I visited Freeland Chevrolet near Nashville to verify if a 2017 Volt was still in their inventory. No one would verify that for me on line, so I visited in person. I think this is the first car dealership that did not jump on me the minute I entered their door. In fact, NO ONE at the dealership said a single word to me, so I left and went home.

When I arrived I was met instantly by Johnny who was friendly and very helpful. I explained why I came in and he discussed what service would be performed. I waited for my vehicle and within 1 hour my vehicle was ready and Johnny explained what had been done. Great service.

First when I showed up, no one was at the desk. Waited about 5 minutes before a ticket writer showed up. When they did I had to repeat several times that I wanted the oil and fuel filter changed. Asked about tire rotation and balance, they stated that they could not balance the tires. He then proceeded to tell me what was involved in tire balancing. Not needed dude if you dont have the machine. The scan tool would not align correctly into the connector so he had to input info by hand. Seemed to really put him out. The estimate was 40 dollar less than the bill. When I picked my truck up, one person was on her phone the other was not around. I had to walk up to her to get her to put down her phone to greet me. My original ticket writer showed up and presented me with the bill. By that time I was so discussed I didnt trust that they had even done the service so I asked and was granted permission to pull the truck onto a flat surface, inside the building so I could check their work. The tech did clear the oil percentage on the display, but did not clear the fuel filter life.I have just moved here in February. At my old dealership I have purchased 3 pickups, and 4 cars from them. All GM products. When they were serviced, I was greeted by the service writer at my vehicle. The estimate was almost spot on, and the vehicle was washed. I never had to guess if the service had been done properly. I buy vehicles from dealers I trust to take care of me. I do not trust your dealership at this time.

I’ve been dealing with Freeland for over 5 years but this new management is trash! They gave my recall parts away after bringing my car to be repaired 3 times and have yet to call me to reschedule almost 4 months later! I don’t know what has happened to their amazing service they use to provide but they need to find it and get it together!! #itsthehorriblecustomerserviceforme

On 10/25/21 I called Freeland to confirm that a vehicle they had listed on their website was available and on site for me to look at and test drive. I drove ONE HOUR to go to the dealership. When I arrived they told me the car had not even arrived at the dealership yet. So I asked them to let me know when it arrived and I would come back. The salesman told me it would be on site by 10/27/21.I texted the salesman on 10/27/21 and asked if it was there. He replied that it would be there by 10/29/21. So I texted him again on 10/29/21 and got no response at all. I texted him again on 11/4/21 and got no response.At this point youd think I would have realized they dont have their act together and moved on. But I called the dealer again on 11/4/21 a few hours after not getting a text response from the salesman. The car I was interested in was still on the website. I spoke to a different salesman and explained the situation and he said the car was still in the system. He said we was going to go right away and speak to the sales manager and put his eyes on the car and call me back to let me know for certain that the car wa there and available for a test drive.It is now 6 hours after he was supposed to call me back right away and I havent heard from him, the sales manager, or the original salesman.The good news, I just returned from another dealership with a different car that I purchased from the other dealer.They obviously dont care about customer service and do not honor their word.

When I felt uncomfortable leaving my brand new car at the hotel she offered to keep it at the dealership and come in on her day off to hand the car over. I came in without a appointment. My motor was making a noise I was concerned about. I’m from NJ in Nashville for the weekend and had to drive home on Monday. Taylor took the time to check the vehicle and heard the same noise that I did. He asked a tech to come out and check it. He found the AC compressor was starting to seize and the vehicle was unsafe to drive. He recommended taking the belt off and it would be ok to drive. Understanding the heat and the hours I had to drive Austin said if the dealership had the part in stock he can install it right away and that way everything would fixed and safe for my 14 hour ride home. Taylor and Austin when above and beyond to help my family on a brutally hot Friday afternoon. I thank them and ownership for having such employees.Jimmy G

Last weekend I was taking a road trip from New Jersey to Nashville in a new Chevrolet Silverado I had purchased merely days before we departed. About 10 and 1/2 hours into our trip, I threw a check engine light which later was deemed an engine misfire. We drove the truck to a Chevrolet dealer who told us they couldnt help, and called another who was booked out for 2-3 weeks. After searching on Google, I found Freeland Chevrolet and spoke with Taylor who mentioned that he would be able to at least tell me the issue with the truck before driving all the way back to New Jersey. Luckily, there were no major issues and the misfire was due to debris in the fuel tank but I am extremely thankful for the fact that Taylor ensured the truck would be alright, and even refused to take any type of payment from me, not even a tip! For anyone in the area who is looking for a new Chevrolet or even service on an existing one, I HIGHLY recommend taking your business to Freeland. Thank you both Freeland Chevrolet and Taylor for the amazing and very much appreciated service! 10/10 all the way around!

Great communication, great interaction with service advisor when picking up auto. Only thing I’m sad about is while it was at the dealership, my car was bumped and a taillight was broken and I didn’t know it until I got home. Now I have to go back and get it repaired. Accidents happen and I know that and appreciate Freeland replacing it but it’s just a hassle . Very pleased with your dealership. Thank you, Cory Mauldin

Service department is awful. I called to make sure they had the parts needed for a recall. They told me they did and made an appointment. Got there and they didnt have the part. They told me there was going to call me when they get it and should take less than 2 weeks. Never got the call and its been 5 weeks. Called again and they still didnt have the parts. Bad service and overcharged. Dont recommend going to the service department.

Same Vin number but had all these upgrades not pictured or quoted for online. Customer service was horrible will definitely not return. Save your time and go somewhere else.

My name is Erica. This review just happen to be under my sons name. My check engine light came on and I took it to the dealership to get fixed 4/24/2021. They stated it was fixed. Later on in the day on 4/24/2021 it was chilly so I turned my heat on in the car and the check engine light came back on. If they had turned my heat on after supposedly fixing it on 4/24/2021 they would have seen that it was not fixed. I called Monday 4/26/2021 for an appt and the call center advised me to come in at 130pm on 4/26/2021. I got to the dealership and the service advisor said they schedule people to come in but they do not know how backed up the dealership really is. So now I have to drop my car off and leave it for them to check it and I cant do it now because I am a single parent with 3 children and they are in school so I have to have a vehicle. They said they are out of loaners and until they figure out how long it will take for the car to get approved, getting me a rental car cannot be approved at this time. I am very dissatisfied. When I got this car I did not think I would have to look at a check engine light on my brand new car. Yes they told me I can drive it and it is not tearing my car up but I do not want to drive it until it is fixed. EDIT!!!I spoke with the manager of the service department and he took care of me. My vehicle was fixed and he put me in a loaner until the services were complete. Thank you!

Service department. I scheduled an appointment for 06/08/21. I brought my car in on 06/07/21 after work to make sure my car could be seen for the information cluster on my 2013 Chevy Malibu. Long story short my car was never touched I just picked it up on 06/10/21. Cyndi advised me that my car was with a technician only to find out that was not true. I received no call, text, letting me know what is my potential cost. Im disappointed with the lack of concern and after all of this, my car still needs to be fix.

Took my Equinox in for repair after some serious engine issues. Johnny and his team were incredibly prompt about running timing diagnostics and updating me about the options. I had a bit of sticker shock at the start because the repair was hefty (but necessary), and Johnny was very understanding. He helped me work out the costs and had my car back sooner than promised. I never do reviews, but my experience here has really been something else. Service department needs A LOT of work. First time I brought my car in simply for diagnostics on some issues with steering wheel shaking while braking. Brought it in early with an appointment set and made it clear I needed my car by the end of the day for work (because theres never loaners.) Never got a call back and my car ended up staying overnight so I needed a ride to work the next day. Finally got a hold of someone and still it hadnt even been looked at. Basically took over 24 hours to run diagnostics and no communication from the department unless I finally reached someone. My second time in was for brake pads, which I scheduled online with one of their online offers. Brought my car in at my appointment time and the clerk had no record of my online appointment or the offer, although he did honor it after I showed him my email receipt and everything was taken care of efficiently and with communication through the day (I believe it was Taylor who helped me.) It was just crazy to me they have an online booking portal that doesnt actually book appointments for the clerks to see. Third time I brought my car in was for rotors, and I wont be back. Same situation with the online booking, the clerk literally told me the online booking doesnt do anything for them!? I dont get why its even there to begin with or why the issue hasnt been resolved by the company because surely other people use the online portal. After dropping off my car at noon and no call back by 4:45 I called to check the progress, only to be told they havent even started because they hadnt had time to call to confirm prices. I let the clerk know I booked for $164 front rotors as offered online and she was completely unaware of the offer and countered it would actually be $164 each rotor and after service it would be over $400 (rotors are $70 at autozone yall). Finally after I insisted it was an offer for total $164 online she found out I was telling the truth...then said they dont have the rotors in the offer. Picked up my car with no service and wasted time and I wont be back. Terrible communication between clients and service, non-working booking portal, unfamiliarity with their own offers, and the equipment needed for advertized offers arent on site.

If you want your vehicle serviced take it somewhere else. I took my brand new 2019 (Trail Boss edition) Silverado for a simple oil change and tire rotation, they messed my truck up in the process, I was told to take it to a dealership in Antioch, they also did not fix the issue after dropping it off twice they stopped answering the phone and told me to take my brand new truck somewhere else to get it fixed.The sales department is ok and Arod was great, but the service department is horrible.

My wife and I were headed to Tennessee for a business trip when her car experienced some issues. We limped the car into Freeland explained our situation that we were only there for 2 days and had to be back on the road to Michigan.There were 175 cars in front of us and Cydni assured us we would be taken care of. SPOT ON she had a LYFT take us to our hotel and the next day 9 am she was on the phone telling me our car was ready. A lyft picked me up and I was back to the hotel by 10:30 am with our car. My daughter had a scheduled oil change on 3 June 2021 for her 2019 Chevy Trax. She arrived and waited 2 hours for the oil change/tire rotation/multi point inspection to be completed. A little long just for that but ok. Once completed the tech came back and said everything went good as well as that they had balanced the tires. Thinking nothing more my daughter drove home. 1-1/2 days later on the way back from work her steering wheel was shaking really bad, bad enough where she called and I told her to pull over and check the lug nuts. Lug nuts turned out to be fine however obviously there was still an issue of the bad shaking, shaking that wasnt there prior to bringing it in. She called and explained the situation and had to take off work to bring it back in in time to get it rechecked. They told her they dont do tire balances on oil changes. And as that may be true why did their tech tell her it was done and why is her steering wheel shaking extremely bad?? Not to mention her tire pressures between the two front tires were off by 8 lbs... Tells me, no multi point inspection was thoroughly done. They said theyd balance her tires but would be a 50+ dollar charge. So I called and explained why is she paying for something they said they did as well as now her car is shaking only after they did service on it? This was the service manager I talked to as I was upset and they were apparently counting on my 22 year old daughter not bringing anything up. He said hed personally check the tires, balance them and there would be no charge. I said ok. After all was done when my daughter got home I told her to remove the hubcaps and look at the wheel balance counterweights. ALL 4 were the same ones and never were changed. All 4 were rusted and no old marks from where old ones were removed and new ones placed. Highly upset as now they just blatantly lied about balancing her tires as they didnt even do it. What kind of service department are you running??? Seems all they did was re-rotate the tires back to their original position. And they said they felt a pulsing in the break pedal when they test drove it. This wasnt even there before she initially brought it in nor after they did the oil change. So now shes got to take it elsewhere and actually get them balanced as well as get it inspected as to why all this is going wrong after having it serviced at the dealer. She will not be coming back and Ill be calling corporate or whomever the owner of Freeland Chevrolet is to make a personal complaint. Ill also be making numerous other reviews to ensure others know to double check their cars after work has been done there. Highly upset and disappointed.

Ms Cydni Stovall at Freeman Chevrolet in Antioch/Nashville,TN was very professional,polite and courteous attentive on 6/30/21 to my concerns and needs.Ms Stovall complimented me on doing my homework before coming to them for service, she made recommendations that were helpful and educated me to what that would do to enhance my car with no pressure tactics. Made an appointment on line through GMC/ONSTAR. Waited a while for service but she apologized for the inconvenience. I WILL RETURN !!!!!! She even fixed the strip on my door on the drivers side.Thank You Ms Stovall

This company’s service department has horrible communication. Twice I’ve taken my vehicle to be serviced here and never have they once called me to give an update or time estimate. The first time I gave them a pass thinking it was a one off but after the second time waiting 3 days then calling for an update and not able to get the info I need on my vehicle. I decided to write this review. I’ve never done this before but in business communication with your customers is key. I will never use this company again.

Everyone was very nice and accommodating durning my long wait to get the new Corvette. Once the corvette was coming, the team that assisted me couldn’t have been nicer and more professional. A Rod was my main guy throughout and I felt like he became my friend by the end of the process.
