I am a Chinese guy. I know how different between frozen meat and fresh meat, came here when I was 25 years old. I came almost every week, at that time, then I went back to my country for 10 years. And I m 36 now. I m back in Nashville area, and I went back here!god! They are still here. And still good like before! Now,again! I’ll keep coming back ! This place Always been best and freshest, I bought a lot of lamps here. I wish they got whole sheep head for sell too.

Great market with fresh meats.

I’m new to Nashville and have wanted to visit Botan Market for weeks and finally made it in. It looks like a great store. I bought some meats and when I was ready to tell the older butcher that I was glad I stopped he said, “yeah, yeah, yeah,” and kept walking. I thought it was rude and unexpected. I’ll see a lot of good reviews here. I’ll give it another shot.

Great customer service, keep fresh halal meat and wonderful selection of fresh vegetables and dry fruits. Excellent source of household items. Everyone there is friendly and respectful. Experience yourself by visiting them.

The best international store in the state. The meat is fresh and comes twice a week never processed or frozen. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh and have a lot of organic options. Fresh dates and pastries. They have all kinds of products ranging from Far East Asia to All of Africa and whatever is in between. The business is family owned and they are incredible people. We also have a lot of local products such as honey and fresh produce.

I have been shopping here for years. These guys have always been great to me..(.I have watched the rudest customer yelling at the staff who continue to smile.) The place is spotless and the quality of meat, bread and produce excellent. Some of the staff do not really have English, but the others always step in to translate.

Very nice store!!! The fruits where fresh and had every spice needed to make a savory meal. Central location, good place to stop when in traffic . I grabbed all the ingredients needed to make a childhood Liberian dish. And the owners and employees are the best with helping you with what you need. Ohhh we purchased lamb different cuts the meat was very fresh. Highly recommend

Good variety of products and bulk options. Very friendly. However, as noted in previous review many items were not marked with prices. Was looking for one item and had around six brands with different types, but not one bag was priced. Overall was still pleased. Will definitely return.

It is an okay place if you just buy packaged food. All of the items those are sold by the pound has their lids open, collecting dust and germs. Also remember to check the expiration date! Most of the products dont have a price that makes it frustrating. Other than that you may find some unique products.

Place for halal meet👌This is my favorite place to buy meet. Every week I use to by goat or lamb and chicken.Here you will get best halal meet. I see this place is not so hygienic. I fact better than any halal shops. Another good thing with this place is you will get never frozen meet. You can ask cuts and desired version of meet.Make sure - double check when one guy ( clean head shaved) is serving.sorry I don’t know his name - is not giving nice meet. 👎

This is my go to place for organic fruits and veggies. They have a wide variety of Mediterranean foods and spices that allow you to really expand your cookbook. The staff is also a plus you have some great personalities in that place.

Ive found this awesome store and it has all the international food selections that Im accustomed to. Everyone there is pleasant and there is a great selection of meat for a great price. Momentarily I feel like Im in another country and not Nashville, TN when I walk in. Ill be back!

I like this place just for meat quality but the staff is very unprofessional to customers and they all the time ready to argue on any point which happened for me several times. Mainly the clean head shaved guy is very rude to the customers. His intention looks we should shut our mouths and only take what ever the scrap he gives us. And the way he cuts the meat is not right. Every time we need to do a double work clean cut the meat again at home. Management need to fix this guys attitude and train him to properly cut the meat. Just the quality of meat is not enough, you guys also need to treat the customers well.

I have no idea who is giving 5 starsThe please is nasty and dirty, I placed an order for steak they sold me meat thats got nothing to do with any steak (maybe beef stew) but definitely not so called steak and I was very disappointed and dishonest, I will stop going at this place and try to find a better place.
