Have 2001 Land River Disco that I leave on island to tool around. Didn’t pay much for it but has lasted 6 years, so got more than my money’s worth. Then my drivetrain busted on day 2 of a two week vacation at the end of July. Thought it was a death sentence.Always had to book appointments two months in advance with other Rover repair shops on island (only two) so rented a car for 12 days for a fortune and lamented the demise of my Disco for a couple days as it sat in the driveway. Then I discovered Tim and Nantucket Land Rover while searching on google and saw the other great review and quick turnaround. So I thought I’d give it a try.Tim answered my call and I told him what happened. I sheepishly asked if there was any chance he could look at it in next couple of days. He said absolutely and I had it towed to him. I was bracing for a large dollar total for it to be fixed, but Tim called me back and told me the number. It was less than half of what I was paying for the two week rental. Better yet, he said could have it back to me in two days.I gave him the go ahead and sure enough he had it fixed in two days and it is running better than it ever had. Smooth drive, no more noises coming from underneath. And best of all, it allowed me to cancel the rental - basically covering the cost of the repair.Tim’s only been on island for two years but is a welcome and needed addition. I realize by writing this review I may cause myself grief if Tim gets too busy for me - but I could not let my great experience go unrecognized.He has a loyal customer in me as long as my Disco keeps running.Thanks Tim!

Had my 97 Defender towed it here because it died. They figured out what was wrong with it and fixed it in two days.
