Very disappointed with the service department. My husband dropped our 2020 kia sorento for oil change on 10/21/21 early before work after we we were told on the day before. When my husband went to pick up around 4:00 no service had been done and no one had called. The service person was kinda rude with my husband. He said that they were 4 weeks behind. I dont why they told us it was okay leave it. My husband even emailed the guy that sold us the car.Thank you,Victoria Lavigne

Just got off the phone with another Kia dealership. He was baffled how Kia in Myrtle Beach priced the Kia K5 GT Line at $38k+ Weve done a lot of research and when we received the invoice, we knew we were being hassled and taken advantage of. There was no K5 in stock and was told we could order one. The Kia dealership we spoke to on the phone said You cant order one. This Kia Representative was honest and great and will be going through him instead of Kia in Myrtle Beach.
Go to a different location!!!!!! The myrtle beach location prices are over 5 thousand dollars more than other ones and the staff here isnt very great either! This is coming from someone whos gotten 2 cars here.

Service department is the worst!!! I try to get routine maintenance done and they tell me they are booked for 2 months…. That’s utterly ridiculous. You buy a brand new car and can’t even get the oil changed. I even thought I was doing well calling a couple weeks ahead of when I was going to need to oil change but 2 months out is insane by then I’ll be way over my miles which is probably their goal so that the factory warranty gets voided.

We just had a very nice experience at Myrtle Beach Kia... thanks to a great team, and special accommodations offered by Mike Bazinet. My wife had her on eye on a specific 2019 Kia Sportage, but she was out of town and we were afraid that it would sell, prior to her getting back. Mike was able to pull some strings to make sure it was still available, once she returned.We had originally dealt with Joe ( his last name escapes me, but just ask for the bearded wonder ). He was super nice, and fun to work with. Once my wife was back in town, Mike and Joe worked together to ensure that we got a good deal. And once we came to an agreement, Mike went the extra mile, to make sure we fully understood the features of our vehicle.
Remember folks, They DONT repair, they ONLY replace. They wanted $5500+ to replace a motor that ONLY required a spun bearing that costs $1500+ to fix. And THATS why my 4 year old Kia Soul got abandoned to be repod! They will set you up for FAILURE because they are ONLY about RIPPING YOU OFF!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

A++ service, Today is my wife’s birthday our Kia broke down on us just after breakfast leaving us stranded (and a very mad/sad wife) I called this dealership and spoke to James explain to him what was going on, explain to him it was a special day not just an ordinary one was my wife’s birthday we’re from Pennsylvania so we are a long way from home. Even though I didn’t have an appointment nor have I ever taken the car here before James snuck my vehicle in pretty quickly diagnosed it and repaired it even quicker. The cost for the repair I feel was very reasonable especially all things considering the timely manner of taking care of my vehicle and the excellent customer service that I received from James. A lot of time you deal with customer service reps who know how to talk and will reassure you of something and then just not deliver, if you come to the SKU I would highly recommend asking for James as I feel he is a straight shooter not going to sugarcoat anything and do what he can to assist you.

I went into Myrtle Beach Kia looking for a good deal and a good deal I got! I walked in and met with Aaron Clark and told him exactly what I wanted in a car, what price range I wanted and he listened and delivered. He truly cared about what I wanted and did everything in his power to make sure I got it. I also met with Dan the General Manager who is super friendly! I did not feel any pressure at all. I just moved to SC from NJ. I did not get my drivers license here yet and when I tried to buy a car, there was a major dilemma getting a customer number from SCDMV because the condo I purchased lists my address several different ways and the utility company doesnt show street address but rather the building name. TestimonialToday I had a very flat tire while driving home after playing golf. Called Kia roadside assistance and had my 2018 Kia Optima towed to Myrtle Beach Kia. Everything went smoothly with the tow job...quick and professional.Arriving at the Kia dealership I was greeted by Joe Claudio to ask how he could help. I explained my problem and he informed me that service department was gone for the day. There was no loaner available so I was basically stranded 35 miles from home. Joe said he would look for another solution.Very shortly he returned with the dealership GM Matt Bazinet.They said they were going to look for a spare on one of their lease cars, would return and change the tire for me ( in their sales clothes???). And that is exactly what happened!!! Ten minutes later I was back in my vehicle headed home.Too many times today the words customer service are just a cliche. None of my calls were returned. No one tried to help, never even got told the price of the car or got showed a break down and they suddenly wanted 3,000 down when they hadn’t even showed me a price. I feel as if they never tried to help me and just didn’t care. I will NEVER bring my business to Myrtle beach Kia ever again.
I had to have a part replaced due to a recall and they checked over my car and found that I needed to have my breaks done from normal wear. The staff were great and always updating me on the progress of my car. I will be returning to their service dept.
Myrtle Beach Kia changed the oil and checked our 2015 Kia on 8/4/2020. Shortly after this we took a 200 mile trip on which the low tire pressure indicator came on. On checking the tire pressure all tires were at or below 30 PSI when the specs call for 35 PSI. Unfortunately I had not checked the tires assuming that Myrtle Beach Kia would get that right. Fortunately I had a compressor in the vehicle. Guess I will have to check everything they do in the future.
Me and my fiancé were at Kia a few weeks ago because our lease was up on our 2018 Kia Sportage and we were looking for something bigger as we have a 2 year old and have another one on the way in the next few weeks. We knew we wanted a van because of the space and extra room and Errick Hayes was wonderful. We dealt with Errick with our Sportage and now he was helping us get into something bigger. He really listened to us and what we were wanting and was able to get us in a 2021 Kia Sedona. I have had it for a few weeks and it was the best decision we made. Errick is the best and he still checks up on us to make sure we like the van and keeps in touch not many sales people will do that but Errick does and that’s what makes him the best! I bought my first Telluride from this dealer. Had to work hard on my trade. Finally got what I wanted. I wanted to trade my Telluride to this dealer 7600 miles EX. They offered me 34500. I felt that was low. I went back several times and they kept quoting me low numbers. You would think since I went back at least 3 times they would think I was interested. Not to mention I was a repeat customer. I decided to go elsewhere. I got a better price from Lumberton sight unseen 38500. I had also spoke to Car Town Kia Florence a few times. I was about to drive to Lumberton and order one when I decided to go to Florence since it was closer, to get a price on my trade. I got 39500 for the same trade and a better price on a fully loaded Telluride SX Nightfall 2000 dollars less than Myrtle Beach Kia. I guess the people in Myrtle Beach dont care what they pay. Do your homework and dont be afraid to drive to a other dealer. Myrtle Beach Kia has lost my new car business. I drove 60 miles to save 7000 Dollars

Best Service Experience EVER at ANY Kia Dealership. My first call was to the parts department, they had quick answers and fair pricing. They smoothly passed me over to service where I spoke with Matt... again, courteous, professional and concise. Jeremy ended up helping me when I arrived... he got the ball rolling immediately and kept me updated throughout the process. He even helped me save a few bucks in the process! The Service Waiting Area gives a unique perspective of the operation.. from what I can see, the place seems to run really smoothly and the employees appear to be genuinely happy to he here. Those things are hard to fake... The facility itself was super clean, everyone seemed to be taking Covid19 precautions... Overall, the Best Service Department Ive seen ANYWHERE in a long time. Ive purchased two vehicles from MB KIA. While the sales staff were very nice, there were issues with their service. I was never given the second key for my pre owned vehicle,as promised. Worse though I wasnt told about or given the unique tool that is required to change the tires. Due to this my husband, 2 year old grand baby and I were stranded on the side of the highway for several hours. Of the 6 or so people that I spoke with at KIA, when trying to get picked up and our tire dealt with, only 2 of them were kind and caring. The others actually suggested that the tool was most likely in the car,even though I explained that Id never seen it and my husband tore up the car looking. It seemed that we were just a nuisance to them that they didnt care to deal with. Thankfully, the receptionist was professional. Also, Rich, who happily picked us up, was wonderful. Extremely disappointed that this is how a returning customer is treated in a time of need, due to THEIR error.
From start to finish we had a fantastic experience. Our lease came to an end so our usual service adviser, Matt Gipe, put us in touch with Mike Bazinet from the sales department. Both of these gentlemen were very helpful. Mike was awesome in helping us find a new vehicle along with a payment that we were comfortable with. Chris Poplin our finance guy was excellent. I went in to possibly up grade my 2012 kia Forte to a newer model. Used but newer and ended up with a brand new Kia Soul S. The staff are simply amazing. I love my new Soul Thank you Joe and Tim.
I started my deal with Myrtle Beach Kia via contacting the salesman Joe Claudio online. He was able to accurately describe the vehicle that I was interested in and was very knowledgeable of the product he was selling. He informed me of the importance of putting a deposit on vehicles that are of interest because they may not be available for an extended period of time. Despite this, I did not put a deposit on the vehicle. A few days later I arrived to the dealership looking to drive a specific car off the lot that had sold shortly before I arrived. Although this was slightly unsettling, the dealership allowed me to test drive a similarly equipped car (to ensure I enjoyed all aspects of the vehicle). After a short test drive I knew that the car was the correct one for me. Because the car I was interested in had sold, Myrtle Beach Kia was willing to have the exact car that I wanted driven to the dealership the very next day (with under 24hours of waiting). The dealership also allowed me to drive a similarly equipped vehicle off of their lot that day until my car was ready to be picked up. Overall I am very pleased with the dealership but have the most praise for Joe Claudio who worked hard through multiple days to ensure that I received exactly what I wanted exactly as I wanted it. If it wasnt for this excellent salesman, Myrtle Beach Kia may not have received my business and I am very happy that they have. If I am interested in buying another car or have any family or friends interested I will be sure to recommend not only Myrtle Beach Kia, but Joe Claudio specifically.
My wife and I were accompanying our friend, who recently lost her husband. She asked to go with her and asked me specifically to act as her advocate when asking questions and getting details about SUVs, as I have over 30 years experience in the automobile business. I have never been treated so rudely by any car sales person in my entire life. I asked this so called sales person, if the vehicle we were looking at had a power seat. He initially ignored me, I asked again, he said that he would answer to our friend. He was rude, crude and totally unprofessional. If he worked for me and treated a customer or anyone with a customer, with such disdain, I would have fired him on the spot. If I could leave less than one star I would.I want to post this follow up to the above horrible experience. I was contacted by Matt Bazinet, the General Manager of Myrtle Beach Kia, during this call, Matt apologized for the bad experience, expressed his concern with our experience and wanted to know what he could do to make it right. He was a complete gentleman and was totally genuine in his comments.When we went back, Joe Claudio met us as I was parking the car. He introduced us to Matt, and showed us the new 2021 Kia Sorento. He and Matt were totally Professional, Courteous and extremely interested in earning our business.While all agreed that our original experience was uncalled for, I told them that it is what they did to make it right that brought us back.Kudos to Matt for his proactive efforts to maintain a high level of customer service! My compliments.
I’m from Virginia, while I’m vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC, the engine in my 2015 Kia Optima failed. I contacted Kia in Myrtle Beach, conversed with the service department and traveled to said location. I dropped my Kia Optima off, next day, I was contacted by them saying my engine suffered from complete engine failure. Luckily, they was able to locate a recall on the vehicle and repair my vehicle free on charge. Also, they went ahead and contacted Hertz to provide me with a rental until my vehicle was repaired. Friendly and great employees, I cannot thank them more for putting my mind at ease. I said thank you a thousand times and the guys said “Man, no need to thank me, that’s my job!” To conclude, the employees of the service department advised me not to worry about my vehicle that they would take care of it. Joe is very helpful and has a good sense of humor. Answered all my questions and got a decent deal for me. Ask for Joe for sales.Update: Took my car in for an oil change. Had a 9am appointment. Got there 5 minutes early. My car sat for 45 minutes before they took it back. Another 45 minutes later they bring it back. Takes another 14 minutes to get me checked out. Over $65 for an oil change. Sales people are good, but service stinks, so Im reducing their stars from 5 to 3.

I bought a car from Kia one year ago two weeks ago I took it in for an oil change at the dealership 2 weeks later the motor started having problems so I had the vehicle towed to Kia this was two weeks ago Ive still yet to hear back from anybody about my vehicle I called several times and the last time I called they told me that they werent going to be able to look at my vehicle for another month so that would put the vehicle in the shop for a month and a half this is unacceptable and the service department manager told me oh well theres nothing you can do the vehicle is covered under warranty however I cant do anything until someone looks at the vehicle this is very disappointing

It took over 3 hours for express service, an oil change and tire rotation. That’s unacceptable!Other than the wasted time, everything else was satisfactory. As my car is under extended warranty, I don’t have many options other than to cancel contract and use an after market service station. Maybe they are taking advantage of being the only Kia dealership in the market.
