Went in here to get help with makeup and matching skin tones. The worker was really kind but completely swamped. One worker was all there was to watch the floor, ring people up, and who knows what else. Staff your stores better.
Timothy is such a gem to this company !! I have been to this location multiple times and he always comes right up to me to help me ! He has recommended several products to me and every time he’s spot on. Can’t say enough great things about him! Thank you Timothy for the best experiences at your location!
I had someone help me here multiple times, a taller gentleman who was great at his job. He answered all of my questions about some pricey products I was hesitant to buy but because he gave me some samples I have now put purchased some items from the Drunk Elephant collection and boy have they saved my skin. The best Sephora!
Customer service is great in here, I was looking for a moisturizer for oily skin within a budget and they really help me a lot, both of the person that were there.
I went in because I needed help picking a good foundation for my face. Gabriela was helping me get my color matched, when the manager Glenda, rudely interrupted and told Gabriela to go walk around and talk to more people. I still needed help and had a basket full of merchandise, but since Gabriela was forced to stop helping, I ended up not buying anything. A manager shouldnt be rude to an employee like that, especially in front of a customer. I feel bad for their employees.
Went there on 4/8 to buy my make up that I ran out at around 4pm. All the staff here seems to only talk to each other. I had to wait to pay (with no one in the line). There were only me and other 2 customers in store. I was asking this lady for another similar product to buy for my family too, she checked the drawer and simply said we ran out. So I just brought what I needed and left. Not even thank you, hi, or smile to any customer. Service at this location is horrible, unfriendly and unhelpful. No complain on products though, Ive been using them for years. If you want recommendation from Sephora, I suggest the one at Coconut Point, otherwise save your time and go to another cosmetic store in this mall.
I never had a good experience at this store until now. I believe they changed some of the staff around, so to everyone who has left bad reviews, I highly suggest you go back and see the difference!I walked in yesterday wanting to get the Fenty Beauty foundation. As soon as Josh saw me, he asked me if I needed any help. I said no at first, because I thought I knew what shade I was. I ended up having no clue what shade I needed, so I went back up to Josh and asked for assistance. He was very eager to help me out, and did not seem annoyed that I asked at all. He spent valuable time with me, trying on different shades of the foundation and had me look at it in different lighting to make sure it looked okay. He also sent me home with samples because they ended up not having my shade in stock. Overall, he was extremely welcoming and friendly and definitely would’ve sat there all day with me in order to find my perfect match. He made my experience a great one and I’d highly recommended visiting this Sephora. In fact, I can’t wait to go back - something I never thought I’d say in the past! Thank you, Josh!
Employees are a stores KEY factor in its success and failure. To say the least, every business should strive to excel in customer service. With that being said, let me just say that I had the absolute WORST customer service today. I went in looking for an item I frequently purchase at my nearest Sephora (not this one).During checkout IRMA seemed like she was in a hurry to get me checked-out and forgot to inform me of my points. I asked her if she could see how many I had and she did.I was distracted by the card reader and missed the part where she informed me of my points. I asked her kindly if she could tell me how many i had not knowing she said it once before. She rudely replied with “I ALREADY TOLD YOU!... put your card in” In a loud and annoyed demeanor. She was loud enough that everyone around the register heard. I was taken back by her attitude and looked over at my friend who looked shocked at what just happened.I was embarrassed and angry at how rude she was, I took a minute to reflect on how I was just treated. And decided to let IRMA know that I no longer needed the item and left.Upon reading some of the reviews it seems like employees are never disciplined and customers are still receiving horrible customer service.
I find the new manager of this Sephora to be very customer service minded. I would highly recommend him to support your needs as an advisor to make your experience outstanding!
Great service. Employees help out so well. Very nice selection for the limited space
BAD, BAD, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICES!!!! I visited this location 3 different times and got the same results. Staff is rude, 0 customer services, you cannot interrupt their personal conversation they will look at you and tell you right away they dont carry the product you are looking for!! STAY AWAY.
Not good customer service. Asked the manager if she was busy and she replied with yes, what would you like other employees also seemed to be snotty. She pointed to some products I might be looking for and said she would be back. I saw her by the till just talking with another employee. Other sephoras seem to have very friendly, helpful people, wouldnt recommend going to this one.
UPDATE: I stopped by last week to see Aaliyah. The feel of the store and the attitude of the staff was 100% different. Last night I went back in and that toxic feel and awful service was completely gone! What a difference!!!The new manager Josh is warm, eager to help, and welcoming. He loves his job and it shows. I had a total of three people happy to help me, and I was one of many customers.Josh, a new member of their team Michilia, and long time core team member Irma.
Rude employees, laughed at me, very judging; worst retail experience ive had. skip this place, order online or go to ulta for better customer service.
I went here today and I had the worst service and the employees are extremely rude! My sister and I were trying on eyeshadow colors and one the workers came in between us to get something for another customer. She stopped what we were doing and she was just rude to us about it. She did it very abruptly and I thought was disrespectful because I am purchasing things as well. I just wanted to leave all of my things and leave. The girl extremely curly hair and glasses and looked Latina. I will definitely only be going to Ulta now.
Scheduled an appointment online for 2pm today and even went earlier to confirm this appointment, they said its all good. When I get there, all the associates are arguing about who scheduled an appointment? And kept bickering amongst themselves. Ended up walking out since none of the associates wanted to help me.
I always prefer Ulta where you can always find an employee who wants to help. You have to wait 45 mins-hr to get help n if u get it, u can ask one question n their gone. If I HAVE to go, I bring my best friend who is a makeup artist, 2 match me.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ALL THE SEPHORAS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.I am a frequent shopper at Sephora and have visited many of the locations in the country. Never have I experienced a service like this one. My friend and I walked around the store for over 10 minutes and no one asked to assist us. I was looking for a specific product but couldn’t locate it since this is not the Sephora I frequent. Finally, after not being asked if I needed help, I asked one of the employees and she said, “I’ve never even heard of that brand”. Do the employees not have any knowledge of what they sell? Finally, while attempting to checkout I asked how many points I had. I didn’t hear when Irma told me the number as the customer next to me was speaking loudly on the phone. I asked Irma again if she could tell me how many points I had since, I couldn’t hear her the first time. She replied “I already know you” in an extremely rude manner.I was in disbelief that an employee would talk to a customer like this. Needless to say, I left without purchasing anything. Irma is the worst Sephora employee I have ever encountered and thanks to this, I won’t ever visit this location again. Hard to believe this store has the Sephora name on it. Disgusted.
I hate to be that person, BUT, worst customer service I’ve ever seen at any sephora. I absolutely dread going into this location but unfortunately it is convenient as to where I live. On certain days employees follow you around the store as if you’re trying to steal products, and on other days they’re just straight up unfriendly and unhelpful. Instead of asking if you need help finding anything they stand around doing their makeup and when you ask if they can help you they act as if you’re inconveniencing them. Definitely recommend the Coconut Point store over this location, because there they actually care about their customers and makeup! Sephora is an environment where you should feel comfortable shopping, but the employees at this location make me feel very judged and unwelcome.
A couple months ago I would’ve wrote a bad review but recently I came in needing new makeup for my wedding last minute and being this is the only Sephora in Naples I had to come to this one. Aleeya immediately greeted me and asked if she could be of any assistance to me. I explained the occasion and the look I was going for and she took her time showing me products and explaining the difference between each product. She is super knowledgeable and such a sweet girl. She helped me find everything I needed to create the perfect look for my wedding day. Thank you so much Aleeya, I cannot wait to visit Sephora again!!!!
Sephora out of respect for your brand please close down this store and put every employee on the never hire again list. I’ve been to Sephoras all over the world and this is the worse one I ever been to. I’m forced to go to this store cause I don’t feel like driving down to coconut point. If I have a moment I plan on calling the corporate office to complain. No one here will ever help you find colors or even recommend to sit down and they put it on for you. You literally have to do everything yourself and lighting is so horrible that I have to turn my own flashlight from my own phone to verify colors. Your coconut point store employees love make up and their more than happy to help. The employees in Naples look boring and don’t even have blush on.
Absolutely rude! waited in line while they stood and talked to each other not even bothering to notice us. will not come back
The worst Sephora experience of my life. Giovanni is the worst Sephora employee I’ve encountered in over a decade. Terrible attitude and zero help. I’d say he’s the worst employee I’ve ever encountered anywhere. Stay away from this store. I’ve been a rouge customer for years and after encountering Giovanni will never return to Sephora. Ever! I used to feel sad that JC Penny’s was struggling and tried to support it, but now I won’t even blink when they go out of business. With that type of customer service I don’t know how they’re still in business. Shame on you!
Amazing customer service. Every time I visit I am always greeted and they genuinely just want to help you find what your looking for.
Customer service is horrible ! cashier is very rough! she made a mistake, charged full price for sales and when i asked return my money she was abused and almost trow money. her name is Maria.when i walked in store i had so much stuff in my hands and nobody offered busked, i couldnt find it, no one asked if i need some help.i love sehpora but this store was really bad. my mood was completely destroyed
Ive never dealt with the rudeness people describe but the people working there dont seem to know a thing about skin, especially sensitive skin. Knowing basic ingredients that can cause issues and then pointing them out is very useful, everyone reacts differently but just showing the customer you understand basic makeup/ skin care ingredients really boosts my purchase confidence. you have no clue? well ill likely not buy it until i look it up myself. recommending someone with sensitive skin something with dimethicone should be a sin...haha.I do like that they provide samples, unlike ulta. I do wish they would provide korean skincare and things like bb creams, the ones made here make me (and others) break out because of the typical ingredients as well as being far too orange...more choices for my skin type would bring me to the store, unfortunately I just buy from amazon now.
Looking for cosmetics or perfumes that the place to get it. The staff are knowledgeable and ready to help but on weekends it is very busy.
Not impressed. Every time Ive walked in theres 3 people working, 1 girl is always there and is busy doing someones makeup but it seems like she doesnt even smile. The theres 2 at the register which makes me think they are understaffed. I wanted to go in and get advice on certain products but walked out empty handed and with no desire to come back. Ill stick to the MAC counter in Dillards, even when the girls there all have a client they are working on, theyre nice enough to acknowledge you and let you know that theyll be with you as soon as theyre done. As a side note, the girls makeup who work at this Sephora is not impressive at all.
Went in this Sephora a few days ago and was greeted by Aleeya, she was very helpful and knowledgeable. She sat me down and asked me my concerns and found the perfect products for me I was so happy she also helped me find a moisturizer which I have never used before. A simple trip just for foundation turned into a basket filled with awesome products and she also convinced me to get the jcp credit card so I was also able to shop for my daugher in pennys and they offered me great discounts! Thank you so much Aleeya I highly recommend this Sephora, can’t wait to go back!!
I went in and got my makeup done for a photoshoot. LOVED the makeup, I believe her name was Brenna? I have never gotten my makeup done in a Sephora in JCPenny, but I knew that it was the same policy as normal Sephora stores...just buy $50 worth of product. The product I needed was not physically in the store. What really agitated me about my experience is that the girl checking me out said that they didnt have it in the store, but said I could buy a giftcard and purchase what I wanted online. She did NOT tell me that this giftcard could ONLY BE USED AT THE SEPHORA IN JCPENNY. Sephora online does not accept their giftcards.. Obviously knowing that I would never be able to buy this product. Super sneaky and annoying.
Very very helpful, and if you dont have your B.I.C they will take the time and look it up for you ....every time I have stopped in they have been more than helpful, in fact I wont go any where else but the sephora inside JcPenney at the coastland center mall....Jade is a big help
Called sephoria naples Florida in jcpenny. Before i could complete my question i was rudly interrupted.Employee need to be trained on phone mannersWould rather spend my money somewhere else even if it means spend more money.Rude rude rude
This is by far the most horrible sephora store i have ever been, i have VIB and purchase a lot of make up, unfortunately i live in naples and this is the closest to me, the employees are not friendly, i can feel they dont want to help. every time i ask them for the promotion i get in the mail they always tell me they dont have it, i wish i could give them zero stars. Bad bad bad experience
Dairy is my favorite! She always goes above and beyond for me! Will never go anywhere else 😊
Amazing products and customer service. I hear lancome is coming in March. .
I am shocked at the other reviews, I am a frequent shopper at this Sephora and have been for years and the employees have been nothing but friendly & helpful, Jade, Alia, Monica, Maria are all super nice and friendly, I have been shopping with jade for years and she always goes above and beyond,,,
Associates were rude. Doing their own makeup and ignoring customers.
I was getting a brow product and no one came to assist me or ask for help and when I did ask they just said hold on and went back in the corner to giggle with her friends. Im so mad that I will never go to that Sephora again. Also when my email was not working and when I got home to see if if earned points, I didnt see them so she obviously didnt put in my card. Extremely disappointed
Terribly rude and nonchalant personal. The people working in this sephora does not assist you with anything. I will never be back here.
Amazing makeup
Not helpful nothing was stocked service was awful
Terrible TERRIBLE customer service old time😡😡😡😡
