We left on a vacation not realizing we needed an oil change. Stopped in at Turn Key Automotive when they were busy and short staffed and they had us out in 30 minutes. Price was lower than we pay at home and much lower than another garage we checked with in the Myrtle Beach area. All around great experience. If we lived in the area we’d give TKA first dibs at being our regular auto shop.

A little misunderstanding on when the job was complete, but very friendly personnel. Reasonable price. Would recommend this service center to others.

Been coming to turnkey for years; they used to be great! Last few times my diagnosis was done by a teenager and had to be rechecked by his supervisor to find the problem. They used to be more thorough with fluid checks and full point inspections at no charge, and have recently started to overcharge me on parts and labor for some basic maintenance. The owner is no longer the operating manager and this place is falling off with some slack diagnosis and complacent workers. Recently I was told by a mechanic that he couldnt repair my adaptive headlight because it would be too much work, a real headache to fix. Been taking my 3 vehicles elsewhere since my last visit-

Was on vacation in myrtle beach. Pulled the campet out from Atlanta and service 4wd light came up on the way out. Turns out was just stuck in 4WD. They found a service bulletin and reprogrammed. Even though he was suoer busy he understood my plight having to tow back home and squeezee me in.

Replaced my ball joints and wheel bearing on my truck, its running great. Bob at the front desk is awesome. These guys will fix you up right without getting you to pay for more than you need.

This place was totally there for me,I was on vacation and my car broke down,I got it towed to turn key from firestone,Firestone referred me.Turn key replaced my engine in less than 2 weeks and now its like new,they could not of did a better job!,I would recommend them to anyone,best around hands down

I went in and was told I needed new break pads and routers, it was metal on metal. I had 20 percent pad left and routers in perfect condition. They told me my battery was at 3 percent, I checked it at auto zone, it us at 100 percent. They charged me 274.99 to have an oil change change with a drip pan seal replaced. That was 2o min time, 200.00 of that was labor. This place is terrible. When I called him up to vo.plain he told me I was lying, he never said any of that! Stay far away. Especially if youre female. They will lie and bleed you dry. Shame on you. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I was extremely impressed that I was told it could be completed the same day. I would highly suggest this shop to anyone in the area of Myrtle Beach.The first day of our vacation in Myrtle Beach we got a flat tire. We initially took our car to Firestone and they said that the tire could not be repaired and that our only option was to buy a new tire... for the price of $210 (for a single tire!) These tires were pretty new so I wasnt about to spend that much. We took the tire to Turnkey Automotive and $20 later our tire was fixed and we were on our way.The next day we stopped by a grocery store to get supplies and when we shut the rear door the window came off track and nearly fell into the door. After having such a great experience the day before at Turnkey we decided to take our car back there. The window repair was to take two hours and where we were staying was not too far off from there so instead of waiting at the shop my girlfriend and I walked home. The owner of the shop called to let us know the car was finished sometime later and I told him that we most likely wouldnt make it back until the next day because we didnt have a ride. He then offered to come pick us up, since we were in close proximity to the shop, so that we could get the car that day.The owner of this shop seems to have a passion for the work that he does and the extent and degree of customer service has never been matched by any shop I have been to, both here in Myrtle Beach and back home in Columbus, Ohio.

I have a 5 ton minnie winnebago camper and most shops cant even work on it.I showed up at Turnkey auto at 11 am with no appointment and they looked at my Hangar bearing problem and quoted time for labor and overall cost.At 1:00pm....same day...my motorhome was fixed and ready for the road...cost...just as they said...in fact was a few bucks under !Friendly, helpful, answered all my questions and I usually have lots.Drove it home, 1000 miles, problem was totally fixed.Well done Turnkey ...if Im there again and need work done...if know where Ill go.Thx

DO NOT USE TURN KEY AUTOMOTIVE! I took them my vehicle and told them that a man who worked at jiffy lube told me the problem in my car was the transmission. They just laughed and said jiffy lube.... They dont know anything they only change oil Turn Key automotive then diagnosed my car and told me I needed new coil packs and charged me $1,100.00. I paid them and drove off. It was doing the exact same thing it was doing when I took it to them. So I dropped it back off to them. The next day they called me to tell me it was the transmission and it would cost $3500!!!!! Remember,I mentioned to them that myself and the man at jiffy lube think its the transmission before they charged me $1,100 for coil packs! CROOKS!

I have brought my car in twice for minor repairs, and both times I received professional advice from Bill, the service advisor. Also, I was very satisfied with the quality of the work performed, and the pricing was fair and straightforward. The air-conditioned waiting area is clean and has new magazines ​as well as a TV. Being from Boston, I feel happy to have discovered this auto repair shop, and will be bringing all of my vehicles there for future service.

We were on vacation and our brakes went bad. We were 9 hours away and they gladly squeezed us in and fixed the problem. Replaced our brakes and rotors and calibers. Very honest, very nice. The guys at the front desk held conversation and were friendly. Would go to them as a regular if We didn’t live so far away.

Took my f- 250 for a break job n James put new pads rotors n calibers in January 2019, n in September my mechanic check them n the pads where wore out metal to metal, but caught it in time n didnt heart the roters. I call n to yo him n he said what do want me do do about it.Well pads should last longer than that, this truck sits in my driveway more thrn it is drove. The oil chang last longer then my breaks, thought I had found a place out of town for my repairs but l would not let them even change my oil.Other guys might might be good, just sealed with one.

***THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS***These guys put new brakes on our vehicle. The next day my wife was driving the vehicle and the right front wheel caught on fire. The brakes were locked closed. She called them, they had the vehicle towed there. They said it wasnt their fault. They charged us another $250 and $50 for the tow. I argued the charges and they booted my car, they said it was theirs until I payed them.

They took my 2004 suburban in on a thur with no appt. had a major electrical problem, Windows, locks, radio, lights, instrument panel, everything crapped out. After lots of diagnosis time, The BCM was shot and the aftermarket remote starter was causing some problems. They finished it by the following Tues. The truck is working great now. Cheaper to fix than look for a later model Burb. They called to keep me informed and were honest as the day is long. Will be going back to them now that we live in Myrtle Beach. Then the fun started, electrical can be a real problem. The fan switch setting 4 and 5 were not working and the vent selector was not working. They fixed it and then the drivers side was stuck in cold mode and passenger was stuck in heat. It was hitting the fan so to speak. Took it back 3rd times a charm. Turns out the work done at a dealer 2 yrs ago on the hvac system when reassembled crimped several wires. They fixed it today. They had to take the dash completely apart to find the crimped wires. these guys are pros. Take you car there.
