I sold a car here and was very happy with the service. They beat the trade in offer I had from another dealership. It was a fast and easy process to drop the car off, sign some papers, and had a check show up in the mailbox a week later. Matthew was very responsive and was quick to follow up with questions.
This is the last place you want to buy a car at, they are exactly what they call it Wholesale. This is the bottom of the bucket, the end of the road for the cars they put on this lot. You can find something a lot better at a junkyard than this place
Really disappointed!! I bought a used car from this lot in January 2021, after having my third baby and needing something bigger to fit my family. Within 1 month I spent $800 to replace all the shocks and struts and a balding tire. The motor on my passenger door went out...$400 I didn’t have to replace it so decided to just deal with it for now. About 2 weeks ago my daughter was closing the lift gate and the backup lamp assembly fell off into her hands. Being a 2008, I discovered that Ford no longer makes these parts. Had to pay $250 to order a new one!! Then last week the motor in my drivers side window went out. Oh, forgot about the tire pressure sensor that also went out...all in less than 4 months 😩 after closer inspection it looks like the door panels have been removed and the screwed back in. I can’t help but feel that they knew of the issues and did not disclose. Super bummed!! Will not be buying from them again and would not recommend to others.
We worked Matt Thorson,Our experience was very comfortable and straight forward. These guys are honest... And the prices are marked accordingly. We insisted on having the vehicle checked out by a mechanic, so they gladly helped us get the car there. In the end, we walked out will our dream car, a Subaru Crosstrek. If the time arrises when we need a new vehicle, we will totally head back to this place. Thank you for all of your help Matt!
Not happy. Traded in my Honda CR-V to get a used truck from them. I was told the engine had a little oil on it but that it was just dirty not leaking. Just about walked away from it like I should have. They talked me into it after taking off the down payment. I was really hoping they knew what they were talking about but a month later turns out it does have a leak. Actually two. 2700 dollars. I should have went with my gut feeling.
Alan and Matt are so awesome! the whole team really makes you feel comfortable and at home with the experience and have a great sense of humor!! these guys are the real deal and have made the experience as comfortable as possible. i’ll recommend this place to everyone and will definitely return for future business!! thanks guys for making a first time buying experience so awesome!
Thanks again Matt another happy buyer. We have bought 2 vehicles from him. Hes not pushy finds out what you want. We will be back!
This isnt my first time buying from Corwin, but first time buying from the wholesale lot. Larry Black helped us with finding a good car for us, to replace my husbands old beat up 2000 Honda Civic. Very happy with our purchase, and very satisfied with the care and respect we were shown through the whole process! Thank you Larry!
Everyone helped with finding a car, will have to wait for an older one to come in.
I had an absolutely fantastic experience not often you can say that at an auto dealership especially when you have bad credit and I mean bad credit ‼️ these guys went to bat for me, and made me an offer that I could not resist if you need a car I suggest you going to see these guys before you go anywhere else 👍
Went there knowing which car I wanted to look at. Had certain amount for down payment and a max payment I was willing to make. Richard was very helpful, let me take it to my mechanic to have it checked out, plus let me drive where I wanted for test drive. I decided I wanted the vehicle. Paperwork was a breeze. The man who handled the loan portion (his name escapes me) got my payments much lower than I had hoped. These guys were so nice, no pressure, and made my car buying experience fun. I will definitely buy my next car here, and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fair deal on a nice used car.
Very humble team. Local trade in lot, no gimmicks, no frills. Would shop here again.
5 stars for Alan! He’s was great for us, making sure we walked away happy. And we are! Thank you to the whole team over there. :)
I admit im a Ford fan. But i enjoyed knowing the fact that they care that they make sure that they are selling good quality vehicles. And not sell you something that will end up in a mechanic shop.
Purchased a used car from Corwin after they ran thru inspection. They verified there was an oil leak and stated where it was coming from. Annoying they didnt fix this, but oh well - How much will it cost to fix? They never call me back or follow up with me.When they originally posted the ad, it was listed above Blue book value and stated 3rd row seat, guess what... didnt have 3rd row. Of course had negotiate down the price and managed to save a little money.I guess my biggest issue is the dealer only cared about the initial sale, I had to follow up with them on a replacement part that they ordered and they never followed up with me on the cost of repairing oil leaks that would have given them more money to Corwin. Sales person had a terrible sense of humor and seemed almost vulgar at times. I get trying to build a relationship with customer but sometimes jokes are offensive.
Best experience Ive ever had buying a car.
Thank you for ending my car search nightmares! In March after having nothing but bad experiences with 3 dealerships and leaving Tom Scott Honda sick to my stomach I looked online and found Corwin Ford. They had a beautiful 2012 Ford Fusion at a great price. I called ahead to make sure the car was available & it was later in the evening so I told them Id be over early the next morning. I spoke with Larry Black. I explained what happened at the previous dealership (see my review of Tom Scott Honda) and said I already have financing and just want it ran through my financing only! I got there the next morning my car was up front waiting for me and Larry greeted me! We did the paperwork just as I asked with no hassles, they were extremely friendly & accomodating. I would go there again to purchase a car.
Went there to look at something, and with the help of Larry Black I lucked into a vehicle that I though would have been impossible to get.
Matt is awesome!
Complete waste of time! After car shopping a multiple dealerships and having them offer me so much more (almost double what these jokers offered me) I’ve come to the conclusion these guys are just trying to rip people off for what their trade in cars are actually worth. More power to the people that don’t want as much for their trade in cars but I’ll never shop with these guys ever again. Yes they do have great prices on the cars in their lot but the trade off is you will get ripped off on your trade in.
Nick was very knowledgeable and personable.
A was given a great deal on my 1996 Mercedes, but they really do mean just has to be ‘safe, drive able’ condition in order to sell it. All they did was clean the inside professionally and put on the lot. My experience would have been better if the basic maintenance was done on it when I bought it.
Jeremy was amazing I will definitely be back to buy another truck.
Recently bought 2010 Ford Fusion from Larry Black. Exceptional service and met us at a good price. Easy to work with and not pushy. I would highly recommend going through Corwin Ford Public Wholesale. Very satisfied with our 2010 Ford Fusion.
We totaled my husbands truck last Thursday. And came out to see a truck at Corwin Public Auction. Matthew Thorson has been awesome to work with. If your looking for a new vehicle I highly recommend coming out here to talk to him. My family and i know who we will be buying our next vehicle from. Thanks Matt!
Richard was very kind and very helpful! The team was great and found us exactly what we wanted. Thanks everyone!
Just bought a pickup from Corwin Ford Public Wholesale today. I was thoroughly pleased with their customer service. I asked quite a few questions via email and Greg was very responsive and friendly. In person, I worked with both Greg and Zack (sorry if it is spelled differently) and they were friendly and helpful. I appreciated that I didnt feel pressured about making a decision nor did I feel that I was being sold to. I really liked that about them. The pickup was cleaned up very well even though the sale was in the bag before they ever even did that. I realize that something could go wrong with the pickup and I am writing this review early, but I dont think it would be fair of me to base the review on the longevity of a USED vehicle. They were clear of certain uncertainties that come with buying a used vehicle and made sure that I understood that they cannot guarantee anything. When writing a review, I always try to give one or two points to companies to help them continually improve. My two cents for Corwin Ford Public Wholesale and their staff would simply be to pay extra attention to the little things that probably wont cost them much time or money but make a big difference to customers (at least for me). I was unimpressed by the fact that when I got in the pickup after buying it that the gas level was very low. I realize this is something small but I have heard of other places that fill their vehicles up with gas so that when it is finally sold the customer doesnt have to worry about going and filling up before anything else. That is quite a reach on my end, as far as areas to improve go. I figure it is something small that could have been done and it makes a difference.Overall, again, I was very impressed with the service and I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Greg and Zack, for taking time to answer my questions and good luck to the both of you!
I was looking for a budget truck and they had several in good condition or were willing to make any necessary fixes (i.e alignment) if needed. Zach the sales guy was great - no pressure, very friendly. Andy the finance guru worked diligently to get me not just a good deal on the truck itself, but the best possible financing terms for the rig. The banks were not able to make it appealing to me to purchase at this time, but this is no way a reflection of the hard work and professionalism of the dealership. I would highly recommend anybody looking for a good buying experience to check out the Other Lot for Dan Wiebold and speak with Zach and Andy. Thanks guys - we will be back!
Bought my car from this lot the other day. They we so awesome to let me test drive and have to checked out. They worked with me to get the best deal in my budget. I brought my step dad along who was once a car dealer and a hard ball. They handled him well :-) and im grateful for the SUV its Amazing so will be back for my next car. Shop here they will pull strings for anyone to get that car of your dreams and budget.
I would like to take a second to thank Greg Harris of Corwin Ford nampa. He was very polite and very knowledgeable on the vehicles that me and my brother looked at. I definitely want to recommend that if you need a vehicle to go talk to Greg Harris. Great service and a great experience.
Absolutely hands down the best car buying experience Ive ever had.
Bought my truck here and was very pleased. Salesman and manager was extremely helpful not pushy at all.
Rip off. Sold me a lemon that their own mechanic looked at after a sparkplug failed after a test drive. Come to find out the whole engine was shot. Spent tons on a truck that lasted a month. They didnt even reply to my emails. PLEASE avoid this place.
Great place to buy your next car/truck. Ive bought 5 vehicles with them and will be going there for my next ones.
Very knowledgable, genuine and patient service. Worked with us until it was the perfect situation. Thanks Larry and Zack👍
I would give Corwin Ford wholesale in Nampa Idaho used car dealership a 0 but it doesnt give me the option. My son and daughter in law just bought a very nice looking Ford truck. The salesman was nice and helpful. Got them a good deal. No wonder he was so helpful this truck was a lemon. Who ever had it must of driven it hard. And the dealer covered it up. Supposed to of been completely check over and given a clean bill of health on everything by their certified repairman. When my son and daughter called about all the trouble they where having they could care less. Theyve had to put over $10,000. into fixing it. It needed a whole new engine. Two different outfits told them the same thing. There was metal shavings in the ENGINE and OIL. How could their expert mechanics miss something like that?? This truck has been in one repair shop after another for a month. Here it is Christmas and the manager of the wholesale dealership in Nampa, Idaho has no trouble screwing hard working people over so that he can make a buck. Ive read a ton of reviews about this place and most of them arent good. Lots people having the same trouble. The repair shop that fixed this truck said they have had to fix several vehicles from this dealership and something needs to be done about it.They definitely need to be investigated. They are crooked and dishonest. We where going to buy a truck from them In January but not now.
Larry took great care of us and made the process much easier with his honest no nonsense approach. We will definitely work with him again!!
Parker was easy to work with and I love my suburban
We bought a Honda fit from corwin a few months ago and could not be happier. They were did so much to give us a great deal and the car has been great! We will buy there again.
Just bought my second car from Justin Killian here and I am soooo pleased. Both times my experience was smooth and easy. Spent a total of two hours at the dealership and never felt ignored nor did I feel like I was hounded. The customer service at Dan Wiebolds is second to none and they are honest and their prices are great. Any issues are promptly addressed and I never got any impression that they werent on the up and up. I am a devoted Dan Wiebold customer and cant imagine buying anywhere else even with the four hour drive to get there from our home.
Disappointed to say the least! I helped my mother buy what looked like a nice clean, well kept older Toyota Camry from Corwin Fords The Other Lot. Of course being a used car it was sold as is. But wouldnt you think my mother might have been able to drive more than 100 miles in this car before the check engine light came on? The news was really bad and we spent another $2500 getting the car in running order, making it a pretty overpriced 2002 Toyota Camry! Its my fault, I made the first mistake of used car buying and didnt get this car checked out by an independent mechanic. If I learned anything from this experience, I learned to never skip that step again. Dealers dont care if theyve passed on a huge problem to an unsuspecting customer. I dont even think Corwin did it knowingly, Ill bet most of their used car sales go much better than this. But the thing is they dont care if one sale in 100 or 1000 or 10,000 go bad. They wont make any kind of realistic offer to help. Buyer beware!
Bought a nice car from them over 5 years ago and when it was time to change vehicles had to come back. The service was great this visit, just like the first first for the car.
Great place
Good people to work with
Great place to buy a car.
They did everything they could to get us a fair deal.
Bought 2 cars from them and they did an amazing job getting the monthly price we needed
I bought my first car from these guys because i was needing a new vehicle due to a move. i found one i liked & it seemed in decent shape knowing it came from their other lot i knew there was probably something wrong with it & when i asked he said that there was a small exhaust leak & thats why it was sent to their lot. 2 months after i got the car the ENTIRE suspension went out on me so i took it in as soon as i could at the local les schwab in oregon & they fixed what i could afford. then just last week the engine just up and died on me, turns out the exhaust cam & probably something with the heads if were looking on the bright side. its going to end up costing me more to fix the car than what its actually worth so, i honestly just want this lot to just go out of business. they say they do thorough inspections on their cars before theyre even okd to be sold but its a bs line & i have the car to prove it. Iev barely had the car 7 months & its just about useless. so thanks guys you really bent me over on this one.
Purchased a 2002 Honda Civic. Has been a great commuter car and picked it up for an excellent price.
Drive away ...
Do not I repeat do not buy a car here. I recently purchased a car from them and on my third day I started having transmission problems that are going to cost me $1200. What a rip off. Thanks for the $10,000 project car.
They are great to work with
Nice guys
Great prices
Friendly
Their ok.
