I visited this location yesterday afternoon and there is a lot of everything on the salvage lot, from toilets, claw foot tubs, old solid brick that would be great for a sidewalk or patio, trim, wrought iron, while there I noticed some antique iron fencing, whirlpool tubs, stoves, refrigerators, sinks, doors and windows, more and more. This is a large salvage yard with everything you can imagine. The staff seemed friendly and willing to help find what I needed. Its worth the trip just to see the variety of things they have.
This is the place to go if you are remodeling or just looking to repurpose. There is anything and every thing you can imagine, from claw foot tubs and pedestal sinks, miles & miles of toilets. Lots of bricks, trim, and doors everywhere. the staff was friendly and willing to help and what I purchased I felt like it was a bargain for me. I purchased a 5 panel door to make a headboard and it turned out great. It is well worth the trip just to look around, the day I went they were busy because it was warm outside and it was nice to walk around and look.
They have too much. (weird to complain about too many options, I know) but they are packed in too tightly that you only really see about 20% of what they have. Not to mention all prices are the same (even for crappy/busted doors) All prices are non-negotiable. I would wager to say that if they lowered their prices, they could probably move product quicker and allow you to see their inventory easier.
Haileys is like going on a treasure hunt. There is a lot of merchandise outside and some is in buildings, the best time to go is on days when it is not raining, the pricing varies depending on what it is, like the claw foot tubs start @ $250.00 and go up from there. They have everything you can think of from tubs and toilets to cabinets, brick, ironwork, and lots of doors and windows. There is so much to look at it is mind boggling. The staff seems nice and willing to help you find what you are looking for but is it just nice to look around on your own.
After you have looked around the yard a couple of times (it takes a while!) you begin to know kind of stuff they would likely have. I have found their prices to be good for the things I have wanted to buy.
Huge inventory, but their prices are so bad, its no wonder they have a ton of stuff. Unwilling to negotiate. Lots of neat stuff to look at, but you definitely wont find any deals.
Lots of stock but they charge like new prices. Its ridiculous. The old man is willing to make a deal but the lady that works there is rude and completely unrealistic about her prices
Way over priced. this guys not interested in moving items. the place would be packed if he knew how to run it. instead its over packed with junk the guy wants too much money for. no wonder theres never any customers.
Great place for odds and ends.
This is the place to go if you are restoring a old house or need to do repairs on a tight budget.
Awesome place to shop
