Excellent Service!! Ran a complete set of tests and explained the importance of each one. Both visually and medically. I’ve been wearing glasses since 6th grade and get my eyes checked regularly. I have never heard of a couple of these tests. And these weren’t new. Some people are great at their jobs.

I use progressive lenses. I had my eye exam and ordered one pair of middle distance glasses from this office, for use at the computer. I then asked for a copy of my prescription so that I could order progressive lens glasses online. They only printed and gave me a copy of my middle distance prescription. I didnt know the difference so bought two pairs of glasses online. When I received them I realized something was wrong so called the office. They told me that they should have printed and given me my full prescription. I now have three pairs of middle distance eyeglasses and have lost a couple of hundred dollars. I was happy with the eye exam I received but have been disappointed with everything else.

Very friendly, helpful, “sassy” staff! Lol. I mean sassy in a good way! Highly recommend! I’ll be back………..

We switched to Bellevue Eye Care and Dr. K a couple of years ago and they are wonderful. The front office staff is super friendly and always willing to help us out. Would highly recommend. Great eye care group in Bellevue.

I have been with Bellevue Eyecare for several years and have always been pleased with the care received. I was especially grateful this week when, after I suffered an eye injury, they worked me in right away. Dr. Kirkconnell was very patient, reassuring, and thorough, taking time to explain each step of the exam and go over the results. Staff members Shirley and Keli were so helpful and very kind as well.

I made an appointment after the receptionist confirmed that they would take my insurance. They are in the Cigna Preferred Medicare (HMO)/Superior Vision network both online and on the telephone information system. When I came to the appointment, they said they didn’t take the type of Superior Vision I have. Why are they in the network and why did they make an appointment. This place is a waste of time.

I’ve been going to the same Eyecare for 33 years and was looking for a change.I couldn’t have found a better place then Bellvue Eyecare! I cannot say enough how amazing Shirley was for helping me all through the process from beginning to end,Dr Kirkconnell was very thorough and polite and made the exam and contact fitting super easy and I didn’t have to wait 45 mins in the lobby like my previous Dr. I literally walked in and seen the Dr.K right away.I will recommend them everyone as me and my family will be customers.

I love this place. I really like Dr K! The staff are fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Helped me pick frames, which is always a hassle!

Doctor was rude. Looked us in the eye and said “the doctor has left for the day”, while he was sitting right in front of us. Didn’t even need a doctor for the reason we were there, and the business was open for another hour. Negative experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

I have been visiting this eye care center for several years and have been satisfied with the care I received. However my most recent visit in 2020 was very strange. I was quite perturbed upon entry, that none of the people working there seemed to be wearing masks, which as of right now is one of the CDC guidelines to combat the spread of the coronavirus. Additionally, it is a fairly small office which does not allow for any sort of social distancing, which made the prospect of non mask wearing even more disturbing. One of the receptionists did put on a mask after I had been in the office a couple minutes, but the other did not. It was very dangerous, and I did not like that patients were being put at risk like. Other than the reckless behavior with regards to the global pandemic, the actual eye exam was fine.

When I say that my visit at Bellevue eye center was amazing. When I say Keli was so sweet and I hope that Bellevue eye care see this post and reward her for the best customer service ever.Thanks Keli your generosity was a blessing to me on a Friday afternoon.

I cant even tell you how unhappy both my daughter and me are with this Dr. My daughter has worn glasses for 15 years and has had a astigmatism for 15 years that has NEVER changed. First visit, he would listen to us to concentrate on the prescription for her eyes. The script he gave her was still too blurry. Made him the exam a second time same day. Seemed better, but he wouldnt listen to her. Shes 15 not 7. We purchased glasses for $408.00 and the script is incorrect like she informed him the second time. Second visit for a contact fitting. He tells her that her astigmatism has change for a 3 to a 2. Again, they dont change! Now we have to schedule a THIRD visit because he feels he needs to dilate her eyes. I have never in 15 years had to go through any of this. STAY AWAY!!!! Also, he mumbles so bad. My advice to him is to OPEN your ears and listen to your patients. Im quite sure hes not going to refund us the $408.00 for her glassed based off his poor prescription either. Lastly, the office staff is nice, however, when I ask you how much my insurance is going to cover LOOK AT MY RECORDS. Do your discovery and ask are you her for a contact and glasses exam? Why yes, well then you will pay and extra $80.00 per person upfront for this. Insurance does not cover it. KNOW YOUR PATIENTS. DO YOUR DISCOVERY!!!

Worried about covid? Dont go here.Ive been going to doctor appointments in Davidson County because of the mask mandate, I want to go places that I can trust wear masks. Upon entering the office, three people behind the front desk were not wearing masks. One put hers on when I walked in. I asked if they usually didnt wear masks and they said when patients are around, as one more put on her mask. However the third continued to wear hers around her chin. When she turned towards the others and yawned, maskless, I had had enough and told them I was leaving because I didnt trust their mask usage.

Staff are kind and helpful. Received my contacts quickly, and prescription is correct!

Doctor eye prescription was not accurate and was lot of hazel for my wife and me to do back and forth to doctor office to get appointment. I would not like to visit anytime future to this clinic since my insurance has one free exam once a year still they charged me copay saying since your wife is diabetes so you wont be covered and it has to go to your medical also on top of that the first prescription was not accurate which cost me two times making eye glassed and charged me twice the time for office visit which is not good customer service from doctor office for doctor error why i am suppose to pay second office visit charges.

Dr. K was very knowledgeable and explained what was going on with my vision and made me feel very confident about my updated prescription. The frame selection was incredible and I was matched with the perfect pair very quickly. Can’t say enough about the doctor, staff and frame options! The whole experience was fantastic.

I couldnt have picked a better place to buy eyeglasses for the first time. The entire staff has been so helpful and patient with all of my questions and issues! Dr. Kirkconnell,, May and Alan are always helpful and professional. May, in particular, has spent so much time helping me to pick out the right frames and teaching me about all of my options for lenses. They have a great selection of frames as well! Will definitely recommend this office to family and friends.

Very bad eye doctor! The staff was excellent;however, I had a lot of problems with the doctor. He didnt satisfy me. The Eye glasses that he prescribe was not accurate for my son and did not improve his vision . When I went to a different doctor they had a completely new prescription and tried to solve the problem. I will never go back to him and wont recommend him.

Dr. Kirkconnell and his staff have always been excellent at helping me with all my eye care needs. Alan in particular has also been a delight any time that I have had the occasion to interact with him, and he has always steered me in a good direction when he has helped me either choose frames or what options to go with for lenses. Before I saw Dr. Kirkconnell all I knew were the random doctors and such at places such as Visionworks and Lenscrafters, and he is definitely a large step above them. As someone who relies heavily on both my glasses and contacts and as such takes them very seriously, I can say for certain that you are in excellent hands if you choose to see Dr. Kirkconnell or his staff no matter how small your needs may be or whatever off the wall questions you may ask him. In short if you want excellent service, quality products, and to help support a local business, you cant go wrong here.
