I’ve been a glasses wearer for 28 years, and she asked me questions I’ve never been asked, and took so much time explaining things I’ve always wondered. The receptionist and tech were great as well! For 10+ years I’ve gone to doctors who couldn’t tell me what was wrong with my eyes. They had no prescription to fix the vision in my left eye. They gave very few treatment options that were minimally effective. Contacts, glasses, and constant patching were for naught, and then I found Dr. Ducklo’s team. They were able to tell me exactly why my left eye doesn’t work well and exactly how to treat and strengthen it. I am so grateful to have the answers I have been needing for so many years. The office had clear safety procedures in place that were followed by all. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The doctor noticed a hiccup in my prescription that was causing me to have headaches without me even realizing it was because of my contacts. This was my first appointment at the practice. I had a great experience! The staff, tech, and doctor were all very friendly, patient, and on-the-ball. The doctor took time to explain the images of my eyes from the Optomap scan (I opted for this instead of dilation, for the sake of convenience) and to chat with me about a chronic problem for which I’ve been seeing an ENT and ophthalmic surgeon. I will definitely be returning to the practice for my eye exam next year!

Great staff, very welcoming and cheery. Answered all of my questions and put me at ease for the exam. I highly recommend the virtual eye map instead of the dilating drops because you get to see a virtual 3D photo of your eye and that was fascinating!! From now on, I will only be returning to this clinic for my eye exams!

All of the staff was friendly and welcoming. I felt like a guest. Dr Ducklo explained all tests and what was happening with my eyes in a manner that I understood. I even got a technology lesson on things that are coming in the near future! Great experience!

There seem to be two distinct sections in your establishment. The reception I received out front (where the frames are sold) was less than cordial (boarder line rude). The reception I received further in (registration desk) was neutral (lukewarm and indifferent). In summary, I just didn’t feel very welcome there. Probably won’t be back.

Let me just say first that I have very high eye doctor anxiety. I went in for an emergency appointment- they got me in within an hour. The entire team, from the front desk, to the doctor (I forgot her name- SHE WAS WONDERFUL) was so patient with and kind to me. I would absolutely recommend them to my family and friends.

The first time since wearing bifocal contact lens (12 years ) I can read my iphone email without reading glasses ! same for prescription, newsprint .That is three doctors later ! pleasant happy and thrilled with the new prescription and its benefits . Very professional and amazing service

Had an appointment at 4:00, showed up a little early to do paperwork. After half an hour, had no idea how much longer I was going to be waiting so I got up and went home. I wasnt the only one who got up and left. also, they really push for you to have various different exams that cost extra money. they may or may not be fine, but I dont like being pushed.

You should know this is a LensCrafters buried deep in the Green Hills mall. I tried scheduling an online appt and the automated response sent me an address that had me in the wrong location. I tried calling a couple of times to get assistance, but no one answered. Also if you have VSP insurance they are an out of network provider and your contact lense exam will NOT be covered.

I am a former employee here at the Green Hills location, I do want say that the staff and the doctors try their hardest to get people in for their appointments and give them the results that they need in a timely manner, but sometimes obstacles do get in the way, like age difference (child or elderly) and disabilities can also play a factor in some cases, and sometimes the machines just dont work properly.The gentlemen that also posted a review (John Maggiano) is right, insurance does not cover all the test that go on in the exam room, I tried my best to explain this to people as best as I can, but I would get in trouble for that, cause the manager is money hungry. I did not agree with this practice, so thats why I left, plus I found a more honest company to work for and I get paid more for my services.Im not trying to slander this company in anyway or take away any of their business, but I think the truth should be out there, for customers seeking professional eye care. So if you or any others that are reading this review I just want you to be aware of their practices. But if you feel like you want to take a chance and try this place out, go ahead the staff is great, and the doctors are fantastic! ... Just beware of the hidden fees. I also highly recommend taking a book or making sure your phone is fully charged, there is a wait time.

**Updated review** I had my annual eye exam in August 2017; after 3 months on my dailies (1 batch of contacts) I was having trouble seeing. When I first called the Green Hills Office to inquire about the possibility of having my rx checked, I was told that Id need a new annual exam in order to have the rx checked - a substantial financial hit for anyone who pays out of pocket for their vision needs like me. However, the office manager Dawn quickly realized that a mistake had been made and got in touch to schedule me for an rx check with Dr. Ducklo. They got me in quickly and easily diagnosed the problem. I really appreciate Dawns attention to patient concerns.

Receptionist (cant remember her name) came off as rude. She had no patience in helping me, a potential new client. I cant say anything negative about the doctor because I never got to him...

When you called to schedule my exam, your representative failed to tell me that Lens Crafters has taken out the in store labs. I learned after my exam that it would take 1-2 weeks versus 1-2 hours to get glasses. This planned chance in customer service is not acceptable. Your on-site staff provided great one on one service. They didnt volunteer information about the Lens Crafters change but were very supportive to cross selll me to buy new glasses. Too bad I never plan to be back. I am deeply sadden by the change at Lens Crafters and predict their model will cause their failure in the market within 5 years. And I dont believe the lie I was told about Lens technology is changing so fast. Its all about how to make profits and cut costs. I gotta go find a new provider that puts customers first.
