Jay can fix it! Very pleased with repair of multi cd disc changer. Jay is pretty old school regarding service and integrity.

I drop my receiver off a year later it’s not fixed and parts was pulled out of it. He pulled out all of the bulbs and used it for another customer. What kind of BS is that?

About a year ago I brought a Phillips plasma television to Jay to fix I had purchased the TV for my grandfather for fathers day it was slightly used but stopped working a day after it was installed. Jay was awesome to work with and explained why the TV stopped working, diagnosed it for free and ordered the parts and repaired the TV in time for fathers day. He was very reasonably priced and skilled at TV repair and even gave me info on the TV which we found out was worth far more than we purchased it for. Most people would have probably said the TV wasnt worth repairing and would have tried to purchase the TV off me fix it sell it and make a nice profit. Not Jay he is very honest and good at what he does I would recommend him for any of your electronic hardware repair!!

Jay went above and beyond to help fix my broken Mac book air charger, obtaining a part from a friend and soldering it to my old cord, and then meeting me the next day at the shop. He could have easily recommended I buy a new one, but instead did his best to save me a few bucks! What a guy! Thanks so much, Jay!

I brought Jay a Sony SCD-1 with some very strange gremlins including discs not reading properly and the door mysteriously not cooperating. This is a beautiful 18 year old SACD player and Jay was able to diagnose the problem quickly offer me a number of solutions and get the unit operating perfectly in less than a week. Brought in a Technics SL-Q6 direct drive linear tracking turntable that is about 30 years old. Not something that electronic repair shops encounter much of any more. Jay Sobel saw a challenge and rose to the occasion. The tone arm and stylus would no longer track along the guide rope or settle onto a record. Without over promising Jay went out of his way to locate hard to find circuit boards. He installed them and got the turntable working again . He also did the necessary cleaning, maintenance and repaired problems with tracking sensitivity that a previous repair shop could not handle. Jay is friendly, knowledgeable and will persist to find a way to repair near antique electronics that many of us still use. He works hard to set a fair and workable price for his repairs. The turntable is balanced and tracking beautifully producing the best sound that I have heard in years. Thank you Jay!

I needed a board repaired for a 42in plasma tv, I contacted jay, he provided me a free estimate and repaired my board for less than estimated and did it in a day and my tv works great.

Would never consider hiring them again. Broke the TV beyond repair, while at the same time costing me $250.00 in parts.
