IAM was recommended to me a few years ago by a mechanic that services my jeep. My wife and I had bought a used BMW and he suggested IAM. Were so glad he did! These folks are great to work with and we feel were getting great service at a reasonable price. We trust them and hope to be customers for a long time.

I have an Audi and its hard to find maintenance places that do great work on foreign cars. IAM has been a godsend and I go to them only for all my car work in Nashville. They even fix things for me that I didnt know I needed. They also have a very convenient shuttle service and text SMS system they use so you get live updates on your. Highly recommend!

As someone who is new to Nashville and admittedly knows very little about automobile maintenance, etc. I was very pleased with my experience at Import Auto Maintenance. They were extremely communicative, both in person and via text while they worked on my BMW. The team even went above and beyond by recommending businesses for certain services that they could not do (wheel straightening). They dropped me off at home and picked me up when my car was ready, very pleasant experience both times. I will definitely bring my car back here and feel really great knowing I have a trusted place to go!

I got Mercedess maintenance service A for 50,000 mile (oil change) here for my MB C300 (2017). The period of MB recommended maintenance service is every 10,000 mile in MBs dealer shop (cost ~$260 for service A). But, it seems like that their service only last 5,000 mile with cost of $160. I made a bad decision. I should go to MB dealer shop as usual. Service seems OKish. But, I dont know whether they use similar quality of oil and filter with what MB dealer shop provide.

Foreign auto specialist. Take appointments. Very friendly. Using them for three years now. Do have mechanics who actually know how to repair foreign cars. I do highly recommend them.

Highly recommended. Its hard to find honest mechanics that can work on European cars but this is the place. I came in to have work done on my Audi exhaust system and they did the work for about half of what the dealership quoted. I will say it took a few days for them to complete the service (they had to pull out a good amount of the engine) but they had a shuttle that took me to work and back, so it wasnt an issue. They communicated with me during the whole process so I could plan accordingly. After about two months, Ive had no issues with the car. Thank you Import Auto Maintenance!

I trust IAM and have for years! If I have a repair issue they will review my history to see if any warranty can be applied first. They also explain the work in laymen’s terms and allow me to authorize. I also like using their text system so there’s no confusion. Cheers to IAM !

I carried a Volvo to import auto to have my air conditioning serviced after more than an hour my car still wasn’t repaired. I was told my air compressor wasn’t leaking but it needed to be replaced and the cost would run around $1600. I decided to get a second opinion and it’s good I did. Once I received the bill it was $350.00 totally unbelievable without any repairs completed. After leaving there shop I couldn’t Keep the car started, and later it wouldn’t stop. I notified Sam Andrews of the problems. He asked if I could bring the car back, not certain of the charges which most lightly be added. I decided to cut my losses and stay away... Some day later I found a new air compressor online plus a new dryer and 12 rings all for $228.00. to have it installed was $150.00. Needless a say Import Auto will not be my choice anymore.

I had a great experience! Needed same day service and the team was able to fit me in when I called. They are truly experts with imported cars. I have a Mercedes Benz and they were able to answer my questions specific to my vehicle and provide the services it needed. You get the expertise of the dealership without the pressure to spend much more than you what you expected. I will def. be back! Also they have a great waiting room with WiFi, coffee, and water!

Sam and his team are the best. Always let me know what service is recommended and what can wait so you can budget accordingly. I have been a customer for 15+ years and will only buy vehicles I can take to Import for service.

These folks have been here for a long long time. Why? Because they are THAT good. Ive been taking my cars to them (BMW, Saab, Mitsubishi) for well over 10 years now. They are honest, reliable and trustworthy. Seriously, if you arent using them to service your vehicles then you are wasting time and money. Take you car there. Do it. Can’t say enough about how good these guys were. Art was amazing helped me out with everything I needed. I got some bad fuel from a convenience store they were able to prove that’s what happened and my car is running great. Just a good all-around experience these guys are trustworthy, if you want your car fixed I don’t want to have to worry about getting schemed this is the place to be. Thanks guys for the help.

Very impressed with the level of customer service, transparency, and quality of work performed. I had a brake line and right front ball joint that needed fixed ASAP, and Art and crew took care of me right away. They also mentioned I had a few other issues and we put them in order of urgency of repair...it was nice not to be coerced to treat an issue immediately that was minor. The best part is that they followed up a day or so later after their work to make sure I was happy with the work. Thats a nice touch of customer service in an era where that is in decline. Highly recommend and Ill be in touch when the next issue comes down the road!

These were the best mechanics I have ever been to. I took a 2013 Subaru WRX in for a possible gasket leak, clutch replacement and new brakes. They gave me a very competitive quote on the brakes and gasket replacement then told me the clutch still had life left in it and did not need replacing. Very honest staff with a quick turn around and their text message updates were very convenient to read and respond to.

I took my car here a few months ago for an oil change. They have a shuttle service which is nice but a screw from one of my tires splash-guard is missing and its clear that they gave/sold my number to telemarketing agencies because Ive been getting auto-related robocalls since my appointment.

HONEST MECHANIC!! It is abundantly clear that these guys ONLY have the customers best interest in mind. So blessed to have found them. Being uncertain about you mechanics honesty or ethics is the worst part of needing car work, but its all straight shootin and kindness over here at IAM. Theyll give you a ride! Comfortable waiting room, good reception, all that. I will never take my car anywhere else in Tennessee for as long as I live.

IAM provides excellent and friendly service. They perform free inspections and have decades worth of knowledge on hand about your autos maintenance. They provided me with a ride to work and delivered text updates while my car was being serviced. Not only will they perform the required service at your discretion but they will also recommend any additional service/parts so that you can have peace of mind after the work is done. The work done on my car also came with a 2 year/24k mile warranty on top of everything else. Art and Sam are great and I would give 10/10 stars if possible!

Lori Garrett is THE REASON I have my oil changes and servicing done here. She explains things to me, makes me feel welcomed, and quite frankly she educates me on how my car works. If I need a Service Advisor for my high end automotive business, I would choose Lori Garrett-if her salary isnt $100K/year, then let the bidding begin for knowledge, skills, and abilities.

The best thing about them is that you can totally trust them to give an accurate diagnosis of the problem, then do only the work needed, and do it really well. These guys rock! They worked on my son’s older Audi and helped us get it up and going. Most recently I had my wife’s Volvo XC90 towed over thinking the job was gonna take a week or two and lots of money. Instead they surprised me big time with a 24hr turnover and the bill was much less than I anticipated. We were even able to put the towing charge on the bill and pay it all at the same time. Because of the money we saved on that project, we’ll be able to get more done on the car. We love their texting service, their overall customer service and their willingness to work with us and not look for every way to get more money out of us. I highly recommend Import Auto!

IAM is a GREAT locally/family owned repair facility. Everyone is extremely friendly - Lori, Sam, Michael. Work is performed in an expert manner. If for any reason problems develop, they will fix it - with a smile. These folks do things right the first time. We have taken our cars there for years. I give them my highest recommendation.

This is the best maintenance shop I have ever used. They have done work on two of my cars and, in both cases, have gone above and beyond to fix what I would consider to be unusual issues. One issue (intermittent, loud squeaking sound) was very difficult to diagnose and I was essentially told by multiple other shops not to bring it in because they wouldnt be able to pinpoint the problem. IAM took the car until they figured out exactly what was wrong and fixed it for a fair price. They were highly communicative throughout the process. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent job. They troubleshoot and fixed in 4 hours what another shop could not do in 4 days. Will be taking my cars back to them in the future for all my service needs.

Our family was on a road trip from Texas to the Smoky Mountains and figured out that we had a bad alternator in Nashville last week. Being from out of town and not having very many options, we took our 2006 Honda Pilot to IAM. We felt fairly confident about getting good service at first; however that quickly changed. When they called to tell us the trouble with our car, we were told our wipers were “completely shot” when we had in fact had them replaced at an oil change right before the start of our trip. They were also vague about the cost of the repair, saying it would cost “$660 plus the cost for the new battery” and when we arrived to pick up the car, this amount ended up meaning $987. For a new battery and alternator this is literally highway robbery. While they were outwardly very polite and did in fact complete the repair in a timely manner (one day), the way they went about doing business and taking advantage of an out-of-town family on vacation was disappointing.

We have been taking our cars to IAM for years. They are truthful & friendly. They never let us down!

I feel confident that when they tell me that my car needs a particular service, it needs it, and that they are not performing expensive unneeded work. I have a 2006 BMW 325ci convertible with 80.000 miles on it, thanks to Import Auto Maintenance, it runs like new.

I would never use another repair/maintenance shop. IAM is not the cheapest and not the most expensive. They provide excellent value for their pricing. And they guarantee their work. I dont know of another company that does that. They give you a firm estimate and never start work until you have approved. I have been using them for at least 6 or 7 years and have yet to see a new employee. That speaks volumes to me. The owners, Nelson and Liz, always come out to speak to me if they are there. Recently, Sam was able to diagnose my Passats problem over the phone and tell me what it would cost to repair. I was finally able to save up the money to go in, and it was repaired in one hour at the exact price he quoted me. I highly recommend IAM!!

Ive been going to IAM for about two years. Lori, Nelson, Sam, Michael, and all of the staff are a bunch of rock stars! They always fit me in even when my emergency isnt a real emergency. They professionally explain what needs to be done and give me options to fit my budget and my needs, truly asking the questions about any hesitation I may have. True professionals! If/when they have made a mistake, they fix it (this has happened once - super minor, I mean they are human). I have been intimidated by mechanics in the past since I am not the most car savvy individual, but I dont feel that way when I do business with the great folks at IAM. I will continue to go there and recommend them too!

I had cam sensor and ebrake problems with my Mercedes. The dealership told me they needed to replace the brakes and I thought the cam sensors had to be replaced too. But these guys at IAM told me it was just an oil and lubricant issue and thats all they billed me for. Ive never had anything but good experiences from these guys.
