One of the best Grocery stores Ive been to. Theres even a beer 🍺 hut with IPA drafts you can drink and shop .Plenty of foods you cant find at other stores, fresh produce and meats. Large Boarshead selections. Just great all around. Also very clean restrooms. Great Job guys

Founded in 1954, this North Carolina established grocer chain offers the likes of large meat department, deli with Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, bakery, produce and the usual array of boxed, canned, frozen, cleaning and personal hygiene items. Extras can be found with The Cakery, Chicken Kitchen, Sausage Works and The Beer Den, with a selection of crafts and drafts brewed local. A selection of wine, beer and other adult beverages are also available. The theme song amongst the grocer businesses is the “empty shelves blues” and this was quite noticeable here. Also, after working 8 years in grocer retail, I find myself engaging in staff contact and interaction to see if staff do engage before I do. I had nearly completed my tour of the store, coming in contact with 6-7 staff, before encountering a gentleman in the frozen department stocking that took the time to make eye contact and talking with me. The young lady manning the self check out was friendly and helpful, as the registers were super sensitive. Do shop sales, specials and deals to get the bang for your buck. Store is clean, bright and well organized.

By far the BEST grocery shopping experience Ive ever had. Where can you get your toilet paper and have a cocktail🍸 🍹 at the same time? Deli, bakery, and seafood is awesome. My only complaint is it can be a little pricey... but definitely worth it. 😁😃

Great selection of items that you wont find elsewhere. Would give 5 stars but the products are much pricier than they should be. Also, their fresh fish selection is lacking. Everything is previously frozen, and limited in choices. That being said, its still a much cleaner and nicer grocery store than you will find elsewhere in the area. Their produce selection is fantastic, and they have a great selection of spices and seasonings.

Web says 11pm. Deli guy said 9ppm. But walked in at 745pm and some veggies, all deli was already being put away. Seafood and steaks were covered. Lot of empty places on shelves. They spread some things out to make shelvesook full. B S.

Lowes foods has the best grocery stores in myrtle beach. They are all laid out the same with great produce, deli, meat dept, beer garden and wine selection. The staff are always friendly and helpful. If you have a Lowes card, your purchase goes toward buying cheaper gas at their gas station.

No masking enforcement; including of employees. Well stocked store. Produce is decent - although some items questionable (cucumbers were suspect). Good baked good section. Candy selection decent. I’ve cream freezer burnt.

Be aware of scamming! 5 items from my purchase had the full price instead of special price from advertising.I received $8 ( from $148 total) just because Ive checked the receipt in the store. The price of whole bottle of wine ! Damn ;-)Im upset not only about their mistakes, but mostly because I had to run in the store with my camera several time to prove to the customer service that I was right.What about you pay me guys, to be you mysterious customer ? If it wasnt your plan to make money of the people who are not checking their receipts. ;-)

After going through the store we only got half the items on our shopping list before we decided to finish our shopping somewhere else. The prices are above average and the quality wasn’t anything to write home about. We haven’t been back just due to the over priced items

Lowes is where I go to get some of these special foods that other stores dont carry. Huge wine and beer selection. Sometimes you can get sales on your favorite wines. Buy 6 get 10%. Wed. seniors receive 5% off groceries. Like their variety, although pricey.

Everyone here is friendly and willing to help you locate anything at the drop of a hat.

The staff are amazing. Some of the nicest people in the entire town. And they usually have the best produce around! Our only complaint is that the meat is very inconsistent. Sometimes its good, but many times I have had to return my meat due to it being rancid. We love this store. I just wish the meat were more reliable.

Love this store. They have everything and anything you could want, all in a lovely store with friendly associates. The quality of their produce and meat is excellent. They also have a lot of pre packaged produce and other foods to make life easier for busy mums and dads that have to cook every night for their families. You definitely need to check out this store.

Im a fan of the smoked meats they offer. Smoked pork loin, double smoked bacon and smoked chicken thighs are some of my favorites. The bakery is good and has a nice variety. A bit pricey at times but they have some unique items. The staff is very helpful.

They need to fix their machines. Continuously declined my card for $1.50 transaction with no cause or reason.

They pretty much have about everything a Walmart has (as far as groceries go) and Krogers. They are a little bit higher priced in most stuff but their meat is usually lower in price and is always fresh. I always go to get my steaks here. For a quick in and out its definitely a must try. Plus they have a bar in the store you can order a beer or wine and have a drink while you shop which is always a good time lol

A bit more pricey than the other local options BUT you get what you pay for. Always clean, friendly, well-stocked with many different (and sometimes hard to find) selections. My favorite grocery store in the Strand. Forever a loyal customer.

Went to the store for the first time yesterday. Picked up a turkey with all the fixings and a few other things. When I walked in the store was so clean and the workers were very helpful. The turkey dinner was perfect. The store is awesome an we will be going there from now on.

Still learning the layout of the store. The staff is very helpful. The self check out could use some improvements. That would probably be one of our only concerns. We wont do that again.

Lowes Foodsis a small grocery store, but they do have a nice variety of items. Their produce is good quality. The normal prices are a bit high, but sale prices are good. If you have family or friends that youre concerned about spreading covid to, you might want to consider waiting until the pandemic ends before visiting Lowes. The Beer Den, a pub within the store, is right at the store entrance. Makes avoiding unmasked customers less likely.

This place is great. It is slightly pricey but well worth it. There is a very large selection of anything you can imagine in a grocery store.

Best beer selection in the area

Cross contamination in the seafood and meat department! The gentleman working in the seafood/meat department did not wash his hands one time between helping customers and packing raw ground beef. I had to ask him to wash his hands and please remove the raw beef from his apron before wrapping my steamed seafood.

I enjoy shopping at Lowes Foods. Their produce is so fresh, and there are so many options throughout the store . Olive bar, salad bar, hot bar, in-store made pizzas and sandwiches. On my last trip, I purchased a pizza fresh made (excellent) and Boars Head turkey from the deli(excellent). My service with both departments was outstanding. They were so friendly and quick. I went to the hot bar, but it was a Lil early, about 1030 or 1045 (2-27-20), and the food wasnt out yet, so I shopped around and picked up a few other things. The seafood man smiled and let me know he was available if I needed any help. After shopping a little I went back to the hot bar and the lady had put some things out but was busy with some customers... So I grabbed a few other things close by. I went back to the hot bar and there was just one lady there, so I thought Id wait, and get some green beans to go with lunch. I never saw the hot bar customer get anything, but they were talking for a few. I moved up closer, and realized they were having a personal conversation. I waited a little longer, thinking the woman employee maybe hadnt realized I was in line yet. The hot bar employee then looked at me, and started asking the customer (who was clearly someone she knew) about another person they both knew. I wouldnt have minded the drawn out personal conversation, if she had offered to help me in the midst, but she turned away from me and continued her personal conversation leaning on the counter like she was at home. After that, I decided that I didnt want to wait any longer on the green beans. I went to pay for my items and had trouble with a few products ringing up. I had pleasant dealings with 2 staff.. Tony and (I think) Michelle.. Both friendly, apologetic, and very helpful with getting all my items purchased. It did take a bit more of my lunch break to clear that up, so I didnt have the chance to tell them about their employees.... both good and bad...but I hope that someone there will read this and pass along my appreciation and praise to all there, except for the rude lady who was working at the hot bar/rotisserie chicken area! I feel like she could use some time in customer service training!! Other than her... 5 stars! Even with the issues ringing up items, and the time it took... Things happen... How you treat people means a lot!

The produce was disappointing. I entered on a Monday midday with a list of fruits and veggies to buy. I bought almost nothing due to the condition of all the produce. Later in the store I noticed Lowes is also participating in the moritorium on Melba toast products. They seem to have disappeared from all of the local stores. None of the staff I spoke to seemed to know why.
