice they weren’t used and I alert them ‘there’s nothing we can do’. I’ll likely stay with Verizon, but definitely won’t be using this store again

Waist of time with a touch of frostbite. Had to wait outside in -13 windshield, finally said screw it and went in just to be told we had to go back to our vehicle and wait until we received a text. Finally got in and they had nothing in stock. Told to go online or drive to Davenport. Again!!! The last 2 phone we had to order online because a lack of inventory. What is the point of having a store in town anymore!!!!

I left because they were only serving one customer at a time even though everyone had on masks and it was a relatively large store. It is 90 degrees and you had to wait outside. The purpose of the masks are to allow people to be closer than 6 ft. They should be able to accommodate their customers wearing masks. They dont answer their phones without a 40 minute wait on hold. If this is the way they conduct business I recommend going somewhere else!

Switched carriers to Verizon a few months ago and had a terrible experience. It took forever to get waited on and while the assistant who helped seemed knowledgeable, she couldnt get the phone switched. Then I found out she had signed me up for a more expensive plan in spite of the fact I clearly told her exactly which plan I wanted. She finally told me she got my account switched and the phone was active. I got home to find out the phone didnt work and neither did my other one! So back to the store. I walked in, 2 employees were standing leaning on the counter. One said hi but didnt offer to help. I went over to the counter and before I could say anything, both walked away. I stood there for 15 minutes and finally went over to somebody who was assisting another customer and asked if there was somebody who could help me. She got somebody who ultimately couldnt help and I had to wait around to get the original employee. Finally, after a good hour, I had a working phone. I was supposed to receive a $200 credit card for switching carriers. I didnt get it and finally contacted Verizon today and he told me that the rebate form was never sent in. I was never given one and simply told I would receive it in 3-4 months. Nothing was ever said about a form. Not a happy camper!

Im not convinced the staff has any idea what they are talking about. They seemed hurried and unable to take the time we needed to have some things explained to us. We have been with Verizon for over ten years and I have yet to be impressed with the staff.

Walked in the door or should I say doorway, was greeted and started to discuss our visit right then and there with the rep, less than ideal. Briefed the rep on the issue, but was informed very quickly that we had to have the account owner physically in the store to even discuss options of what was wrong with the phone. With technology advancement and just making a phone call should handle this issue. So now the Verizon user is without a phone that can call or text for yet another day. I would expect better options and viable solutions from Verizon.

I have always enjoyed going to our Verizon store. That being said, I dont like the fact that they no longer set up our phones. The number of people that work there is staggering. If they dont have time to do a set up on a phone, they would spend a lot of time with their thumbs stuck in their ass.

Just got the iPhone 7 in the mail. When I brought it into the store the lady that helped us was more focused on getting the line to move faster than actually helping us. She turned on the phone and said you can do this from here. We asked her how to do it, she simply replied, plug it into a computer. She made it seem so simple so we just said, ok. Then we asked for screen protectors. She brought us a box and put them on for us. The protectors she got were iPhone 6 screen protectors. My new phone now has air bubbles all over it and more than half of the front speaker is now covered. I am extremely disappointed with the service we were provided. Hopefully this lady gets better at her job or gets fired.

Very high priced and there are employees standing around watching and listening to you talk with another employee. Very pushy uncomfortable atmosphere. The person that helped me was nice but had to work over another employee who was on his own phone texting at the counter. I will order on line next time.

Refused to help us transfer our info to our new phones. Told us we had to download an app and do it ourselves. The app then ate up all of our data until we were over. Funny thing is we got a text after we were done using the app saying we had 7 % of our data left, then were sent a message saying we were charged for overages. Customer service was terrible, even when a manager was advised of the situation. They told us they cant help us, we need to contact their 800 number. If there were any other provider that serviced our area, we would be switching.

This stores has people, who obviously know more about the phone service than you do, so they use that to scam you basically. The woman I spoke to was very rude and treated me like I was dumb. They partner with Asurion to provide insurance for their customers, yet they claim that they are completely separate from them. If Verizon recommends, and in some cases requires, the insurance plan with their service, then they are therefore associated. When we were having insurance issues (that Verizon sold us) they told us that it was not their problem because it is a separate company. The only good thing I can say about the Verizon store in Muscatine is that the manager ended up calling Asurion and had them look into it. If you are looking for an affordable cell phone service with good customer service....you are NOT going to get it at Verizon in Muscatine. Switching as soon as my contract is up!
