Worst experience ever! Was told when I arrived at 4 pm with my truck moving from Minnesota that I could not get into the storage until the following day! This delayed my return to Minnesota. The unit had a gross, thick spot of nastiness in the center. I took pictures so I dont get blamed! I have never gotten the gate to open they have given me 3 different cards. The guy worker laughed at my frustration! Sad because I love love love uhaul of St. Paul where I am from! Do better Muskegon! Also Uhaul dont seam to care about their customers they have only said sorry and do nothing to fix the problem!

Friendly staff, excellent equipment. I would recommend and go there again .

If there were 0 stars thats what I would give them. Came in simply to get boxes. Stood in line behind 1 person for about 5 minutes which is not a big deal. 2 people walked in behind me and were both helped before me. While I stood there. A trainee tried to help but couldnt. Was in there waiting for about 15 minutes and the guy working said ill be with you shortly. Well i would have already been out of there if you would have just helped me when i came in. This is my second attempt to simply buy boxes. The first attempt I stood and waited for over 20 minutes and no one even came to the counter. I even called while I was standing there and no one answered the phone......ADDITION... on my final trip back they did wait on me and helped me get what I needed. Manager was nice.

Ive used this store several times and my experience has been phenomenal every time. Quality equipment and flexible hours but the staff is my favorite part. Ill use Apple Ave uhaul for all my hauling needs as long as I live in the area.

Cory at UHaul was a huge help even on a Sunday. He figured out my trailer wiring problem quickly and got me going. Great personality and a great guy. Thanks again.

Thank you so much. We found the perfect sized trailer for our needs, they were very friendly, they gave us a great deal, and we had some family things to take care of and had to stay another day over easter and they helped even more with the extra day. Thank you for everything 5 star experience.

We made a reservation a week in advanced to pick up a truck at 8am. When we arrived, we were informed by the manager of the Apple Avenue location that a truck wouldnt be available until noon. When wed asked if there were any available, the manager told us they didnt know. So they screwed up our reservation AND didnt try and make it right. Ive never seen such incompetence. And from a MANAGER?!?!?!! Im APALLED. Absolutely APPALLED. This isnt how a business is run. What an absolute JOKE.

Waited 3 weeks for our appointment to get a hitch on only to be told they cant do it. Seriously, get it together. Staff lacking in communication skills amongst themselves. And the person who apparently makes the decisions as he put it, could stand a lesson in friendly customer service.

Waited on automated hold for 12 minutes. No one answered during operating hours.

Best place to get a u-haul awesome and friendly people 2 👍👍 up.

I was having a horrible time getting the truck to fit my needs to move a thousand miles away. Hailey at the east Muskegon location went above and beyond to get me what I needed. I was not in the best mood after driving an hour away and not getting what I needed. She said she totally understand how stressful moving is and did everything she could to get me what I needed. I would highly recommend this location!!

I went in to rent a storage unit, the 2 clerks were rude, complaining about their job and manager repeatedly to each customer before me. They permitted 6 other customers to jump before me and when I questioned them about their service the became vulgar and threatened to call the police. No one should ever do business with this place again!

I was impressed with the speed at which the van I rented was ready for me as a walk in. Very happy with the customer service.

Nice people. They really helped me out of a jam. Had to get my ex-girlfriends stuff out in a hurry. when every other place was closed on a Sunday these guys really saved my bacon.

Used to use uhaul, but never again. All workers I dealt with (in person and on the phone) were not friendly and barely made eye contact with me. When they cleared snow from the drives they just packed it up against the units, causing me to have to shovel my way into my unit. Over a week after I moved out they called me telling me I had a past due balance even though the man I spoke with when I moved my stuff out said I was all set. Not impressed at all. Prices are ridiculous too. I got a bigger unit for half the price at Big Big Triple A Storage on Wolf Lake rd. People are way nicer there too.

Polite and extended my rental for free from 6 hours to 24 hours since nobody was waiting for the trailer behind me!

Great customer service, they also fill propane tanks, James Brown is the manager, keep up the good job!!

Took 2 weeks for a refund. Refused cash out credit, even tho it was their mistake. Wasted 6 hours of my day to tell me they wouldn’t instal a hitch on my car due to it being more then 10 years old... wouldn’t recommend.

I had scheduled a trailer for a one-way move on my VW Dealer installed hitch. Long story short, the hitch electrical didnt work. The staff did EVERYTHING to try to fix the problem to no avail (no fee charged). It turned out that the car needed to be reprogrammed by VW--thus, nothing U-Haul could have done would have fixed the problem.They then set me up with a small truck which actually worked better than the trailer. They didnt charge for the cancellation of the trailer, which they had every right to charge. While understaffed for the amount of customers they had at the time (and my problem), they took care of everyone and didnt loose their cool.Simply, they made a bad day much better.Thanks--this location has bailed me out twice in the past three years. Once, when I need a trailer, immediately. I recommend them.

Only had to re-schedule three times because of problems on their end. Four times if you include yesterday, where I was late from helping a neighbor get to work. I called ahead and they said no problem. I arrived and it was a no go. 😡 Astonishingly awful service.

They never answer their phone, it is always forwarded to the 1800 number. But, if you have billing issues ypu have to talk to the location, so you have to have the 800 rep message them to call you. Pain in the butt! When I did speak to someone from the location I was told they were too busy to answer phones and she was VERY rude!

Complete joke. Cant keep track of their own equipment or how it is scheduled.
