Just got my bass setup by Jeff on the recommendation of a professional bassist I know in town, and all I can say is wow. It’s a 2013 stock precision bass, and it plays better than the day I bought it. He even fixed a scratchy volume pot (which I didn’t even mention!) and cleaned up the whole bass. It feels incredible. I love Corner Music, I’m a pianist in town and there are never any stores that have keyboards available to play. Corner music always has their keyboards plugged in and ready to demo, and they update their floor with the most modern models. If you’re looking for something, they probably have it. I bought a Prophet Rev 2 there and it was an excellent experience, but this bass setup really blew me away. Five stars, Corner Music is the best.

Cool store! They had a lot of interesting guitars and amps that Ive had trouble getting my hands on before visiting Nashville. Their effect pedal selection was a particular highlight. Tons of pedals, and some tempting deals!

Excellent customer service, special shout out to Ronnie. I messaged them on Reverb about two different guitars, and was curious if they could compare and contrast. Not only did he do that, but he actually took the time to play both and gave me detailed feedback. A lot of music shops wont do that, and just give very short and unhelpful responses. They also have real photos of the guitar on their listing. I really appreciate their customer service. I havent bought a guitar yet, but if I do itll be with them.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Decent prices. Didnt give 5 stars because of lax attitude towards masks. I had to ask staff members multiple times to have masks worn. Complied, but they dont take it seriously. Other patrons unmasked the whole time. Hand sanitizer by the register empty.

Great place, great people, great selection

Having been a professional musician my whole life, I’ve seen some music stores in my time from LA to New York and everything in between. Corner has a great instruments & amplification selection at every price point. And they always stay up-to-date on all of the latest gear and accessories, too!They stand by their sales. And in my humble opinion, I think they have the best repair and luthier shop in all of Nashville. When my guitars, banjos & basses get “sick,“ I head straight to Corner.I know it sounds like they paid me to say all this but that’s not true. I don’t even consider going to another music store here in TuneTown. It has a friendly, no BS atmosphere and the only real problem I have with Corner is every time I go in there I see something that I want, because the selection is unbelievable.

I was on the hunt for a microphone and tried literally 15 places online before calling Corner Music. While other stores had told me there was a 3 month backorder, not only did Corner Music have what I needed, I ordered it, they shipped it immediately and I received it in 2 days. Excellent customer service - thank you so much!

Drove four hours from Mississippi to pick up some studio monitors from a friend in Nashville. When I realized I didn’t own the correct cables to use the studio monitors, these guys stayed after closing time (during a pandemic) to make sure I had what I needed! Really awesome guys, and I’ll definitely be ordering from them in the future!

Our family went to Corner music to look for a mandolin. The shop has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and the personnel were helpful with trying out several different types of instruments and knowledgeable in explaining the options. As a classically trained violinist, I was impressed with the quality of the instruments. There was a range of prices available, but the more affordable instruments still were of good quality with attention to detail. The shop was bustling, but all the personnel and customers had time for a word or two. Larry started us off, and Nolan was super helpful in helping us find a good musical fit while meanwhile giving us pointers on bands to hear in Nashville. We ended up getting a mandolin and an electric violin, and the whole family is happy. Both our teenage sons enjoyed trying out the instruments and are excited about the instruments we choose with Nolans help. We spent half a day there, and it was one of our most meaningful Nashville experiences!

Probably the best experience I’ve had with any purchase since I can remember! Not only is the Ukalele that I bought great; the customer service is FANTASTIC. They were out of stock for the one I ordered, so they emailed me the same day with the option to upgrade to a more expensive Ukalele at no charge to me. That’s not even the coolest part though.When I ordered from the website, I didn’t know they were local to my area. They called me the same evening and wanted to know if one of their employees could deliver it personally on their way home!They are the Chic-Fil-A of music stores. Amazing place! Super helpful, I’m a bit shorter so when I wanted an acoustic I knew I wanted something a bit shallower than a typical “Martin style” guitar, and Nolan knew exactly what I needed. Even suggested shipping it to save me some money on sales tax, really quick shipping, and with fresh strings my new Breedlove plays beautifully, with excellent customer service throughout the process. Stopped in today looking for some pedals. The store is REALLY overpriced and the employee helping me was rude. I was informed I didnt look like I had enough money to buy what I wanted. Not sure how the guy knew how much money I had, and I could have bought anything I wanted. Lost this sale and any others I may have made. I buy quite a bit of musical equipment but I wont be buying it there Giving them 1 star because 0 isnt an option

Popped in today to price check a new pedal that I was on the fence about buying. Ben came over, asked if I needed help, chatted with me for a bit, and told me to help myself to try anything I wanted. I feel like most places with such an amazing stock would be super restrictive about who gets to play what, but Ben was extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and really just made the entire experience very positive. I wound up buying the pedal as a result, zero regrets. Thanks Ben!

We visited Gruhn, Carter & Corner Music and while they were all great in their own, Corner was our favorite out of the 3. The people were very inviting (Mike P. is great) and they had brand new Gibson guitars as well as used/consignment items. When we come back to visit Corner Music will be our first stop.

Very personal experience - bought a Gibson acoustic :) Larry, the owner, and Nolan were great. What liked the most was that it certainly has a better vibe than any store I have been in - they are into it. Down to earth.

They treat people well and have what I need. As a female string player I frequently get talked down to at other guitar stores as if I couldn’t possibly understand anything at all. Maddening! But not so at Corner Music. They are always friendly and helpful and just talk to you normally; which is refreshing. Plus they have a great selection of individual strings and tons of other things. I love Corner Music!

Needed strings at days end, on a Saturday, 11th? 12th? I was sure they wanted to go home as I walked in 3 minutes before they are about to close. But they took the time to make sure I would buy the strings I needed and I got two sets.

My pedalboard needed new setup and re-wiring. Nolan was glad to help and had me ready to go in less than an hour. Always a helpful staff, thanks so much guys!

June 2015 while in Nashville for two days I took my Morgan-Monroe Mandolin by for a set-up. Jeff and Brandon were most helpful. My mandolin was transformed from one that I was ready to trade into a true playing instrument - a keeper. Kudos to you guys, This is the place to go. JML

Dropped my PA head off to be repaired. I said I wasnt in a rush. Two months later it was done. I guess I shouldve been a bit more clear. At the one-month mark I went to the store to pick it up – repaired or not. It was broken down, and the tech said he was just about finished. Four weeks later I got a call saying it was complete.. The repair cost wasnt bad, but if you need anything in a hurry – forget it.

I had called early this morning about dropping off my Yamaha Keyboard. Person told me to bring it in. I get there and the older gentlemen at th counter wrote me a ticket and handed it to me with very few words being said. 4 hours later the tech calls and said he can’t fix it. I ask what he thinks is wrong and he says he has no idea, he doesn’t work on that model. I asked him if he had any recommendations and he said yellow pages. Then he has the audacity to tell me they are not going to charge me... Wasted my time bringing it there even after I verified they worked on that model by calling ahead. I will not be returning.

Bought a slide, mentioned in passing I lost my old one. They gave me a second one as a backup. A+ people, and Nashvilles lucky to have them. Thanks, Corner!

Any working musician in Music City will tell you that Corner Music is where the pros go. This has been my go to store for over 15 years. Everything from instruments, amps and set ups to equipment maintenance and accessories. A real family business that has friendly and knowledgeable staff. Today I had my Gretsch input replaced and amp serviced in less than an hour. Of course I spent an extra 2 hours picking up more gear, as this place is like a candy store for performers. I sent Billy a message explaining what I was looking for- a Breedlove OM guitar. With the holidays I was trying to stretch my budget. Billy had the Acoustic guitar manager Scott FM get back with me. Scott BLEW MY SOCKS OFF! I COULDNT BELIEVE IT! He offered me a deal that was well with-in my budget then said Merry Christmas. I now own a beautiful Breedlove OM/SRe-H acoustic guitar and I will never do business with a big box again! Corner Music is my #1go-to music store. You should really give these folks a try. I recently went to Corner Music to have my Jazzmaster set up. This was honestly the best set up Ive ever had on one of my guitars, at a very reasonable price. When I dropped off my guitar, I planned on leaving it with them for a few days. I spent a few minutes looking around the store, and their luthier came out and said my guitar was already being worked on if I wanted to wait on it. I played a few other guitars while I was there, spoke with the friendly staff, and less than an hour later I was out the door. My Jazzmaster is my favorite guitar, but I always seems to fight it (I was on my 3rd bridge, bends would fret out, action had to remain fairly high, etc.). Now it plays amazingly! I strongly recommend their repair/setup work and will be back in the future.

I was very impressed with Corner Music .Being in the service business, I look for the little things. I was in town at the NAMM show with some friends with one major objective to try out a pro stage piano and was very disappointed at the shows lack of keyboards to try out! Thats a side issue, but it led me to the CORNER MUSIC store because I wanted to try out a NORD. (Nords site was pretty unhelpful when it came to finding dealers and NOT distributors).I finally stumbled through using different searches in Nashville and discovered that CORNER MUSIC carried them.I arrived first thing Saturday am when they opened and Russel the salesman helped me. He was very helpful, personable, knowledgeable about all the keyboards and informative. What really blew me away is they carried all the lines I was considering: ROLAND, Yamaha, NORD and KORG. The keyboards, ALL of them, were plugged in, pedals functioning and sound coming out- no running around asking salesman to plug it into monitors, amplifiers etc which is so typical. Russel answered a number of questions and an hour and 1/2 later I purchased a ROLAND RD800. Very pleased with the overall experience.The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I was told the keyboard was to be shipped on Monday. I followed up several days later to find when it may arrive to find the keyboard had not been shipped. They apologized, did not make excuses and were right on it.I have passed on my shopping experience to a number of people recommending Corner Music as often as possible.

2 years ago I was here jamming out with a friend and fellow guitarist, we accidentally slipped into playing stairway to heaven, they kicked us out. couldnt ask for better service!

Dont bother dropping off your gear to repairs. The associates will assume that you can go without your amplifier for a week. Yes. It takes them over a week to even bother taking the time to check whats going wrong and call you with a quote!
