The fact that this place has a 3.5 rating should tell you to steer clear away.Made the dumb mistake of not checking the reviews before coming here.Got upsold on something I didnt need and was charged 70 dollars for a synthetic oil change - what a joke.Owner didnt give a good vibe and his cheerleader muchacho was very rude (poor guy probably hates working there).Absolutely distasteful experience - do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague.

Went to get my a/c fixed that lasted only two days took it back up there and they didn’t even look at it before they told me it was another problem. Took it some where else and my a/c have been running great

Idk where the bad reviews are coming from but my experience here was 5 stars across the board after trying this place out for the very first time. Service was quick, thorough and friendly, smile included. I went on my lunch break, there was no wait and was in and out sooner than I expected. The car wash was closed but I was informed that I could bring my receipt back another day to get my free wash. I love that my washer fluid was topped off and my tire pressure was checked and filled and I was informed of everything he did, along with the state of my oil when removed. Oil Zone is my new go to from now on!

Went in for an oil change they told me come back in 20 minutes to a half hour. The shop was empty. The guy said the managers on break he went out for lunch.. then he just walked away from me right after he said that. So I left and went to jiffy lube..

I’m hesitant to leave a review, but my experience here was weighing on me all day. I came in for an oil change and a car wash, I thought it was convenient that the vacuums were free. I finished vacuuming then headed for the car wash (which had a self service panel for payments), when an employee came out to my car and asked me if I was planning on getting an oil change also because, if so, I could get a free car wash. I thought that was a good deal and drove into the garage for the oil change. I asked for a standard oil change but was told that my hybrid car only took synthetic oil. This significantly increased the price because synthetic oil is more expensive, but I was considering it since I would get a free car wash and had already used the free vacuums. While I was deciding in the waiting room, I overheard the owner speaking to another customer. The customer had asked the owner if he had received the Covid vaccine - I’m assuming the customer asked this because the owner was not wearing a mask. The owner then said something to the extent of - yes (jokingly), he was vaccinated for polio but he won’t get a (Covid) vaccine because it hasn’t been around long enough for him to trust it. Fair enough, I thought. Now, I know that everyone has the freedom to choose whether or not to get the Covid vaccine. At the moment, Illinois is allowing vaccinated people more leniency in regards to mask wearing - I am vaccinated but still choose to wear a mask (I have family members who are immunocompromised).The owner has every right not to get the Covid vaccine, but at the risk of possibly infecting a customer, I was surprised he wasn’t wearing a mask. Illinois is relying on the honor system when it comes to vaccinated people choosing not to wear a mask, but I still feel that a businessman - who has been around for 20 years - would respect his customers enough to wear a mask since he decided not to get vaccinated.I told the owner I was going to get an oil change from my dealer and I ended up getting a car wash because the employee, who initially approached me about the free wash with oil change, was so nice and appropriately masked.I can imagine the owner will respond and call me a liberal snowflake and that my post will just attract more customers who share his beliefs - which is fine. But for those who prefer to patronize a business that follows local and federal government health recommendations, I would advise them to go elsewhere.

Super friendly staff and quick oil change service!

I went during lunch and there was no wait. It was not obvious from the outside what I should do so I walked in the shop to ask. Mike, the owner, we very nice and walked me through their process. I had no problems with the oil change and got the free car wash.

When in on Sunday morning which day advertised heavily for being open,, the sign said open and the doors were open when I pulled into the parking lot I saw a man moving around inside when I pulled up to the garage, he turned off the lights closed the door and left at 9:10 in the morning

I went in for an oil change and decided to get a coolant flush as well. I found out at a car wash down the road that the underside panel that is an essential part to keep the front bumper in place was not put back on causing damage. Thanks a lot guy. I guess it’s a bummer my car is that low but guess what? It raises up,....a lot more. I could have put it back on if you would have just given it back to me. No need to fix this, I’ll just take my business elsewhere for now on and spend the $70 on new parts and screws and look into headlights since it broke the inner mounts and of course the bumper has to be repainted. I really enjoyed the “we’re just doing our job and the attitude” too. I did that job too, when I was 20 and I’ve been changing oil in cars since I was 13 👍🏻 $160 for $700+ in damage and missing parts. But don’t worry, I wanted to upgrade my headlights anyway and do a full color change on my car after tightening up that top-shelf bodywork after I get my interior redone. Maybe you can go be a cop, they’re hiring, less responsibility.

It was ok. Its the of August hot!!!90 plus degrees out. I get its covid times but to have people wait in there car hmmm. Obviously cars have to be off. So it was super hot. Other than that the guys were friendly tried to be fast. Reasonable price.

This place is awful. I had my oil change here and two issues came out of my visit:1) They did not put my underbelly shield back on after they took it off to perform the oil change. When I returned to ask if they had it, they said they did not have it. The owner told me Im really sorry.2) The oil was filthy and was not filled up all the way. The oil only lasted 1000 miles. I had my next oil change at the dealer and they told me never to get oil from Oil Zone again. I have since driven 3000 miles on the dealer oil and it is still clean and nearly full!

These guys need to be more professional. I pulled up and waited for 15 minutes but nobody attended me. And then I parked my car in the back and went inside to see if anybody was available to talk but guess what, nobody offered any kind of assistance. No wonder why these guys have so many negative reviews. I suggest you all save your time and money and go somewhere else to get the job done.

I brought my Jeep in to get my oil changed, everything was awesome from start to finish, until today the check engine light came on, so I popped on the scanner and a code came up, googled it and it’s due to low oil. So I check, and ZERO oil is on my dipstick. I shouldn’t have to check to make sure you put enough oil into my car.

Im not sure why these people are complaining. I recently started getting my oil changed at this establishment and the service is fantastic! I was greeted by the owner Mike and I told him what I needed done. Of coarse theres always recommendations depending on your yr make and model, but I was never pushed to have anything done that I didnt need. The service was quick and a car wash was included. I spent $30 where at a jiffy lube I would have spent around $50. All these other reviews are just internet bullies, specially the guy with the broken wipers, HA! that was a good one! Take your Lexus to the dealer next time! Im certain if I ever had an issue or a concern about my service I can just speak to the owner directly. Keep up the good work guys!

These guys are the best!! Dont pay attention to the bad reviews about this place!!!!! They have all new employees since those reviews were written. I love Oil Zone! They always take care of me and never try to up sell me, but will let me know if they see things wrong. Plus the car wash voucher that comes with the your Oil Change can be used at any time. I will always go here for my Oil Changes and any minor repairs my car needs.

In 2014 I brought in my ten year old car for an oil change because I didnt want to do it myself in the cold weather. Within days of the oil change this car Id taken care if myself for six years was leaking oil on the driveway and running poorly for the first time ever. I checked the oil and it was overfilled despite making a mess on my driveway. I took it back and the mechanics on duty said ...No way this was caused by too much oil...and a little extra oil in an older car like this is good for it. They refused to siphon enough out to get it back down to full so I went home and did it. Then I had change my oil fouled spark plugs. Car was never the same after I tried to save myself a little effort so I sold it a year later to a wrecking yard. Never went back.

$80 for an oil change!! Thats insane. To top it off, they dont even check the other fluids, such as the windshield washer fluid, power steering, etc. Thats the least they can do fir $80! Other places offer much better service for cheaper and they check other things not only the oil change. TERRIBLE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Dishonest and shoddy. The tech failed to change my oil filter, then insisted he had done so. Unfortunately for him, I have a Kia Sedona, in which the oil filter is on top of the engine, and I was watching the whole time, so I was able to spot the fraud. Who knows how many times theyve done this to people whose cars dont have a top filter? Who knows whether they are even using quality fresh oil in their pumps? I spoke with the owner about it, and his response was that the tech was just trying to get cars out quickly. Not a good excuse for shoddy and dishonest work. And, oh yeah, I was the only customer there, so even the owner is in on this scam.

I had been going here for years with several different vehicles. Never had an issue, everyone was really friendly, and I always tipped everyone. I had to take my vehicle into the dealership for problems with the engine. They needed a record of all of my oil changes in order to open a claim to get me a new engine under warranty. They made a big fuss, refused to email or fax the records to the dealership. So instead, the North Aurora Kia had to send someone to pick me up, drive me to Oil Zone in Naperville to pick up a piece of paper with nothing but dates on it, couldnt even print out what exactly was done those days, and then all the way back to North Aurora. And while I was there as well as on the phone, started making things up about Kia vehicles, in hopes I wouldnt try to go after them for the problems with my engine...that was fully covered. Needless to say, I will never be coming back. Wasted everyones time and acted like some real jerks, all over me needing records of oil changes I paid for.

Weve been taking our cars to Oil Zone for almost a year now. It started out as just oil changes. But one day our front left wheel was making some squeaky noises and they offered to fixed it. The dealership wanted to charge me for brake replacement and some other items for the brakes. Oil Zone fixed it with a $39 part. We now rely on Oil Zone for all our auto repair. They charge so much less than the dealerships. The Free carwash and vacuums are nice too. Friendly, locally owned neighborhood mechanic highly recommend for any auto repair you need in Naperville.

They had an issue with cracking my filter housing. To their complete credit, they owned it, they went a long way to get a new one, and they only charged me what they should have. The owner came specifically to speak with me. It wasnt a great situation and took several hours, but when accidents happen all I ask is that you stand up to it and make it right. These guys did. Now, about the Naperville Toyota dealership who either over-torqued or never actually removed the factory-installed housing...

Wouldnt touch this place with a 10 foot pole. They did an oil change on my brothers car and forgot to put the oil cap back on the engine. He found out a few days later when his check engine light came on because he had bliwn almost all of his oil out of the engine. He took the car back to get it resolved. To their credit they refilled it and replaced the cap, but flat out lied to him saying it was only down one quart. Stupid move, dont trust these guys.

NEVER ever GO THERE for any reason. I brought my car in to change the valve cover gasket and I ended up with a shaky car and CHECK ENGINE LIGHT that would not go away. I was charged 300$ for them basically ruining my car. I came in the next day and they looked at it and plugged one electrical wire that they did not plug the day before and repaired another wire without any success. I am now thinking of selling my car because I dont believe that it will ever go back to the way it was before I went into that place. I am also thinking of reporting it to BBB.

I went for a car wash on my chevy trailblazer. I went with the middle car wash 8 bucks. I figured my vehicle would be nice and clean afterwards, wrong!!! There were areas of my car where i can still see dirt and a white looking film like the soap wasnt washed off properly. for 8 bucks that was terrible. i get better car washes from a 5 dollar place. wont be going back. I cant say anything about their repair shop. Never used them. If the owner is reading this check the settings of your car wash something might be off balance.

Pretty lousy service. I went in a year ago for a brake change and ended up having to go back 2 times because it would just not work correctly. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I went in recently for AC repair. Ive already gone twice and still my ACs freons leak out. I was charged $100 for AC service and another $50 the second time for changing out valves which i was told was the issue the first time. Its just ridiculous.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. They had horrible service/service time and the place is an absolute mess. After taking my car to the dealer, I found out that Oil Zone did not replace my under carriage protector/shield after the oil change. I called Oil Zone to discuss this issue and was very rudely spoken to and no solution was rendered.

I had to go 3 times since the repaired A/C didnt work, they invoiced me $125 for A/C Services, $25 for a Relay change and other $25 for a Valve stem change, the A/C still not working and they want continue invoicing for other parts, look they don know how to do a good diagnostic from the first time . I paid a total of $179 for nothing, since the A/C still not working . Very bad A/C services!

Car wash (they broke the wiper and refused to replace it with the original part since my car is too old (5 year old LEXUS) and it never happened to them for 15 years. It is nonsense to talk to them. I stopped there,becose i had oil package for my VW passat TDI sitting on rear seat.this place is close to my living place.my favorite mechanicks a bit far way.so i stoped here.everybody looked know what they doing,but i been mistaken.i payed 32$ only for change and left 8 $ a tip for a few screws i gave them to put in engines spalsh gard.five days latter i found big oil leak coming from drain plug,its been loosing so hardly.i did check engine oil level,it was max on dip stick.so they over filled engine,didnt change oil filter,becose its hard to reach and left drain plug loose.i wasted my 100 $ (60$oil package+40$ OIL ZONE for labor).after job done like this i will keep doing oil change my self in friends garage!

Worst car wash ever. Had to get someone to manually open the gate cause the machine took my money and didnt acknowledge it. Then since the blower sucks a guy had to hand dry the car. Unbelievable
