Barron automotive is by far one of my favorite mechanics in the southwest Florida area. I still drive down from North Fort Myers to have my vehicle serviced by them. They are extremely honest, and won’t repair or suggest anything that you don’t actually need. They are quick, efficient and very fair on price!The air-conditioning went out on my 2011 Chevy equinox. I took it to an automotive air-conditioning shot because I figured they were the specialist. They gave me a quote of nearly $2000 to repair the AC system on my vehicle. I took it to Barron to see what they thought. They took the time to assess the system fully and found that I really only need a blower motor. They saved me a minimum of $1500!!!It’s so rare to find extremely qualified tradesmen who are also very good at customer service. Barron automotive does it better than anyone.

I almost paid a kings ransom to one of the tire chains for something I didnt even need! Im so lucky I found these guys instead! Car is great for less than half the price! I highly recommend if you have car problems you call them!

DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP ANYMORE.My car was towed, and the mileage recorded by the shop owner himself. There were 200ish miles and some exterior damage put on my Avanti when I left the car at the shop. The car has less that 30,000 so I am very attuned to the milage.The fuel pump was replaced. First the bid was $570 then somehow went up to $790 then back to $690ish after I asked about the discrepancy.I was charged $25 for a full tank of gas. But when I went to pick it up it was on empty. Which I pointed out to the owner, who then said they only put about $6 worth in.That evening after barely making it to the gas station to go home. I looked at the paper work and noted the mileage recorded on the invoice, and the cars milage where 200ish miles different. I called the owner, who was very adamant that he would take care of the scratches and find out what had happened, as he and I had both had the flew for the past two weeks. He was absent from the shop the week prior.I called the towing company and stopped at the oil change company to confirm the milage discrepancy.I called the owner back and he said he would call me back. Since then I left messages and have never heard back. The original owner whom I trusted for 25 years had passed away, and the son now runs the shop. The uncle has another shop, which I wish I had known, becuase I would have gone to him. But the son kept the name and phone number. Such a shame that people can be so sneaky and dishonest. His Father would have never allowed such unprofessional and unethical behavior.

I have been put through the ringer trying to find a good fair mechanic, I had AC problems and I knew what they were by diagnostic and prior issue so instead of me messing with it anymore I had it brought to Baron Auto when a really friendly gentleman aporoach me when I pulled up sweating.A gentleman by the name of Mike help us out and we were back to chill zone in no timeTHANKS BARON AUTO!!
