After much searching, we recently purchased a boat from Bretz on Fairview Ave. The entire process was a great experience! From the sales floor...Aaron was great! I went in to look at a boat that was traded in. The salesman didn’t know anything about the boat but he was straight up about it and took the time to find out the answers to my questions. I signed papers on the boat late Saturday afternoon and planned on picking it up Monday. They called and told me they needed it for an extra day due to some issues they found with the trailer that were red flags for safety. They also wanted to do some preventative maintenance on the motor for peace of mind. I was a bit surprised but glad they caught it and it was worth waiting an extra day. Everyone that I dealt with during the process of buying the boat was very friendly great to work with. I felt they went above and beyond and will definitely do business with them in the future.

One of the easiest large purchases weve made in our 32-year history together. My wife wanted a larger boat for fishing trips and we chose the 20 Tracker fishing barge. Our salesman Aaron did a wonderful job getting us started and we finished the purchase easily with Keyla in financing. She even arranged for one of the most affordable insurance coverages that I could find for the craft. The guys in the shop got us all set up with a new GPS locking trolling motor and Humminbird fish finder. They also got me one of the greatest river anchors that Ive ever seen. All in all we think you should shop at Bretz first before you look elsewhere. They are really excellent at what they do.

Great experience buying my Chapparal 21 Surf. They were helpful and not pushy at all.

We purchased a Tracker boat in 2018 that eventually was diagnosed with a cupping issue at the back of the boat not allowing the boat to come onto plane. Tracker company was not very sympathetic to our issues with the boat and getting the boat repaired or replaced. Dennis worked diligently to help us out with Tracker but was unsuccessful. Dennis then made us a great deal to trade in our defective boat for a new boat. I was not happy with the Tracker company in any way, however Dennis and the staff at Bretz worked to make the situation right even though they had no support from Tracker Boats. Because of their effort I will purchase another boat from Bretz.

Everybody was great during my boat buying experience!! I have had no complaints after the sale as well everybody has gone out of the way to help me. So, just purchased a new 2018 Tracker boat from here in September 2017. Dennis and Shawn were great and very helpful. Only bad part of the entire deal was the shipping company taking an extra 2 weeks to get the boat to the dealer so I could pick it up. Dennis actually got me a great 3.49% interest rate, did the paperwork over the phone with me since I lived 2 hours away so when I got there all I had to do was sign stuff.

Aaron is awesome! He has even tried to get management to correct issues. First day out in the boat my husband almost drown as the live well pump had froze and broke over the winter. The boat took on so much water it was sinking and water was coming over the sides!!No return call from the owner to correct ...only the sales man Aaron attempting to get him to call.Aaron should be the manager as he knows what customer service is!

My father had his boat (supposedly) winterized by these people in the fall. When he picked it up this week, he found water in the oil. He took it back to have it checked & find out why this had happened, ready to leave for the Memorial Day weekend. They agreed to check it. When he went back to pick it up, knowing if it had been properly taken care of in the fall, after paying $443.34, this would not had happened. They now informed him it would be an additional $166.50 for the repairs. When dad refused, stating he would not pay for something that should have done in the first place, he started walking towards the door to get his boat. Lou, the owner, raced my almost 80 year old father to the door, went out side & locked it. By the time dad made it out the front, the gate & boat were locked. And Lou stood at the gate.Today, dad went back, checkbook AND debit card in hand, ready to just get it paid & move on. This reputable business owner refused to take a check OR the debit card, telling him, after yesterday, it will be cash only, all with a condescending smile.If you can steal from your customers, including senior citizens, & not bat an eye, you are a ridiculous person. We will go out of our way to make sure no one we care about drives in your parking lot.

Dennis has got to be the most laid back and yet helpful person I have ever met. he will do anything he can to make the customer happy, if that is possible. I ordered a brand new boat and some upgrades to go with. Nothing but issues the entire experience. They mounted my sonar on the dash instead of in the molded mount in the console. They explained that I had failed to order the gasket for the install. Yes, they ordered it and didnt know it needed a gasket. They called and said my boat was ready (two weeks late) and I showed up the next day, boat wasnt ready even though I had gotten 3 phone calls to come get it. Now had to fix the dash and they said I would have to order a new boat. WHAT? Yep, so ordered a new boat and called the owner. He explained they could fix it and didnt have to order another. Got a call to see if I wanted to order the stuff to fix it. Said yes, called the owner again to help with the miscommunication, he said I was not being sold a boat. WHAT? Said I didnt put money down, and he didnt have to sale me the boat. Ended up getting a check for all the equipment I ordered for the boat, and have purchased over at Canyon Marine. Lesson learned, dont go here. They think buying a boat is like a marriage. Thank God that was annulled.

One year ago I had them put in a new starter. 2 months later the starter bolt broke on the first day of a 4 day trip and ruined the whole trip. It broke because they put it in incorrectly. They fixed the starter bolt but instead of fixing it correctly they just put a shorter bolt in which one year later broke again. This happened at the end of July and they did not have it fixed until the end of September ending my summer very early. They also told me the starter they originally put in was not marine grade and made me buy a new one. So now I have a perfectly good starter I have no use for and I’ve had to buy two. Their shotty repair work has cost me a lot of money and time. I do not recommend this shop.

Look elsewhere if trying to order a boat from Lund. Tried working with them to order a new boat for my father as they were our local dealer. Ended up ordering the boat out of state and dont regret it. The person I worked with didnt understand how the boat was to be setup and was unresponsive to email and lost the build sheet twice. You will see the difference in customer service immediately once you call the out of state dealers.

Since it was to long and would not let me put my whole story up I only gave 1 star. Long story short is this. We tried to buy a boat threw them and gave a down payment only to have them promise us a date of delivery which never made it on time. Then I bought in Utah because they had the same boat. A Tracker 175 WT. Had 3 people awesome there and 3 people that lied, and tried to bully us into thinking that we where stuck (and would not get our down payment back)with just buying from them and that was Dennis and Aaron from Capital sales Boats but Bretz owns it. Then there was Donna Sassen from the Bretz store over by the airport. Have all my dates on Text messages. Dont be fooled. As a contractor they can not take your money and not give you a product. So if you read the reviews you will see this on many of them. According to the Consumer protection Act they are there to protect the Consumer. You have rights and can contact the Attorney General of your state. Idaho code 48-603 explains alot. Just know your rights. I did get our down payment back because that law is there to protect you. Also read the owner calling out peoples reviews with Cyber Bullying . Maybe he needs to talk to Dennis Aaron and Donna to see how people try to bully you. I am just glad I know the law. Make sure you have things in writing and on text messages. If they do not want to put it in writing on a date of any delivery then I would personally walk away from the transaction. That just means they will not be on the up and up. Good luck with this company. Hope your transaction goes better than ours did. Make sure read the reviews over at Bretz Rv as they are the same company.

Horrible warranty/customer service!!!! We bought our boat in March of last year with a 5 year warranty. We have had the boat in for service now for over 3 months and when we got it back today it is in worse shape then when we took it in. Dennis the manager has told us lie after lie and now it looks like we have to take the boat to Tracker in Utah to get it fixed accurately. Dont waste your money buying from this outfit!

I bought a boat from these guys and it was and is still a crappy experience. I purchased a used ski boat. They asked for a few days to get it ready which was no problem. So we went to pick it up and my wife and I took it strait to the water. It died only 100 yard from shore. Had to row back in. on top of that the power trim fuse blew. I did not know that was the problem so I unhooked the hydraulic lines and had to wrap rope around the prop to get it back up to pull out of water.We took it back they said they fixed it. again took it to the water and wouldnt you know it was not fixed. took it back again. they had to replace the ignition system. boat ran better but not fixed. took it back a 3rd time. Apparently they figured out that the tachometer was shorting out. Rather than fixing it they just disconnected the tach. I was talking to another boat shop and the owner there said that it is high imperative that the tachometer is in good working order. Being new to owning boats I was taken advantage of I can tell you that. I will absolutely never do business with them again, nor will I ever recommend anyone to their shop.

I bought a new $30K Suntracker Pontoon boat. When we were doing the paperwork it was very apparent that Lou the owner wanted to rifle through the paperwork to get me out the door so he could get back to what he was doing. I was very excited as this was my first purchase on something like this, but could tell Lou could have cared less. Also if you watched the advertisement on these boats please understand that everything that they show in the video WILL cost you extra $ and installation on top of that. The cup holder that Velcros to the seat will run you just under $200 ($100 a drink HA). Oh and one last thing, when I took my new boat out for the first time the tank was on EMPTY! Thanks guys, appreciate the introduction to water sports.
