I have had the WORST experience with UMI Stone. They delivered an unprotected, damaged product to my fabricator. They then tried to blame it on the fabricator; however, there were pictures from the drop off which proved their accusations wrong. I have been going back and forth with various representatives for 4-5 months now and the issue is still unresolved. The customer service has been terrible, if not completely disrespectful. Their employees all seem to have a smug arrogance to them that likely stems from management all the way down. Where this comes from I am not sure, they do have nice products, but if you cant handle your product properly, deliver damaged stones and lack all customer service, the result is nothing, but a headache for the customer. UMI did finally approve a warranty claim (after countless emails, complaints and phone calls); however, they are still telling me that I need to foot the bill for the re-fabrication of the stone - a couple thousand dollars $$$. If I could rate them a 0 star I would. I will never use them again, there are many better manufacturers and suppliers out there now that I have looked. Many have recommended Cambria and I will likely use them in the future. I have spoken with some people at Cambria and they have told me this is par for the course with UMI, unfortunately.

We were referred to UMI by our fabricator. Jennifer was our sales representative and was very helpful in showing us the different slabs of granite and quartzite. We eventually went back for the second time and again she was very willing and helpful in showing us the slab that we wanted to see and with her recommendations. UMI is in the business to stay and grow with the professionalism that they have in their showroom and warehouse.

Last week was my first time visiting this place. It was recommended by a friend and I was blown away by the showroom, the tiles and slabs. So many great options but the best part for me was SANDY. This girl is amazing! She knows her stuff and worked with me til I found the perfect choice for my kitchen!!

I have been working with UMI in Naples for years! They are the best resource for Granite, Quartz and Marble. Being in the construction industry for over 30 years in Naples I would highly recommend them for your supplier. I typically work with JoJo who is exceptional to work with. We are in the process of a kitchen remodel and in looking for granite we were fortunate enough to end up at UMI, and even luckier to have JOJO as our expert, professional. Our first visit had us looking one way, our second we were wowed by new arrivals and our third we were able to make a selection which will be the perfect compliment to new cabinets and existing floors.More on JOJO, she is amazing! Pleasant experience! Staff at this facility were always friendly and courteous when we visited. However, we worked specifically with Jennifer to choose our stone. She was knowledgeable and patient and allowed us time to look carefully at each one of interest. She also guided us skillfully to those that fit with our color choices. There was no pressure to decide on a particular stone and when we came back to look again she showed us the same professionalism as during our initial visit. It was a pleasure to work with her! A friend and I met with Jennifer to review granite selections. I have dealt with many sales persons but Jennifer was the best so far. Picking a granite slab for a countertop is very difficult. It is a personal choice that is hard to make with the great selection available at your facility. Jennifer gives her opinion when it is requested which offers a fantastic unbiased and professional option not often given. Her expertise was appreciated.

BEWARE!! We made a BIG mistake by not asking where UMI stone gets their stone. Unfortunately, my wife and i were blindsided when we found out our quartz was from CHINA. Absolute garbage. UMI is a terrible company who doesnt stand by their warranty. With only having our quartz countertops in less than 9 months the chipping cracking is unprecedented. After submitting a claim, it was denied for abnormal use! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? the rep from UMI inspected our countertops first hand and to our face said Wow!, Ive never seen this happen before! A week later we received a letter denying our claim and saying it was our fault. Were 50 years old and our kids are out of the house so how in the hell can there be abnormal use if all were doing is regular cooking tasks inside our kitchen. If i had any knowledge that this worthless quartz was from China, I NEVER would have had this garbage installed.

I have been to their store twice now. Although they do have a wonderful selection of granite, if you go in looking for tile or smaller pieces of granite, they pretty much ignore you. Too bad for them I just purchased over 3000 square feet of tile and over 160 square feet of granite from another supplier.

For over 6 months we’ve searched for Cristallo quartzite for our kitchen. Jennifer and Schnider have gone above and beyond to show us all the inventory and possibilities.
