Struggling to find a good Mexican restaurant in Naples. This is definitely the place to go. Good food and drinks. Really good service from staff as well.

If I could give it no stars I would. Place is dirty service is horrible waitress are rude. They overcharge if you don’t speak Spanish! I reported them to the better business bureau. Do not go here! There are plenty of other better places then this dump. They should be audited by the food inspectors! Horrible horrible place!

You know its awesome Mexican food when all the customers are Mexican!Fresh and healthfully high energy food!Loved the larger sized Mexican Coke too!Also had a small store attached making it even more authentic.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. When you walk in you will notice in the front is a convenient store and towards the back is where the restaurant is located. You will notice Mexican style tables with Oaxaca decor around the room with mixed customers. They do not serve you chips and salsa as you wait however the waiter mentioned its in the works. As shown is what we ordered. My kids enjoyed the tacos al pastor and the burger which is fully loaded and delicious. I got the chicken tacos which looked more like flautas to me. The sauces were spicy but so delicious and well cooked. They only serve coco cola products and jaritos in a cantaro glass only, you will have to ask for an extra cup of ice. Customer service was friendly and attentive all waiters seemed happy to work there. Overall a good must try!

Being Mexican, it is hard to find a Mexican restaurant that lives up to our traditional cuisine. However, La Oaxaquena definitely is a must go to spot. Traditional dishes and flavors. Does not compare to these other self proclaimed restaurants that call themselves Authentic Mexican. Tortillas are handmade and the food always is hot and fresh. The décor inside is beautiful and reminds me of home. Not only that, but their grocery section carries so many Mexican sweets and treats. Please make sure you support this local Latino business :)

We like some heat from peppers and spice but prefer more mild and interesting flavors. Cilantro, Garlic, lemon, lime, salt, fresh onion. While the overall meal was good we did need to at least add salt. Chefs (It needed bit more Flavor. Wonderful waitresses. Horcharta was good and the grilled large Tortilla. My Dominican wife and I would eat there again.Gringos and Gringas. Go try this place out. Friendly Family atmosphere.

Great seasoning with authentic tastes made with fresh ingredients. If all you want is excellent flavors of Mexican cuisine then this is one of the best places in Naples to go. Only other place that competes is Taqueria San Julian. Either place will fill your taste buds with happiness. Seriously, why pay a big restaurant franchise when you can support local cooks with great recipes? Tasty menu and no dishes to wash at home...its a win win.

I was visiting Naples from Michigan in February so my standards were pretty low. But, the sun was shining and I had vitamin D in my bloodstream for the first time in weeks so I was feeling good, real good. Because of a recommendation from a fancy 5-star restaurant on 5th ave I found myself at the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Naples: La Oaxaqueña. Knowing just enough Spanish to get me to the bathroom, I asked for the best meal in the house from the waitress, and she complied. I received a half of a pineapple, hollowed out and filled with the majesty of the sea and el sabor de los reyes. Highly recommend and would repeat.

Have one price on the menu but charge you more on the bill, food was bland, my sons fries were still raw/frozen, waitress never even checked on us, overpriced and not worth it.

Worst experience ever! The waitress bersin was so rude! she started laughing at me when I said that I wasn’t what I ordered. She offered to put the al pastor tacos to go for me if I didn’t want it ( I don’t eat pork meat ) She said I had to pay for it regardless if I didn’t want to eat it. So I ended up paying for something I didn’t order.

Not very professional with keeping up with hours. Will close on you wayyy before closing hour. Or at least update your hours on google. And if it’s for cleaning, you do that after closing!!

Most of the reviews here are right on! This place IS fantastic. The food IS authentic AND FRESH.Im pretty sure everything here is made daily. You can taste the freshness, as if its made in house, rather than pre-made or prepackaged and shipped.If anyone is looking for real cooking, which Naples does lack because most of the restaurants are chains, this is the place to be!!The only critique I have is the music, its was too loud. However, when asked they turned it down.I cant say anything truly negative! Enjoy!!

Excellent portion sizes for the price a true Naples hidden gem

Food was good and I would go back. But, it was hot inside and the drinks are served in the can with no ice. Waitress did not check on us and ask if we needed anything else. Food is authentic and sauces are very good. If this place gets the A/C and waitress thing figured out it will be a top restaurant.

Food was great, staff was ok but can always be better. Was not told gratuity is already included at 15%!! So we ended tipping on top of paying the bill and noticed after reviewing the receipt. They got a Great tip tonight for ok service. NOT well deserved.

Worst place to order food online. I Placed my order got the confirmation that my order was received. I came to the restuarant to pick up my food and turns out the manager cancelled my order just so they can close early and go home. Unbelievable. What great customer service. Never again will I order food. Especially $2.75 a taco thats outrages.

Terrible they don’t answer the phone if you are going to order, so what kind of business are they doing.

Portions are great. The tacos are not small, flavor of the meats is nothing spectacular but it is quite good. The sauces on the other hand, those are quite tasty.

The food was amazingly delicious. The hostess was so accommodating. We had two in our group who are vegetarian, they made it just perfect for them. Also for the first time the food looked just like the photos on the menu (that looks so appetizing)

It was okay, the meat wasnt cooked all the way when I ordered the tlayuda, and messed up my order twice. The first time I was like okay cause they seemed busy but then it happens again. Probably wont order there for a while but the store inside has some good things.

Good food, not so great service .... I would give food a b+, service a D-.... and they do an automatic 15 percent gratuity charge that you are never notified about unless you look at the reciept yourself .I normally tip 15-20 percent but if it was up to me I would have not tipped at all on my experience .

Its definitely authentic Mexican food I can say that much. Oaxaca quesadillas were REALLY good, and Chorizo taco was fresh. Better than I expected coming into the grocery store/restaurant combo.
