Good deals but messy and dark... the store could definitely use some remodeling to bring in a brighter appearance with the lack of windows and short winter days....

I went in there looking for some Anaconda steak in a can but they were out. The cashier said there should be some coming in on the truck. I wasnt real happy about that. But kudos for that cooler full of Starbucks! Whoda thunk wed ever had that kind of thing in our town

They have a lot of different stores in my town....easy to get to....prices are low

If they could actually put the stuff away instead of leaving it all over the place that would be great.... maybe I suggest night stock or something inatead of having the 1 cashier also doing the stocking!

Typical Costco/Walgreens(no pharmacy)DollarTree,etc. piece of Americana in the manner of mostly having cheap “knock off” versions of household items(DG Brand)along with some name brand stuff,which if it is,it isn’t any cheaper than anywhere else.Muscatine now has no less than 4 of these dime store gems for your shopping convenience.

I dont know how everybody else is but when I go in the shop and Im going to walk around and see if I can find and see whats in the store and not get asked can I help you find something or something special look for is there something cuz it makes me feel like theyre Chase out of story

Dollar General--- my favorite store beings I DO NOT go to Wal-Mart unless absolutely necessary. I was so glad to see that masks are now required in the store-- Hooray for them stepping up!! I have even gotten so I buy a lot of my grocery items at Dollar General. The employees are most the time courteous and helpful. And with the new manager the store is cleaner and aisles are not blocked.

Store didnt have much product to choose from like other DG stores. Clothing was verrry minimal. Will not visit back anytime soon.

Large spacious store, much needed to this side of town. Staff works hard to keep up with the shopping demands; they are doing a great job but empty spots can still be found on shelves. The manager is very responsive and I believe theyll catch up & things will even out soon. The entire staff is friendly and if there is a line they move quickly to help everyone.

They made my Christmas donation go a long way for the Village Inn toy box in bettendorf and now the battered woman shelter and the homeless shelter

Decent cold n flu medicine. Well stocked. Very nice staff. Lots of parking.

Of the two stores in Muscatine I think this one is better, the location may be a little rough but the store has nice employees and they keep the store clean and organized and also well stocked.

Great place when you need something and dont have to go far

Shelves are a little bare, but thats to be expected when its the closest convenience store (versus driving 15 minutes to Walmart). Cleanliness was great considering it was snowing like crazy when I went in, but they kept on top of the floors. Friendly staff.

The staff are very helpful and pretty cheap products also.

Aisles are always packed with shipping boxes and the staff acts like they dont want to be there. Luckily my stops are quick and I can get right in and out but I worry for some customers that cannot get around very well.

The local dollar general store here in Tipton, is a nice store to go to if you dont like crowds. Very nice and helpful employees.

Decent prices, have not done a comparison but a thrifty shopper knows what top buy here. I had a great time at this ada compliant location. The selection of candy is perfect for this time of year and there is soy milk and otherwise healthy options availible here

I love Dollar General stores products however the companys greed makes it very hard and sad to shop there they do not value their employees enough to keep a staff full enough to put products on shelves For customers to purchase instead of pile in boxes in the aisles Please have An employee still working at the registers At all times so customers dont have to wait for someone to stop stocking the shelves To come check us out
