Its convenient, quaint, fast and efficient. Not much charm or character. It has the basics of a tiny grocery store. Was happy to see they have many vegan and plant based additions to their freezers and isles. Their produce is great, but sometimes you need a little Ben and Jerrys ice cream on vacation

Stop & Shop at Sparks Avenue is well laid out, with ample parking place.The other Stop & Shop by the Harbor is small and within reach in town. But there is a jam for parking

What a nice surprise! The old A and P has been taked over by Stop and Shop. Cleaner, better stocked, more registers, meat and seafood counters, and better hours: 5am to 11. In front of the store is a well stocked cold case with sandwiches, salads, and deli food-to-go. The deli has a small but nice selection ofBoars Head meats and cheeses. A great place to shop.

This is a great little store right next to where you get off the ferry. It is clean and if you want a cheaper alternative to the fairly expensive restaurants, its a great option.

The only full grocery store downtown and is what you would expect (in a good way). If youre local, you may still call it the A&P.
