Lunch time seems to be busy. Only 2 clerks for 4 stations with a line out the door. 1 stations computer seemed to be not working. Friendly staff, good location, good hours.

Yeah, so Im not shipping through UPS again anytime soon and I certainly wouldnt use this location. I went here to ship something that I had prepaid for. I used an old box I had that didnt have the original contents in it. Because the box had a white and black diamond on it, they refused to ship it unless I bought a box. First of all, no one that doesnt work for them knows what those stickers mean, second, the shipment cost that was already paid was based on the size of the box, and third, Im not paying for a box when I have plenty at home. They werent nice about this at all, BTW. They were downright rude to me from the word go. When I asked about just cancelling the shipment, the manager actually tried to get me to believe I had to go to the hub! I called and all I had to do was go online and cancel it. They were just all out rude and I wont ship through them anymore. The funny thing is that they lost the money on the shipment because of a box. Whatever.

I have never had an issue here. Ive been using them for Amazon return for well over a year now. Customer service seems friendly enough. Store never seem to be in a terrible disarray. And they move the line if there is one fairly quickly.If I had an issue its the parking lot spaces and how inconsiderate the customers are when parking. Im assuming they feel they wont be long and there for can park terribly. Ive had to wait for customers to come back out who came in after me and leave to have enough room to put my infant in my vehicle. But that does not reflect upon the store in any way.

Be aware of the insurance that you purchased through them is never guaranteed. More than 3 months ago were still waiting on the return of the item that was damaged or the refund of a warranty for $2,000... This is the insurance I purchase only to find out I kept the broken item and then give you the runaround. And when you call the store they say its the headquarters responsibility. This is the last time I use UPS stores they light they still and they take your items.... What a pathetic use of some type of insurance they steal from consumer theyre claims are not airtight theyre all lies.... So be aware when you buy their insurance youre in for a long ride... And the owner Steve he ditches your calls and passes you on to the next person and it still does not get resolved... Very poor customer service skills. And be aware not to buy any insurance because it doesnt guarantee anything...... Youre in for a long long ride 5 months later were still hanging on to no item they havent returned the item back to my sister and they have kept the $2,000 insurance... Disgrace....

ATTENTION!!!! Everyone!!! This store has NEW OWNERS!!! They are amazing!!! Wonderful and the store is super clean!! The old owners ran so many people off, but Ill tell you what, please come back!! These guys are awesome, so they painted the inside, organized it and cleaned it up, it is very very clean!! The staff is ready to help everyone out fast!! As soon as you walk in the door the staff greets you with Hello, how may we help you? They are awesome, the entire crew exceeds expectations and Thank you for taking over this previous poor store and turning into a GREAT customer service store, Im so happy and will continue bringing my business back and tell everyone to head on over to The UPS Store on 12th!! I usually look at a places overall review before going there if Im a new customer and theres a lot of competition around. You want the best right? But I read the reviews at this place and decided to go there. I had a great experience and its under new ownership. The old owner is what brings the overall rating down. Hopefully those customers come back and change their review. Tyler was very helpful and I will be shipping all of my stuff here.

This store was bought out 4 months ago, and the difference is night and day! The new employees are friendly, helpful, and don’t nickel and dime you for every little thing.I brought in a tricky request, and Tyler took the time to work with me so I could get exactly what I wanted. I’m thrilled.

Tyler (new owner) is absolutely amazing. We used to hate dealing with this store and the previous owner. The new owners have turned this facility around and they are truly wonderful. I am constantly blown away by how outgoing the staff is at this store, and Tyler has even been known come out to our vehicle to unload the packages when we have large boxes or a lot of packages to drop off. This store is now amazing!

So, first let me say, this is not the first time I have been to this store. I actually try to avoid this location at all costs. I had to go in there today, and it boggles my mind how the guy treats the customers. Not only is he not helpful, he doesnt want to communicate. The three people in front of me, each asked him how it is going... his response, its going. They were trying to open up dialogue with him, to break the tension. The tension in that store was thick. One even said, super busy day or what? And, his response was something like that. I can get past the messiness. But, the overall attitude and demeanor of this guy, not professional. Some of the other employees arent the most friendly either. I am willing to help teach you all customer service if you would like.(being serious) The way I see it, the only way you are succeeding currently is because people need your services. If another store were to open up close to you, you might be in trouble. Per most of the reviews on here, I feel you should really take these reviews to heart. I gave you three stars today, because you printed me a ticket and were not rude about it. Had I not had my package all ready to go, with a label and all taped up, I am not sure what my review would be. But, based on what I saw through the people in front of me, I hope you take the time to change some things. Keep in mind, we dont all like what we do for a living, but we are the only ones who can change that. And, if you cant change it, then you have to rise to the occasion and make the best of it. If this had just been a one day instance, another chance would be given. But, it happens every time.

Ive used this place quite a few times over the last few months now that its an option for processing Amazon returns. Ive never had a problem! The staff is friendly and they all know what to do with my returns. Its such a breeze that I can drop something off on my lunch break if I need to. Thanks guys!

A million times better with the new owners that took over a few weeks ago. Much, much cleaner and organized. Staff isn’t yelling at each other or the customers. Don’t like the new package pick up process but I’ll live with it to be treated with respect and not an inconvenience.

I Had an issue with a package not being delivered correctly to me. The UPS store had nothing to do with the error nor did they ever have my package and the owner still took about a half hour out of his day to suffer through the terrible call waiting music to make sure I would receive my package! This is A+ Plus service and clearly are professionals. Thanks Steve and employees!

I wont ever be shipping with UPS again. The owner at this location makes you feel dumb by asking a simple question. The employees always quote the wrong prices, and theyre also rude. No wonder this location has 2.2 stars, goes to show the management needs some more training. FedEx has always been helpful. Plus, their prices are better.

Laziness? I have only been here a few times. Reading the reviews Ill have to say most are about right. Sad that if more than one person complains its an on-going thing. & so far no changes. I had a missed package & received confirmation to pick it up there. I know sometimes ups drivers wait til end of day so I pulled up the tracking to see if its there for sure. And sure enough it stated it was dropped off at that LOCATION at 4:15.I went in around 6:20 to pick it up. Older Gentleman refused my tracking number & claimed it isnt no good. And that he wouldnt have it till next morning. He tried saying 4:15 was attempted delivery. Nope. Was at my home at 4:15 and Attemtped delivery was at 12:12. Literally refused to give me my package frankly you wasted my time. My gas and again likely going to repeat today im sure. (Sense i have to go there again, using wasting MORE time & MORE gas.) They close at 6:30 & possibly at his wits end with dealing in customer service? And not want to go in the back and search? Cmon. Dude! You can do better.

I wont be back. Ive used it twice in the last 2 weeks to ship some flu masks I made to family and friends. Theyre insanely light and thin. The first time the gal that worked there was nice (and the reason I gave two stars instead of 1) and put my thin envelope packages through with regular postage...had me write out my address on a label and it cost me $5 to ship two small packages and they went through to my recipients perfectly. Today I sent the EXACT same two and I just like to give my business to local whenever I can so I buy the shipping envelopes at places like this store so even though Im not doing a UPS ship, I at least like to get my supplies there. The guy who helped me (who I think is the owner) made sure I knew what an inconvenience I was. I apologized for not writing out my addresses for him on the sheets they provide because the girl had me write it out on a label last time and I didnt want to waste one of their sheets. He didnt even acknowledge my apology. Man, Ive never been made to feel so small and such a bother so quickly before. You just dont expect to be treated like that for no reason. Long story short, I got charged 3 times as much. Its fine. I just wanted out of there and I wont be going back. Its tough times right now but Im certain another store could use my business and not be so unwelcoming about it.

UPS delivered my package, I stood in line for 20 minutes to pick it up, clerk refused to give me my package because they hadnt processed the package yet in their store system. Waste of time. The place is an absolute mess. Im shocked they are in business. Piles of junk everywhere. Very unorganized. I will never do business with this store again. Postal Source two blocks away is far superior in so many ways. Starting with customer service, followed by a clean and orderly store, and ending with the old adage, out of sight out of mind. The packages awaiting pick up are out of sight, in the back, organized in a manner that makes it quick and easy to retrieve. This UPS store...who knows where a package may be. Its likely in one of the many piles spread throughout the store. This place is an absolute disaster.Second update, I tried to get my package on Saturday, called first instead of wasting my time in line...was told it wasnt ready for pick up. This place is a joke. Finally picked it up Monday after a ten minute wait. Lots of piles of stuff everywhere still not to mention the obviously damaged shipments sitting in the lobby for at least four days, likely longer. Lady behind me in line couldnt help but comment about how trashed the place seemed. Not to mention all of the other reviewers who all independently are sharing similar concerns.

Very rude customer service. Especially from one guy with a red beard and hair. Not nice he was very rude to me. I have been going here for along time. Its the only place close enough to go. I think they should get rid of him. He isnt very nice to his employees either. UPS needs friendlier service. Amazon might be having there own stores for mailing services.

When returning Amazon packages, this is one of the only options in town; with that being said I have never had a positive experience. The employees here are always negative, always complaining, generally rude or unfriendly; whoever manages or owns the store really needs to take a look at their reviews and really assess how they’re managing this facility. On a positive note returning the packages always seem fairly easy and quick!

The owner Mike is incredibly disrespectful and unwilling to help or even just be remotely nice. I spent all day on the phone with ups trying to get my package from this store and he made it incredibly difficult. He refused to accept my package from the ups hub two days in a row and on the second day he marked it return to sender without so much as a phone call or hold period. After corporate and the local nampa hub both speaking with him on the phone he still refused to give me my package. Eventually the hub sent a driver to go pick up my package and bring it back to the hub and I was then able to pick it up from their office. I highly recommend using any other store than this one. This man has no business in customer service.

New Owners or Managers have made a huge difference. Its so nice to walk into a store and feel instantly appreciated. My wife just had to fax a document but the worker was very attentive and courteous. The whole facility was cleaner and well organized. My previous review was 1 star and now its 5 stars so there have been some big changes.

Horrendous customer service!!!!!I went into the store today to try and return some packages and I was met with the worst customer service and poor attitude I have ever dealt with and seen!Reported the store and whoever was behind the counter to corporate hopefully that POS can get re-trained or fired! Debated whether or not to post a review. But after reading the other reviews, I realize I’m far from being the only one who thinks this place is sad. When I showed up yesterday a woman was coming out of the store cursing and screaming. When I walked in, I soon realized why. Mike seemed very unapproachable and I witnessed him being EXTREMELY demeaning to the woman employee who was helping me. She was incredibly sweet and misunderstood something Mike was explaining to her. Mike looked at her and said very slowly and sternly, “LISTEN TO THE WORDS I AM SAYING TO YOU!” I was embarrassed for her. I wanted to scoop her up and take her far far away. I tried to make jokes to lighten the mood, not even a small smile was given from the male staff. (Disclaimer I am not a comedian) With so many poor reviews it’s easy to see that the underline issue is not the customers who come to your store. I’m grateful you were able to help me, but that does not excuse the poor treatment of the staff. If you hate your job and dislike people, maybe you should not work in customer service. Maybe it’s time to move on... I hope you find joy and happiness. It must be exhausting having to apologize and defend every poor review and listen to customers curse and scream at you. I know your job must be hard, but your employees deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.

Mike and his team are excellent. I do not understand why there are some negative reviews. It would be nice if this UPS store charged a little less money, however you get what you pay for in life. Better reliable service costs more.I am going to renew for my 4th year with Mikes UPS store. I have used several mail stores in the past 20 years and Mikes is the best one.

These folks are far from helpful. I brought a high value package that required a signature. Without offering any kind of solution, the gentleman behind the counter snidely remarked he was not a UPS employee and refused to sign for the package. Very personable! They did not have a drop box for pre printed labels so I made the mistake of bringing 3 toddlers 😳 but they had a coloring paper station and a movie on for the kids, and even stopped to tape the cooler pictures up on the wall. Very happy with this place 😊

Update: My last few experiences here have been much more positive. Maybe new owners or different staff? Hopefully things continue to be more customer oriented and less stressful.Do not go here!!! The lady at the counter was absolutely rude and Im left feeling sick after the experience I had there today. Aside from her rude demeanor, she refused to accept my prepaid package through USPS. I’m giving this review because it seems to me I’m always leaving or hanging up the phone feeling like I was treated like I didn’t know what I was doing If I ask about my package being delivered there don’t ask me “what makes you think it’s here?” I obviously was told it was brought to that address. At least TRY to look me up and see if anything is there its called customer service. I wish I would feel happy about getting my packages but instead I feel anxious because everytime it gets sent to the UPS store I’m treated like I’m an idiot. Thee worst experience I have ever had at a business. I went there on two separate occasions hoping for a better experience the second time around. Needless to say I will NOT be going back. The first experience I had was with a woman who was so unprofessional she offended my mother in law by telling her she is better off keeping her mouth shut. She was trying to be funny maybe, but came acrossed as rude and unprofessional. The second time I dealt with a young man who shoved my things into a small box. I replied by telling him we should get a bigger box. No it will fit he said. I let it go. He then asked me to look over the addresses to make sure they were correct once he printed the shipping label. I let him know if the errors and he seemed irritated that I corrected him. He grabbed the label from my hand and was snarky the rest of my experience. I do not recommend this location at all.

This is honestly the worst shipping service location I have ever been to. And that includes the post office, which says a lot. all of the employees are extremely slow and disgruntled. they do not do anything for the customers. At one point I saw an employee organizing the cards, and they ended up leaving half of them upside down. There is always a line, and it always takes at least 30 minutes to simply drop something off. If you actually need something done like a fax sent or have to pay for something plan on longer. It is usually faster for me to drive to Caldwell and drop it off there.

Some of the most unfriendly staff I have ever dealt with. The younger guy with the glasses beer belly and beard has the personality of a dial tone! I have been sending packages through ups for so many years I cant even remember. This guy treats you like you are stupid! I will go out of my way to pass by this location to go someplace where they appreciate your business and treat you with respect! Heres a word of advice, if you dont like your job and you dont like dealing with people find another job where you can lock yourself in a room and sit behind a computer!

The man who helped me was rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly. I realize its the holidays and hes likely sick of busy days, but I will not go back. He acted annoyed by every customer who came to his counter and offered no suggestions to several questions that were asked. The average customer may not have the knowledge of rules for shipping items, and he shouldnt treat them like they are stupid and inconveniencing him. VERY terrible customer service.

I called the office and was asking about what time would an end of the day package arrive and he gave me no help. He pretty much told me anytime after we open to anytime before we close. I tried asking if they could provide anymore details and he got angry, cut me off, and started being rude. I usually dont use them, but you cant help it when you order stuff online. After reading some of the negative reviews here, I feel compelled to write a review to counteract the negativity. Mike and his team are awesome. Ive used their store for over a year and hes always been helpful and friendly. I moved away from Idaho recently, but used a forwarding mailbox with no issues. They even refunded me the left over amount for forwarding after I no longer needed it. I highly recommend this store. Their rating here is ridiculous and should be 4+ stars. I guess more unhappy people write reviews than happy ones. Thanks, Mike, keep up the good work - dont let the haters get you down.

Every time I have come into the store I have been treated as if I’m stupid and don’t know anything about mailing packages. I’m so tired of the snobby attitude. I came in most recently to use my five dollar gift certificate received in a welcome packet for moving. My package only cost me $2.25. And the employees acted as if I did something wrong by spending less than five dollars. I will not be going back.

Worst customer service I have experienced in quite a While. Going to UPS the week before Christmas you expect long lines which is fine, we waited in line almost an hour and that wasn’t even the worst part. We finally got to the counter and got nothing but attitude from the lady that was suppose to be helping us. Then her boss who I believe was the franchise owner came over to help and he also had nothing but attitude. It’s unfortunate that we are limited to 1 UPS store in Nampa because I do not ever want to go in there again. VERY VERY RUDE.

Only UPS store Ive ever had problems with. I observed the guy who worked there on September 3rd around 11:30ish being rude to customers. He also was not wearing shoes and looked rather disheveled. The lady working there was nice however. Only disorganized UPS store Ive been to... And Ive been to dozens acorss the country

The majority of my experiences have been positive at this location. Ive been assisted by the owner Mike a couple of times and he has always provided friendly accurate service. The shipping world can be complicated, dumb and unexpected things can and will happen from time to time, but the service Mike provides will bring me back to this facility again.

There were two women working in this store. One of them (the older woman) was incredibly rude, practically yelling at as before we even got to the front of the line or said anything. She was mad we came to pick up our package, that the UPS website said was available for pickup, she was mad at us for coming too early. Very rude. Luckily, the other woman found our package in 5 seconds and got it to us in about a minute, and she was nice about it. Store would be better off with just her, give the younger one a raise and fire the older one.

Went to shop a package today no cost to me, the gentleman did not have very good sustainer service skills.!! When someone is bouncy and up beat and says good morning it is only common curtesy to say it back!!! I’m not gonna let his attitude or bad customer service get me down I’ll keep on my bouncy note today!!

I wasnt happy when I left from sending my package . Grumpy and unfriendly employees. I paid 52$ to send a package priority. Over 48 hours later no delivery and no tracking information. Tomorrow it will be 72 hours and no idea where my package is.

As I was looking up directions to this location i chuckled that this UPS store had a rating of 2 stars. I wasnt chuckling as i walked out after trying to mail my package. THiS LOCATION SHOULD FIND NEW EMPLOYEES!!! AND IF THE OWNER CANT REALIZE THAT, THAN SAID OWNER SHOULD SHUT IT DOWN. WHEN DID CUSTOMER SERVICE GO TO THE WAYSIDE???I had to give this a review of one star because there are no frowny face review options. If I could give “0” stars I would! Worst customer service! I’ve been in several different times giving them the benefit of the doubt it was just a bad day but every time I leave frustrated and treated poorly. I would not recommend anyone to the 12th ave ups store. I would rather drive across town to the mail room where ppl are friendly and helpful, than go back. If you add up what a customer spends a yr and not just a day then you would know you are loosing profit.

I rarely leave a bad review. But unfortunately my family has visited this store 3 times now and staff have been rude or ignored us each time. The last visit I was so frustrated with the lack of friendliness that I looked at the employees name tag and it said “owner”. I do believe the bad service starts from the top down here, unfortunately. Attitudes are unfriendly and unwelcoming all around. We will drive to Caldwell to avoid this store for future shipping needs.

These people are rude and talk down almost every time I am in this store. Recently I asked how much it would cost to laminate an engineering print and he told me $7. I then dropped them off, no one told me any different. So when I went to pick them up they told me the price was $14, because they were bigger than I told him. I never told him a size, he was the one that assumed a size. All I said was engineering size. When I recounted that experience with them, he said rudely well I have never heard of an engineering size print at that size, and continued to charge me double than what was quoted. After getting home and doing some research there are certainly engineering prints size 36x48. There are several different size options. All because he assumed what size they were, I ended up having to pay double. So unprofessional to give a quote and then charge double. I had several prints, so it costs more $30 more than I expected. They even had a chance to look at them and give a different quote, but they didnt do that and then made me swallow the extra. I will avoid this place in the future.
