The butcher was nice. Good selection, he walked me through the cuts, and was patient with me.The butcher shop / neighborhood market was clean, people were friendly, plenty of parking, food was fresh, and it was a good experience.I recommend this establishment.

I make the drive to Browns Valley Meats from Fairfield because they are still a Full Service Meat market, with excellent quality meat & lots of specialty meat you have a hard time finding these days ! I stock.up on the prime cuts and other hard to find items!

How great small market. Although I dont eat it they have one of the best meat markets. Although you pay for good service it is one of the few stores that will actually find a product they dont normally sell just so that you can buy it.

This is a great local market that carries things that cant be found at the big chain grocery stores.

EXCELLENT TAKE- OUT PRE-MADE DINNER: on the fly I grabbed two huge portobello mushrooms stuffed with veggies and topped with cheese from the DELI COUNTER>served with the SAFFRON RISOTTO. Heated in 4 minutes, served to 2 exceptionally satisfied family members, and completely turned the switch on my opinion of their pre-cooked options. SEASONINGS WERE BALANCED, RE-HEATING TOOK NOTHING FROM TEXTURE. BRAVO BVM!

My familys market. Nice to have a well owned family market that truly knows great food and spirits in your own neighborhood. The family that owns BVM are great people. Theyve created a small mom & pop one stop shop here, even for the most advanced palate. Its great to see a throw back market again. We will never shop elsewhere.

I forgot how much I missed your neighborhood vibe of this grocery store; its so nice to see Customers be called by their name and exchange pleasantries. I came here today for the cheese department, only thing missing was olives but I also did not ask where they are. I would love to seem more selections of high end feta, but the one that was there is excellent and we are happy. The produce is excellent.

Browns Valley market is a wonderful, neighborhood market. They carry all kinds of specialty foods, and the butcher is one of the best in town. I also love the deli. Lots of different sandwich options, and there is a huge variety of prepared salads and takeaway foods. The cheese selection is also diverse, and theres a great olive bar as well. Produce is a little bit pricy here, but always great quality. Overall, I highly recommend this market.

We needed ham shanks for a recipe. The selection was glorious. They were pretty cut in usable size. This is an old time full service butcher. Best bet for your daily and special needs.

Small market and friendly people. Quality is top for the area. Prices may be above most but convenient.

Great Service from all the staff there. Some of the best Meats in town. Fresh Produce and a great deli department that can make your deli sandwiches for that perfect lunch time outing. Most everything you need can be found there. A little pricey but a really great place overall.

Best market in town. They carry the best produce, have the best deli, great products from the butcher, cheese, and wine guys. If youre in town for just a couple days, this is where you should get your picnic lunch check to take up valley!

Browns Valley Market is a specialty market, on the same thought process as Valligas but much smaller. This Market offers items you cant get anywhere else. They also serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, for take out. Their meat department, is the best meat in Napa. They are expensive though. So this is a place where you treat yourself. Great produce, vegetables, and specialty breads. I love their Sourdough bread. I went there one morning to get breakfast, and picked up some Sourdough and it was still warm. Now thats awesome.

To be honest, I dont know how independent grocers do it. They are forced to charge higher prices because they tend to pay higher prices for the same items you can get at other stores. This, however, seems to mean nothing for those living out in the Browns Valley. Whether its straight up localism or simply laziness, this small, well stocked, grocery store insists on persisting.

Their deli sandwiches are fantastic! I had the spicy roast beef panini and it was perfect

Over priced, great food none the less, but way expensive and the manager was extremely rude to me one time when I decided I didnt want my soda can so I set it with the cashier and didnt have time to run back and out it away and the manager got on my case about it... Its like cmon dude chill out its just a soda....

Amazing. This is a grocery store of the highest order. Outstanding selections, phenomenal employees.

We dont love it. Its cute but way overpriced for what it is. Its as though its there serving Browns Valley in the belief that area is walled off from greater Napa. Oxbow and the other markets around town have everything they have at greater selection and pricing. They could use a trip to Sonoma Market for perspective.
