I am very grateful for Charlie’s service. We were on vacation when our brakes went out. He was open later than the other businesses which helped us tremendously. He offers mobile services but we asked if it would be better to drive to his shop. He stayed in contact with us so we knew where to go and when the our car was ready. The alternator in my daughter’s car went out yesterday. At the worst possible time. The mechanic we usually go to takes forever to get us in, so I googled mechanics and came across Ace mobile repair. I gave him a call and the gentleman was nice, quoted me a reasonable price and said he would be out this afternoon. The prompt service and reasonable price was enough to make this my new go-to mechanic, but then when he came to fix her car, he also mentioned that the vehicle was low on coolant. He topped it off and listened to it run for a while to make sure it wouldn’t overheat and would be safe for my daughter to drive. It was above & beyond, and I very much appreciate him looking over her car like that. I will definitely reach out to him again for any repairs on any of our vehicles!

The day that I arrived to start my vacation, my battery light in my car came on. It was a Saturday night and nothing was open, so I google car mechanics and Charlie came up and was still open. I gave him a call and told him what was going on and I told him it was the alternator, which he agreed. He said hed call back with prices sand within 5 minute he called back. Then told me he could have it done for me Monday. He always kept me in the loop of what was going on. My car was finished on monday. Great guy and very handy. Would recommend.

Charlie was AMAZING! I called on Friday evening and he was able to get out to help on Saturday early afternoon. He needed to order a part that no one seemed to have in stock so he wasnt going to be able to get the car fixed till Sunday or possibly Monday. Then through some phone calls and checking he found the part and got my car up and running in a matter of a few hours. Super honest and very nice. This guy doesnt charge you an arm and a leg, he is very reasonable especially for the service you are getting. If I had taken my car to the actual dealer or even another shop mechanic I would have paid double if not triple what he charged. If your car breaks down this man is who you should call!

Charlie was fast to diagnose and fix our problem with the AC while on vacation here. We drove over 8 hours here and happy to have it solved right away before our 8 hours back home. My car would not start. I suspected it had a bad battery and was unable to jump-start it. I did not want to have to have it towed to a garage so I checked online for mobile mechanics and found AAA Ace Mobile Auto Repair. I called and spoke to Charlie. He showed up promptly, diagnosed the problem as a bad battery and replaced it with one he had brought with him based on the description I gave him of the car. The repair took just a few minutes. I will call Charlie for any future repairs and would highly recommend him.

Not from this area was having ac problems. Charlie was very honest. The compressor needed to be replaced talking 1100.00 said he could fix it but with us being out of town and something else went wrong he could not guarantee his work. Said that he could charge it for us and it should last about six months till we got home to our mechanic and then they could take care of it and theny can guarantee their work he was very honest about it did not want to put a new compressor on it with the power that it would have it may blow a hose or it could cause some other problems before we got home were very grateful that he was very honest about this, you need any ac work or any kind of mechanical work please call AAA ace mobile auto repair excellent. You want be disappointed.

Outstanding, will be recommending ACE Mobile Auto Repair to everyone I know who comes to this area on vacation. I just got to the Myrtle Beach area to go camping for the week and was towing my Chevy Tracker, when I went to use it for a day of sightseeing the rear brake line failed just as I pulled out of the campground. I was able to get it back to my campsite using the ebrake. I asked around at the campground but nobody had any suggestions as to repair place, so I looked on line. All the local shops only had a dozen or less average to good reviews but when I came across ACE Mobile Auto Repair they had over 70 excellent reviews. I called at 11AM and talked with Charlie, a great guy buy the way, after telling him my issue he said he could fit me in that day and gave me an estimate over the phone. He called me about 1 hr later and said he could fit me in. Long story short he replaced the failed brake lines and had me back up and running by 2 that day. He said his available is not typically that quick but where else can you get such great service and fast all for a reasonable price. I will be recommending ACE to everyone I know. Charlie fixed my water pump in about an hour and a half. He did however break off my fan shroud in the process of replacing the water pump. Could have been avoided but I can just Gorilla Glue it back on I guess. His price beats the price of a corporate owned automotive shop (Meineke, Firestone) easily.

Our vehicle had picked up a nail in one of our tires early in the morning. We noticed it after we returned home and needed to have it fixed so we could drive the car. Called Ace Mobile Auto Repair and Charles came as soon as he was free. The nail was in the sidewall so the tire was not able to be repaired (He tried but it continued to leak). He removed the tire and installed the spare so we could drive to a shop to have the tire replaced. Charles was very professional and efficient. I would recommend his service to anyone.

WOW! 200 miles from home on vacation and my truck broke down! I had a house full of grandchildren. Charlie answered the phone at night when I expected to leave a message. He diagnosed the problem, called me to discuss the problem and the cost to repair. I had my truck back the next day with no down time with my family. Top-notch mechanic! Changed a alternator and battery in Chrysler 200 S. To change the battery he had to remove the tire and fender well. Will definitely call on him again if we have car trouble.

If you are looking for an honest auto repair technician Ace is your guy. I took my car to another shop for an estimate on a transmission shifting issue. That shop told me I needed a new or rebuilt transmission for around $2,000 or more and I told him I had to wait on that. Then it finally crapped out on me near the Coastal Grand Mall. I limped into the parking lot and Googled mobile mechanic. By chance I called Charlie (Ace) and he was there in about a half an hour, he looked under the hood and told me that I had a broken shiftier linkage connector missing. He went and got one from Dodge, put it on the van and $175 later I was back in business. I just wonder if the other shop new this was the problem ??? I recommend Ace Mobile Repair to anyone in need of auto repair in the Myrtle Beach area.

My engine had heated up and there was a crack on the radiator and I had to leave my car at a hotel in Myrtle Beach. I called this Mobile Mechanic, and told Charlie about the situation. He told me over the phone that I might need to replace the radiator, but he can only confirm after looking at the car. The next day, Nick took a look and immediately told me what had actually happened. He even told me what warning lights would have turned on when this happened, which was exactly what had happened. One of the belt had stripped off leading to the radiator bursting up. He fixed everything within an hour. Very honest person and the charges were reasonable too. Unlike other mechanics, he did not scare me about other problems that I might have. He did warn me before fixing everything that there could be a problem with broken gasket, and if so, the engine might get heated up again. So far, there has been no problem at all. Definitely recommend this mechanic.
