Currently on a road trip from up north to down south and I had some really bad screeching coming from my rear brakes. I wasn’t sure who to call on such short notice and everything other shop wouldn’t even take us. Thankfully a man named Doug said they were booked but if we brought it by and we’re patient they could maybe get us in. Brought it in at 8 o clock and they had us in by 8:45 and back on the road by 11. I highly recommend this place. All their staff was friendly and they got me good to go on such short notice.

I was on a trip to Nashville for an important surgery my dad was gonna have and we had some serious brake issues. Fortunately I was able to roll into to MvcDuffee and leave it with them. The next day they had it all fixed up and ready to go. They saved me a ton in extra car rental days and the price was very fair. Couldnt recommend them enough.

I went with these guys to get my wheels balanced. I saw the good reviews online and decided to give them a try- I am happy with my decision. They were extremely courteous on the phone when I explained what I wanted. When I visited the location, the staff at the desk took time to explain the different kinds of services (balancing versus wheel alignment) and guided me to the appropriate service I needed. They never tried to push me into getting a service that I didnt need. They gave me an estimate on the cost and how long it would take, and it was done within the price and time initially quoted. Great experience overall.

Every once in a while my mind is blown at how easy life can be when you do business with the right people. Mcduffee is good business and good people. Tire light came on so I just stopped by since we’d bought the tires from here. They told me to pull the car around and checked the tire pressure. Found a hole, patched it up, wham bam thank ya ma’am I’m out in 5 mins fixed up, no charge. They do it right! Thankful for the friendly service.

HIGHLY recommend McDuffy after my latest experience. I accidentally drove into the median in front of the shop while looking for oncoming traffic. They immediately pulled my car in the garage and offered to drive me home. There was a reasonable amount of damage to my car, but they quickly got an estimate together and got me back on the road in a week and a half. Nice, honest folks over there who do quality work at reasonable prices.

They did great work on my truck, but had me bring my truck at 7: 30 and kept me waiting 4 and 1/2 hours when they knew I was at a coffee shop nearby..

They may cost a little more than some other places, but they are worth it. They give it to you straight. They said that my AC compressor was dying, but they made sure that they were NOT telling me to replace it today while it still had enough life in it to get through the rest of the year. Loyal customer for 10 years and counting. Also, top-notch social distancing standards. Love you all!

We’ve been going here for years. Honest, quality work, very friendly and straight forward customer service, and as an LGBTQ person, my wife and I have always felt welcomed. We go here for tires, AC issues, that time two mice got into my air vent, and when my glove box needed panels and reattached, not to mention oil changes and regular maintenance. Five stars!

This place was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! I own my own Crane repair business and did not have time to do my right front hub on my truck that had just gone out on a business trip in Nashville TN. I call these guys on the phone they said that they could get me in right now and get it done for me, and they did exactly that. Their Chevy guy is absolutely awesome !!! He had me in-and-out in 35 minutes !! Unreal !!! I give you all 10 stars if I could !! Keep up the great work !! And by ALL means hang on to that Chevy guy... He is a BEAST !!!

Amazing staff and service. I called in at 10am with an issue with my vehicle, dropped it off at noon and it was ready for me at 4:30pm!They accurately diagnosed the issue and addressed it. Theyre slightly pricier than the other service centers, but theyre extremely reliable and I would go back to them without a doubt!

Its difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic. Ive worked with these folks several times on different vehicles and they have always been straightforward with me and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

I brought my pop up camper in to have the wheel bearings packed before a trip to Montana. Long story short, wheel assembly needed to be replaced, it was totally shot. They texted pictures of the situation. Since my camper was older, it took awhile to find the parts, but they found them. Outstanding service. Kept my camper indoors the entire time. Definitely recommend.

I came in today with a screw in my tire. I had my 2 year son with me and they were able to remedy the situation in less than 15 minutes. They were honest with me and told me the screw hadn’t punctured the tire, and they removed it for me at no charge. I’ll definitely be back for any future tire service.

This is my go to mechanic shop in town. They have a great reputation and deservedly so. I cant say theyre cheap but thats to be expected in a town like Nashville.Ive found them to be honest and upfront in my dealings with them. When I took my truck to the shop, they regularly communicated with me about what they were doing to it and they also gave me advice about what I should and shouldnt have fixed (my truck is pretty old so theres no reason to do too much to it). They were straight up with me and I never felt like they were taking advantage of me.Most importantly, they fixed my vehicle and so far, their repairs have held up well. I didnt make an appointment and it took them a full day to make all of the repairs that needed to be made. I was happy with the turnaround time.Id definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trusty and reliable mechanic in town.

I am a woman. I took my 2015 Suburban to a dealership for new brakes. Dealership quoted me 1200K for new brake pads & rotors including front & back. They said the backs weren’t as bad as the front but still needed to be done. This was strictly for brake pads & rotors. My brother & father both referred me to Doug. They evaluated my vehicle. He estimated that I have approx. 10k more miles on the back brakes so there is no dire need to get them replaced. He replaced the front including new rotors for basically 1/3 the cost the dealership quoted me. I felt like the dealership was trying to take advantage. Honest as you could hope for in an auto shop! This review is long overdue. When I moved to Nashville 4 years ago, the car I drove here died about a week later. I panicked, not having the funding to get another car and I took it to McDuffee because it was near my job and had great reviews. Im a single woman who doesnt have deep knowledge of cars beyond the basics, but they told me that they did not think the car was worth putting the money into, that with the shape it was in, it could end up costing me $3k or more and they didnt feel right taking my money. I ended up getting financing for a newer car and have been sending everyone I know that needs vehicle repairs or tires to them.I was recently told by a quick oil change place that my oil pan gasket was leaking and I needed to keep an eye on it, that on a scale of 1-10, it was a 2 so it wasnt critical, but I needed to eventually have it fixed. That was several months ago, so I called McDuffee asking to have it looked at, concerned it needed fixing since I have zero idea how quickly a 2 leak becomes a 10 leak. After talking to Doug, and his asking some questions about what my car is experiencing, he felt that I did not need to come in at this time and to keep monitoring the situation until Im seeing visible indicators of a leak, which I am not seeing at present.These people could have taken me for a ride both times and I wouldnt have known any better, but they have such integrity and decency that they tell it like it is, even if it doesnt benefit them. Thats why Ill always be a loyal customer as long as I reside in Nashville.

They fixed a screw in my tire the same day I called. They told me what time to be there so I wouldnt have to wait long. They were extremely nice and had it fixed in no time. It was my first time there and they will be my go-to tire shop in the future.

I brought my car to McDuffee because of the reviews, and Im glad I did. I noticed the tire pressure light on my new car, and thought I had run over glass or something else sharp. But, that didnt happen. The pressure is just a lot more sensitive now on newer cars. The staff added some more air, explained this to me, and sent me on my way - no charge. Very grateful. This is where you should go for service!

I will never take my vehicle anywhere else! I took my car here for the first time today because I was told I needed an alignment, tires rotated and balanced, and a rusted fuel line that was of immediate concern.I made an appointment to get the alignment and rotation/balance taken care of and the fuel line evaluated. Turns out my tires just need to be replaced, so they did not waste my time and money doing the alignment/rotation/balance. We picked out tires, and they are getting them on for me right away tomorrow!They still put my car up to look at the fuel line even though we decided not to do the other services, and we found that it’s not an immediate concern at all and is hardly rusted! They even showed me! On top of that, they didn’t even charge me for looking at my car since we didn’t do the alignment and rotation/balance. I could not be happier! They definitely could have just done all of those unnecessary things and took my money, but they were incredibly kind and honest instead. I will never take my car anywhere else!

I am a 22 year old female who knows absolutely nothing about cars. I came in to McDuffee with my AC not working and a slow leak in my front passenger tire, and I assumed I would also need to replace the other front tire because it was old. One of the men looked at my car and told me I would only need to purchase one tire if they rotated the others around, and I was so grateful for that! Then, he checked my AC and told me the repair would cost around $1,000. When he saw my shocked expression he then openly told me he did not think my car was worth that kind of investment (its totally not!) and asked if I would be willing to sweat it out for the summer and advised that I sell the car in the Spring. I truly appreciated his honesty and he even cut the cost of labor to look at the AC in half! I have been to plenty of other mechanics and tire places over the years and, seeing how young and naive I am, they have walked all over me. As someone new to Nashville, I am so glad I have found an auto service center that I can trust to treat my wallet like their own!!

I came in with a busted heater core that leaked all of my antifreeze inside the car on the passenger side floorboard. They couldve just told me it needed to be replaced which is between $500-$1000 but they have me an even cheaper option of bypassing it all together. They even went the extra step to clean up the puddle of antifreeze on the floor. They were very friendly and interested in saving you money.

This use to be one of the best repair and tire shops in town.....when Garry McDuffee was managing it but its gone down hill fast since he is no longer there. I took 4 tires in to be mounted and balanced on a Monday morning when they opened and three days later they were still not ready. I went to pick them up to take them someplace else, they were buried under a pile of truck tires. For some reason they cant keep good mechanics and are way understaffed. Ive been going there 25 years but will not go back.

This may sound silly, but I have never felt more cared for by an auto shop before. Typically when I go to a mechanic for one thing, I come out with 10 more problems and hundreds of dollars in repairs, but that is not the case with McDuffee. They are very honest and give advice as if theyre giving it to their own family. I highly recommend them and will never take my car anywhere else as long as Im in Nashville!

I have been a loyal customer with the McDuffee family for over 10 years. They are family owned and family run. The customer service is above and beyond and they are HONEST. In the past, other companies have given me quotes for ridiculous amounts of money to fix issues with my car that were nonexistent. I always found myself right back at McDuffee where I would learn that these issues were either fabricated, overpriced, or on one occasion a simple reset (free vs the $1500 quote I received from another tire service). I have driven the same car for 12 years and have never had to put much into it ... McDuffee takes care of all of my automotive needs and my car continues to drive like a dream! I will never go anywhere else and neither will my family or friends. Hands down the best service in Nashville!

Good tires, bought 4 Assurance tires, quiet tires, drive well in the rain but when i went to get my first rotation done 3 months later, I was told the lug nuts were messed up where they had been either over torqued or had used the wrong size socket. The aluminum wrap on the lug nuts was so messed up i will have to replace all of my lug nuts now. Not happy with the tech who installed my tires at McDuffies.

Had a nail in my tire just hours before a business trip driving to Atlanta. Pulled into McDuffee and found myself talking to the owner immediately. I explained my concern about the tire and within 5 minutes he had a man on it. I barely got seated in the waiting room when he called my name. Hey Bob, it was in the tread and did not puncture the tire! We got you ready to go . I walked up to the counter and he informed me there would be no charge. Honest local business we need more of!! I will buy all tires and have future services done here at McDuffy. 5 stars!!

Mcduffee Tire has been my favorite place to take my cars for the last 20 years. They have always been up front and honest with me and my wife. Wasn’t able to help us with our tire because we called right before closing, which was our fault, we are from out of state. But he was super helpful and recommended other places and gave us plenty of good information!
