Last week I bought a used vehicle from Beach Ford and Aaron was the sales representative that assisted me with my purchase. Circa 2010 I had a bad experience with the sales department and told myself I would never be back. Well I met Aaron outside of the dealership and through him, gave Beach Ford a second chance. The experience with him was a complete 180 from my past interaction and he was fantastic to work with. He helped my wife and I back in December and though we did not buy her vehicle from Ford, Aaron gained my utmost respect and trust with how he treated us even after learning he missed out on our sale. That led me back to him last week and once again his customer service was second to none. There was zero pressure of purchasing from him and he was able to get my car payment where it needed to be without increasing the life of the loan. I had even left a few valuable items in my trade-in and he was able to safely secure them for me. Stephen in the finance department was great to work with as well. He was incredibly understanding and worked hard to find me the right bank to use. All in all, I am happy to have given my business to Beach Ford and highly recommend asking for Aaron!

Walking into things I wasn’t completely sure on what I was doing, just that I needed a car. Joey asked all the right questions and showed me different options. Through this entire process of trying to buy my FIRST car, he lead me through all the stages with reassurance that everything would work out smoothly. Walked in two hours before closing on Friday to purchase a car for my wife. Was greeted by an awesome salesman named Travis. Told him I had found my desired vehicle online and wanted to take a look at it. Without hesitation or any pressure he showed me the car. Wifey took it for a short test drive and purchased before closing. Dallas finalized our paperwork and we were on our way. Everyone we came into contact that evening was so friendly and professional. I liked the service so much that I returned on Saturday. I needed a truck with good fuel mileage and leg room in back. Didn’t expect to get both in my new 2021 F 150. In June, 2021 I purchased a 2018 Ford F-150 Lariat with 32,000 miles on it. In July the oil change notice appeared. I thought this was odd after a month of owning the vehicle, but I scheduled an oil change with Beach Ford service department. When I signed up for Ford Connect it also showed 3 recalls were needed for the vehicle. When I purchased the vehicle there was not a manual and I needed the master code in order to set the outside keypad lock with my code. Also, when I would fill the gas tank, the gas gauge would not read full. I asked if they could take care of these items. I dropped my truck off for the scheduled appointment to have these items taken care of. On the second day after my appointment and not hearing from anyone, I called to check on my truck. Nothing had been done. I told them I needed my truck and would be there to pick it up. By the time I got there they had changed the oil, determined there was a bad sensor causing the fuel gauge problem, and the recalls were not safety recalls so just extend warranty on those items. I did not get a master code for the door lock and they said they would order the sensing unit and call me the first of the next week to get my truck in and fixed. After not hearing from anyone for 3 months, I received another recall notice and it prompted me to schedule another appointment to complete the fuel sensor for the fuel gauge, complete the recalls, and get a master code for the door lock keypad. I dropped off my truck on Tuesday afternoon for an 8:30 Wednesday appointment. On Thursday I get a call that the recalls were complete but the sensing unit did not cure the fuel gauge problem. They wanted to know if I needed the truck or could they keep it. I told them they could keep it as I wanted it fixed. This afternoon,Friday, I called at 4 PM checking on the status. The person working on the truck had gone home and nothing would be done over the weekend. I told them I would be in to get the truck. Still no master code for door lock keypad and no working fuel gauge. This is the first Ford I have owned as my wife and I have purchased GM products in the past. We have used Hadwin White’s service department before for numerous service requirements ranging from a simple oil change to replacing a transmission. They always had my vehicle ready when they said they would. They also were always proactive in their communication as to the status of the work being done. I am trying to figure out if Hadwin White was that good or Beach Ford is that bad. One thing I know is Beach Ford will not get another chance. I will be looking for another Ford dealer to take care of my service requirements.

A true pleasure! We had been looking for the perfect vehicle for our daughter for quite some time. When I started working with Joe, he tried to find me the vehicle that met all of the requirements. He never gave up on finding the car that checked all of the boxes like other salesmen had done before. Joe came through by finding us exactly what we were looking for in the price range we were willing to pay. He was excited to help us surprise our daughter and went above and beyond to make it happen. While on vacation from Florida, for some reason, somebody stole the passenger windshield wiper off of my wifes Escape. So we went down to the local Ford dealership in Myrtle Beach. I was expecting to be told, your gunna have to pull into bay, then the boys will get to it soon, but not the case here. I went inside and a man named Robert waited on me, I told him of our unusual misfortune, he said I got you, follow me. He took me to see Lance in the parts department, he sold me 2 replacement wipers (I wanted them to match). I brought them back to Robert like he told me too, then we went outside under then service area drive up where my wife was waiting and Robert put both wipers on himself. I was impressed with the level of comfort I felt, the hospitality & professionalism that we received. I shook his hand and asked to see the manager, he said I am the manager 😳, oh, ok, well then you must have a boss or something. He said the owner isnt here at the moment.... So, these guys are something else. If your a local and in need of a place where there is service after the sale buy your vehicle here. Or if your a customer in need of some help while your on vacation, THIS is the place to go!! Thanks Robert for keeping our vacation a vacation and getting us back on the road in about 10 to 15 minutes. 😎

Extremely Disappointed in the service. I have been bringing my vehicles to Beach Ford for quite a while for service. Bought a car from them. But my last visit to their service department was unacceptable.I drive 17 miles each way for their service. I had an appointment for oil change and suspension issue. I had a verified email from them for both services. Yet when I arrive the service advisor said they could only do the oil change because he didnt show the suspension issue. I showed him the email from his Service Department and he still declined to do the service. 34 mile round trip for no service. Im changing to another dealer. Very disappointed in the lack of consideration.

I had a Ford f-250 that I would bring to the other Ford dealership on hwy 17 after giving them multiple tries. I said never again. With a new to me f350 I needed a oil change I call quick lane at beach ford it was late in the day and I didnt expect a call back that day but at 5:55pm I get a call from Dave at Beach ford. Thats something I never got from the other Ford dealership on hwy17. He was able to get me in the next day. All I ever expect is a call back and Dave did that. Thanks for doing the right thing

Highly recommend this dealership. They have fantastic service. I’ve now bought 3 cars from here and will continue to buy from here. Aaron Baunchalk is very respectful and easy to work with. He doesn’t pressure you at all and is honest about the financial aspect. I would give him one million stars on customer service. Went in for my birthday to see if I couldnt get into a new truck. Upside down on my Jeep that I was in and credit wasnt the greatest. But I went in knowing where I needed to be. The sales world can be pretty difficult to deal with. Even Culpepper, however, is one of the best, straightforward and honest salesmen Ive met. He was realistic with me and did not promise anything he couldnt deliver. He handled the sale very professionally, despite my situation having a few curveballs uncommon to your typical car deal. Thanks to him, I got to drive my Ford Ranger off the lot for my birthday. My wife and I couldnt be happier with it.

Evan Culpepper was awesome to work with. I purchased my Mach E with Beach Ford, and Evan made the process easy and enjoyable. I was especially pleased that he did not act arrogant or cocky like a lot of car salesmen I’ve dealt with in the past - rather he was friendly and relatable. The car I purchased was in transit, and he provided timely and frequent updates. He sent me pictures once the car was on the lot, and he even proactively updated the car with settings we liked during the test drive from a couple of weeks earlier. When I arrived to pick up the car, he thoroughly walked me through the many settings and options on the vehicle and helped me set up the app. I don’t plan to buy another car for a while, but when I do, I will be very likely to go through Beach Ford again.

If you have a vehicle on this lot that you are interested in, GO HERE. After a HORRIBLE experience at Mercedes-Benz down the street, I walked in to Ford and immediately asked for a sales manager. A sales rep walked his manager over to me and I asked them to draw a number up, best and final, of the vehicle I was interested in because I did not want to play the haggle game.In five minutes they brought back an offer that was shockingly and surprisingly good. They did exactly what I asked so that I could buy the car and get out of there with a good experience, no BS.Could not say better things about this place. My wife and I went to Beach Ford because I have been friends with the Sales Manager James Brown since we were kids. James turned us over to one of his Sales Representatives Joe Feinburg. Joe was by far the best sales person we have ever meet. No pressure or Hype. Joe was patient helping us find the right car. The Finance Manager Mr. Dallas was not missing a beat either. Joe and Mr. Dallas came to Joe’s desk and said, we have an approval, but we think we can get you a better interest rate and thus lower your payment. There is no doubt in my mind that most dealerships and teams would have sold us the car right then. They told us that it may take some time, but let them work on it. It took a couple of hours but they lowered our payment by over $150.00.They didn’t have to do that. They had the sale already. They said it was the right thing to do. This is the first time in my 57 years of life that literally tell everyone about Beach Ford, Joe Feinburg and Mr. Dallas. I highly recommend this Dealership and Joe Feinburg.Anthony Amann

Not impressed at all with Beach Ford. Have a one owner 2013 Shelby GT500 Mustang and called to schedule an oil & filter change. They tried sending me to Quick Lube and said I want a real mechanic to change the oil on the Shelby and not a Quick Lube tech. They sent me to Service and a voicemail system. Never heard back today from Service on 5/17/21. Later in the day sent an online request to the Parts Dept using their specific form. Never received a reply from their Parts Dept on my request. Pathetic on both counts ! Will follow up with Ford Customer Service as a long-time buyer of new Ford vehicles including a large commercial fleet.

The worst customer swrbice ever. I spent at least $2000 on my car for maintenance. Where i come from they do complete look ever and let you know what else needs to be looked at. They even vaccum your car out and clean your windoes. I had to ask them to look at things. They didnt even try to sell me a a car. I had to almost argue with the shuttlw driver to get a ride home. I even tried the one in Pawleys for further work and they where a little better but still customer service wasnt a strong point. I will not by another ford and take it to either. Im about to by 2 for my business.

Decided not to have the work they said the truck needed. If I am going to pay $3500 for repairs I am just going to get a new vehicle. Paid the $160 diagnostic fee. Picked truck up on way home had a horrible flat tire. (new tires) The person that fixed the tire said looked like an ice pick made the hole. I dont know what happened but when I brought the truck in the tires were good. I didnt even bother contacting them. Just try to find another mechanic. They are just way over priced. $975 repair for a $24 part. They cant get parts in for weeks (Because of Covid they say). I got rid of the truck this morning and decided not to go with another Ford.

Upon visiting my daughter, I took her car to beach ford for a recall. Upon stepping into the service area, I was greeted with a nice welcome from not just one service manager, but several. I was ready to pick up a rental car, since I didnt know how long it would take. The service maneger indicated that I wouldnt need one and would get the car serviced within 30 minutes. Also, as I walked around the showroom, I was greeted with a smile and good morning for all employees throughout a very clean and modern showroom. The waiting room was great, clean and stocked with freash coffe and more, which was checked on by staff on a regular basis. I own three ford cars in Pittsburgh and could only wish that the leval of service, friendly staff and clean and modern dealership could be duplicated in Pittsburgh. Upon my next visit, I plan to drive my older f-150 for a new Platium and will certainly purchase from Beach Ford.

BEWARE - Certified Pre-Owned Cigarette Smell Lincoln -We bought a 2018 Certified Pre-Owned Lincoln MKC from Beach Ford in late April 2021. At first it smelled ok, like perfume and we didn’t think much of it. But, after a few days the cigarette smoke smell appeared — Strong! The smell gets really bad in the heat of the day. Talked to them and they didn’t offer to take it back. They offered and did a chlorine treatment that only made the smells worse. The sales manager told me to place charcoal briquettes in car [sic]. We were not happy with Beach’s solutions. We got rid of the car and mitigated our losses.Beach Ford should never have sold a Certified Pre-Owned car that had been smoked in. Especially when the Certified check-list #92 says “Interior Odor-Free”. That’s Just Not Right, at All!### BUYER BEWARE ###

I will say my family has been telling me I needed to go into Beach Ford and my first thought is there is no way I’m never going to be able to get from out of my car that I was in. I’ve went to other dealerships and they always gave me false hopes. I was obviously not looking to get into another car anytime soon... my goal was to wait til tax time and trade mine in! Joe Feinberg was such an awesome guy with putting up with me between forgetting what he said a millions times because I was so excited and also blow away. Pleasant initial buying experience, followed by very poor customer service and follow-up with regards to final delivery of my purchased truck. My deal was completed at the dealership and I was to pick-up my vehicle two days later after getting a new spray-in bed-liner installed. I drove from almost an hour away to meet for the final exchange of vehicles (exchange of trade-in for new truck). I was forced to wait almost 2 additional hours beyond our scheduled meet-up time to finally take ownership of my vehicle. I was promised several times that it would only be a few more minutes only to wait almost an additional hour. My scheduled appointment with the salesman was for 4:30 pm, I did not take ownership until almost 6:30 pm. I then had to drive back to Florence, SC. Salesman was unapologetic and offered nothing to help rectify the situation. Sales manager was only willing to offer a car wash and a full tank of gas as repayment for my troubles. I would not recommend this dealership as they cared nothing for the customer after money was exchanged, and did not offer any reasonable compensation to fairly rectify the situation. Had to go all the way to the general manager of the dealership to get any kind of sincere apology. Do NOT recommend.

AVOID BEACH FORD, the most dishonest dealer on the beach. Kent sold my Father a 2016 FORD FOCUS, we were aware of the clutch issue as is most of the US Car Industry. We attempted to have repaired and told not part of the Ford extended coverage for this KNOWN issue. The clutch slippage was clearly noted during test drive and Kent Jenkins repeatedly reassured my Father it would be repaired. A complaint was filed with SC Consumer Affairs and as you will note Dominic Mason response appears vehicle out of warranty and no extended coverage for dp6 clutch on this issue. Dominic doesnt mention they sold vehicle with known defect and failed to disclose. My friend is a Beach Ford Mechanic and knew the car and the issue, which is probably whey Kent was anxious to sell the vehicle.I purchased identical vehicle in South Port, NC less mileage without the clutch issue. Had Beach Ford and Kent Jenkins, not blatantly lied we would have purchased elsewhere. Please avoid this dealer at all costs!

Great Place to buy a car! Horrible service Dept. Ive waited 3 weeks on a fuse because the 3rd row seating isnt working on a new vehicle. They say they have fuses and they dont know which one to use. I ask if she had internet service. Answer yes. Well then why doesnt she help to look up the manual for the car and pull the fuse? Ive never had such bad service. I ordered weather tech mats for the back flat area since ford doesnt make one for that area. It was a birthday gift. They never called me to tell me the part was in. I finally called and they said yeah its been here a long time. no one called you? We traded a Range Rover v8 with all the bells and whistles. I feel the deal was good but the service at Beach is the worst I have ever dealt with...I recommend Richard for a sales person, everyday all day. I know how to work a car deal very well as I was in the industry. Hes super

Landon Thompson was the best salesman Ive ever dealt with. Ive been buying cars for forty years, in both Connecticut & South Carolina. Landon was very patient and clearly answered all my questions. He spent four hours with me explaining all the options available on the Mustang GT. He took me for test drives in three different vehicles. Then he found the Mustang I wanted (in another state) and got it to me the very next day. One of the nicest things (and unlike any other salesperson Ive dealt with) Landon waited until I was sure of what I wanted and then started talking about finances.If youre looking for a car, I recommend Beach Ford and definitely ask for Landon Thompson.

We purchased a 2017 Ford Edge from Beach Ford and it was probably the easiest and best car buying experience we have ever had. Our salesperson was Landon Thompson and he was very professional in that he helped us sort out all the wants and needs we had and never pressured us in any way. When we stated that we needed some time before making a decision he and the sales manager, James, encouraged us to take the car home for the weekend with no strings attached. Of course we came back on Monday and bought the car after pushing for an additional discount which we received. Landon spent a considerable amount of time with us in the car going over all of the technology features, syncing phones, explaining navagation, etc. and told us that since we purchased from him that he came with the car and we should call him anytime with questions. Well, we had problems with the touch screen, radio, navagation, etc., so Landon checked it out and tried to reboot it but to no avail so scheduled us with an appointment with the service department at their expense. So far nothing but good to say about Beach Ford and especially Landon Thompson.

Beach fords service has always done right by me going on 3 years now. Vernon has been my service advisor for all the service Ive needed. Still wouldnt buy a vehicle from them, have had several bad experiences as a customer and from the financial industry side. Went to purchase a raptor, sales manager consistently pushed me to look at the shelby f150. Found the raptor I was interested in and asked to talk about price because it was used and listed over MSRP, was basically told thats the price and if I cant afford it then dont waste their time(bought a new one from conway ford the next day and all around much better experience). I have been looking for a new car for a while and I wanted a Grabber Blue Mustang in particular. I was on vacation in Myrtle Beach and decided to stop by some of the local lots to look while I was in the area. I was shocked to find the exact car I had been looking for on the lot of Beach Ford and decided to come back the next day for a test drive. My salesman, Clay Purifoy, was awesome from the first meeting. He was friendly, knowledgable, and didnt make me feel pressured at all. The whole process was done in under two hours and I drove away feeling like I got a great deal. I highly recommend the folks at Beach Ford and Clay in particular! Absolutely fantastic experience! Clay and Dallas were outstanding! They were thorough, but worked quickly. I did a lot of research before visiting, and I had a list of three cars to look at. Many sales professionals dont have patience for my Type-A personality, but Clay didnt bat an eye. His laid-back style was refreshing. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a tour of the features of my car. They have made me a customer for life!

I had an awesome experience with this dealership! I shopped around in the fall of 2017 and Tamika Scott helped me find a new Explorer Sport that was perfect for me. When I attempted to drop my vehicle off for service at the dealership after-hours and the gate was locked, Tamika responded to my text message and explained what I needed to do. The staff took care of the issues with my car since everything was under warranty and gave me $550+ in credit towards the purchase of new tires. Overall, I was very happy with the service Tamika provided and with the dealerships handling of the warranty-related work on my vehicle.

If you want a great buying experience see Peter Wilkin. It was great working with him, he was ever helpful and did a great job getting me the deal that I wanted and was not high pressured at all. I have worked with many sales people over the 58 years that I have been driving and he rates even with the top two salesmen that I have ever dealt with. We purchased a truck for work the night before and headed up the next evening to pick it up. Peter was with another customer and Landon saw us waiting in the cold. He approached us and acknowledged we were working with Peter and offered assistance. My wife asked a few questions about the new Expedition. He listened to her wants and said, “Let me show you something.” Little did any of us know that he was going to pull up in my wife’s new SUV. I cannot say enough wonderful things about their finance man, Dallas. BUYER BEWARE: I found a car that I wanted to purchase, the experience was great, salesman wasnt pushy, let me take the car home... but that is where the good experience stopped. Worked on numbers via the phone as the salesman would not text any numbers, NOW I KNOW WHY, when I told them I would get my own financing, I was encouraged to go through them so they could find a better rate. I got to the dealership, all paperwork was supposedly completed before my arrival. Got there and had to sign more paperwork and wait 30 minutes for the finance manager. Get in his office, find out the vehicle is $5,000 MORE than told to me over the phone, the Finance Manager had me complete BLANK documents for the DMV, said his girls had to type the information in, had me sign all transfer docs before moving onto financing docs. Once I found the drastic price difference I called off the deal. Obviously the amount was NOT what was agreed on and the interest was higher than quoted by my bank. I just hung up from my bank questioning why the rate I was provided was different as well, to see if I could use the same loan to take my business elsewhere so my credit wouldnt take another hit.. my bank advised me the rate I was quoted was in fact CORRECT, that dealers get a kick back for running the financing through them and since they ran the app through the dealership my credit will take another hit when I find the vehicle I want... Beach Ford changed the quoted price AND were going to get a kick back... thanks, but no thanks, Ill take my business elsewhere!!!

Had an issue with a Nissan that I had. Nissan wouldn’t fix the problem so I drove to Beach Ford. The service manager, Dominic, fixed the issue within five minutes. He was extremely polite and willing to fix any issue I had. I had a great experience with everyone who worked with me today. I ended up driving away in a brand new Ford and couldn’t be happier. The place is really clean and accommodating to its customers. The salesman are helpful and dedicated when helping you find what’s best for you! They worked hard to get me what I had in mind. Also, they have some pretty tasty popcorn and a mixture of popular music playing in the background. So glad I made the decision to stop here today.

Excellent experience, was looking to get a new vehicle and wasnt exactly sure what we wanted decided to stop here to take a look at the pre-owned Explorers. We werent there even 5 minutes and Dez came out to us and asked what he could help us with, he wasnt pushy I told him what I was looking for but wasnt sure exactly what I wanted. Test drove a nice explorer he gave us some numbers that were very reasonable but I was still unsure. He asked what it would take to keep me there to purchase my vehicle and I told him it was the first vehicle I had looked at and I wanted to look at a couple other vehicles before I made my decision. I went to a Cheverolet and GMC dealership and walked their lots and not one person came up to us to see if they could help us. Needless to say we went back to Beach Ford and purchased an Explorer. They were very helpful, and efficient and gave us a fair trade in for our vehicle. Dez was great and the whole experience was excellent and only took a few hours. My husband and I were on vacation last week in Myrtle Beach and on our first day discovered a nail in the tire on our F150. We were certainly disappointed that our vacation started out like this and found the nearest Ford dealership which happened to be Beach Ford. We went to Quick Lane and were greeted by Linda Tyndall and Loretta Todd. When they found out we were on vacation they managed to have our truck looked at promptly and much to our pleasant surprise the technician, Darrin Cleveland, came in shortly to let us know that the nail didnt puncture our tire.
