Please read the reviews. The negative comments are true. Dropped off my parts and waited for a call when they said the parts should be ready. I never got a call. I tried calling them to check on my parts. After leaving several messages, they rarely answer the phone, I as told they would be ready in a few weeks. Again, never got a call. Finally, three months later I called and left a message and also sent an email stating I was coming to pick up my parts, ready or not. They had them ready the next day. Go home with my parts and realized one part was missing. They never found my missing part, but they charged me for plating it.Its a shame they treat their customers like they do because they do pretty good plating.

Took 21 pieces of chrome to be re done off a 1971 ford ranchero. Dropped March 16, 2020. They never called or nothing for months. I wrote it off to slow progress because of covid. Finally October went up there and got all but 1 piece the rear bumper back. Told me would be done next week. Drove again 2+ hrs from Dunlap TN. To get it nothing done. They said they would send it to me in couple of weeks. Its now April. Bumper has been there over a year now. Do Not bring things here and sure dont pay all up front like I did.My advice is take it to a place in Athens TN. Little higher but heard good things about them.I will never bring anything back here.

Took my antique telephone parts there to be nickel plated about 2 months ago. They said they would call me. Time went by so I went to the store was told they were in the tank. Went back a week later, still in the tank. Went back the next week and the 4th of July held them up they said. Went back today July 15 and the daughter went to get her father. When I ask if they were ready he threw the bag of parts at me and said go take them somewhere else. They were not plated!! Dont go there!!

Leonards did all the chrome work on my 1941 Indian motorcycle, including the exhaust system. The chrome was flawless and is holding up very well. The turnaround was quick and the folks there are easy to work with.

HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT/DAMAGED PRODUCTSI dropped off antique door hardware to be refinished on July 25, 2017 and was told it would take 7-10 business days to complete. Arrived to pick up items on 8/15 and upon review of the door hardware I noticed that my crystal door knobs were pitted and ruined. At this point the lady at the front desk summoned the owner, Keith Leonard, and when confronted about the door knobs and my request for a more detailed cost breakdown of the items he became very irate, started yelling and demanded I leave the store. I stated to Mr. Leonard that it was only fair for me to pay the $125 dollar tab minus the damage to the doorknobs but he refused to accept my payment. His demeanor and body language was to the point I felt threatened he was going to inflict physical harm and so I left without pressing the issue further.Consumers should be allowed to question an item being damaged without the unprofessional and hostile environment that was created by Mr. Leonard.

Nice people...Just hard to get your stuff back

My experience was horrible. Dealt with his daughter, who never called with an estimate and then I had to wait three weeks and they charged me $2, 474. 51 for silver plate pieces that werent worth $500. It is not the same wonderful shop I dealt with as a designer.

HOSTILE AND HORRIBLE OWNERS! My sister and I went to pick up several items and they were incorrectly plated the wrong finish. Immediately the owners daughter went to get the owner. The owner was defensive, abrasive and threatening. My sister actually called me on her cell while the owner and the daughter began yelling at her because she feared for her safety. As she went to leave and get the check from the owners daighter behind the counter (which she offered back to my sister twice), she actually came around to the other side and threw her coffee cup forcefully at my sister as she was leaving amd told her she was going to “beat her up”. Truly the owner but ESPECIALLY THE DAUGHTER are rude and aggressivly scary... as evidenced from previous reviews, other customers have feared for their safety as well. My sister was afraid to post a review, but I am not! I was in the car and on the phone and heard everything. It was despicable how the owners treated my sister and they are always rude when I have brought my things as well.

I use them exclusively to plate feet from clawfoot tubs I restore. Always get top quality results.

Superior quality but a bit slower

Just picked up 2 small silver items that have been left there for 3 months. i was told they would be ready in 10 days-2 weeks. the owners daughter was unbelievably rude and could have cared less that they did not repair my things.
