Bought a BMW R9T from Bloodworth last month and have been loving every minute of it since I brought it home. Glenn Hawkins handled the sale and was a pleasure to work with. He was especially helpful in allowing me to swap out the tires to my preferred choice prior to picking up the bike. Thanks, Glenn!
Very helpful and friendly group of people here. Glenn, the sales person I worked with was very helpful and professional. The owners, Dave & Virginia take a personal, hands-on interest in their customers and personally showed me around the shop and their classic cycle collection. I highly recommend Bloodworth BMW if youre looking for a bike or bike service.
Just got my new bike from Bloodworth. Great service from the entire team! Glenn was a big help with the sale, Stewart was thorough with the paperwork, Joe was helpful with introductions and general info, and Michael did a great job at covering what to expect for maintenance on this beast in the coming years!Great experience through the entire purchasing process! Thanks to everyone for making the purchase of my dream bike a pleasurable one!
Whenever you move to a new town its always a question whether there will be a Ducati tech, and if they can do the work right. Generally shops that carry more than one brand of bike have problematic Maintenance sides. Bloodworth carries BMW and Ducati, and I can attest to their expertise on the Ducati end. My 1 year service was quick and painless. The were booked out a week, but had a cancellation and took me within an hour of my calling. I have never been able to wait while the work was done - its always a drop off pick up scenario, but these guys took care of it within 2 hours, and I believe there was only one tech on site that day. While I waited, I browsed the bikes in a pleasant atmosphere - nobody pressured me about sales or trade-ins. After the oil change the tech called out all the small issues he found with my bike, and told me to come back when they got a scrap-bike to tighten few things up, and relocated my charging cable - no extra charge. Good guys that inspire confidence. Bike ran noticeably smoother. For perspective, the dealership I originally bought my bike from in Los Angeles couldnt even put the oil filter on correctly after uncrating the new machine, and I leaked oil for a year. The second repair shop in Beverly hills pushed me to trade my bike in for a $47 thousand dollar Streetfighter, and just kept calling.
Super helpful but not pushy. Good inventory. Id totally recommend checking them out if your looking for a new bike.
Phil, Glenn and Victoria were all very helpful and kind. I am a new rider, and they patiently answered all my questions. When there was another potential purchaser interested in the vehicle I was about to test drive, they assured me that I would have first chance at purchasing it because I had showed up to the store first-thing that morning. I even got a free t-shirt with my purchase. I love my new Piaggio MP3, and I will definitely be going back to Bloodworth in the future!
I can’t speak for the buying experience, but the service and parts experience is consistently BAD. Not just for me either. My friends have the same experience. If you leave your bike with them, don’t expect to see it for a couple of weeks at least. They make you pay for parts up front, don’t have them in stock ever, even common items that are consumables, are almost totally unresponsive and only reactive about what’s happening, and generally have an attitude that they’re doing you a favor because you’re an inconvenience. I love BMW and Ducati’s and have bought Japanese bikes where possible just to avoid having to deal with them. Cool Springs Powersports have more volume for service and are many orders of magnitude better. I’d only buy a BMW or Ducati if there really isn’t a decent alternative. Had a totally different experience at other BMW|Ducati dealerships.
Incredible people, outstanding experience. The folks at Bloodworth are extremely considerate, thoughtful and professional. They sold me my first bike AND my second. Big thank you to Phil, David and Virginia for looking out for me.
Riding from Colorado to Key West, I noticed Saturday morning that my chain was shot. I called and found out that they were short staffed. The parts manager standing in for the service manager and the tech were awesome. They got me in and on the road by 10:30 AM. They saved my trip. These guys are the best!
Just purchased a slightly used BMW, and Bloodworth made it a totally painless experience. Very knowledgeable sales, parts and office staff. Thank you and keep up the great work.
I just want to say I had a great experience buying from Bloodworth. Glenn was ver patience with us and all the questions I had. He did not pressure or lead me down a fast sale path. I met Virginia and she was a very nice lady, and made the tons of paperwork to sign a breeze. It was a overall great experience and now I have a very nice bike. I rode bikes starting when I was 5 and now I had a Harley. I traded it in and for a BMW 1200 Adventure. i am wondering why i waited so late. Thank you so much Glenn and Virginia
I purchased my first motorcycle from Bloodworth. I worked directly with Glenn, but interacted with most of the staff and found them all to be friendly, patient, and knowledgeable.
WOW! When it comes to customer satisfaction Bloodworth is beyond amazing. Myself being only 21 walking into a high end motorcycle dealership expecting to be treated like a bloke off the street but no. I walked in and was treated like a human, i was acknowledged by the phenomenal staff. I may not have purchased a new Ducati or BMW but a pre owned MT-09 and was treated way better then i had expected. Amazing work from the staff you all have earned my business for many more years to come and i will be back one day to get my hands on one of those beautiful BMWs or Ducatis.
Amazing experience there. These guys know what they are doing and are as honest as can be. Brought them an old vintage car and they took a look at it for a while to identify how to get it back up and running. I was expecting to be crushed by how much time they spent figuring it out but in the end it was in line with the estimate they gave me. They do have a wait to get your cycle in, but that’s because they are the best in town. Highly recommend these guys.
Glenn is a pleasure to work with. He found the BMW R1250RT I wanted and arranged a trade with another dealership saving me a long ride or airline ticket to get my preferred color on a truly premium touring product. All around great experience. In fact, when I replace my errand scooter with a different model there is no question who I will talk to first.
Unprofessional proverbial used-car salesmen at best ... in the middle of negotiating with salesman on advertised bike ... calls me back 6-1/2 hours later just to tell me he went to lunch and now bike is sold ... what a joke
I had an outstanding sales experience purchasing my brand new Ducati Monster 821. The staff were professional, courteous and very informative. The bike is Amazing! Bloodworth will definitely get more of my business in the future.
Super nice store large inventory friendly staff
A great experience! I recently bought a 2018 BMW Scrambler from Bloodworth. It was my first experience with them and will definitely be a return customer. Everyone there is awesome to work with and very personable. My brother also bought a BMW from them at the same time. They didn’t have exactly what we were looking for on the showroom floor so the owners drove to Georgia to get one, came back, then drove to North Carolina to get the other bike all in a matter of a few days just to meet our needs They drove to these locations personally because their transport vehicle was preoccupied. I mean that’s going above and beyond. From initial sales to gear to financing, everyone we dealt with was super nice and accommodating. Big thumbs up! Thanks guys!
I bought my new BMW GS Adventure here last year. There was an issue with the protection bars/aux light upon delivery and they stood by their word stating that they would replace the parts upon the next main service and they did. I do not mind doing the service work myself, but after my 6K service, the bill was not bad at all! Very happy with them thus far.
Went by and looked at Bikes. Glenn was awesome. He is very knowledgeable on BMW motorcycles.
I had some issues with some work etc, I wont bore you with details. We worked it out and I am pleased with how I was treated. Thank you again Bloodworth. Keep up the good job, quality and pride.
On my way home with a newly purchased 07 GSA last week, the fuel flange, previously recalled and addressed but determined to separate from the fuel pump anyway, gave up the ghost in grand fashion. It covered me in fuel as well as much of the right side of the bike. The bike was hauled to Bloodworth which was the closest dealer to where I had broken down. I spoke to David Bloodworth who took the time to go over what had happened and some options. Not long afterwards, he and the dealer from which I had purchased the bike communicated and began a request to BMW for a goodwill repair based on the situation. Before hearing back from BMW, he ordered the parts knowing that I needed to get back on the road as soon as possible. It took 2 days for the parts to arrive and in the meantime, I was welcomed to stay in the lounge area despite reeking of fuel (and that was with 2 wash cycles through a laundromat). The staff was aware of my situation and all were friendly, sympathetic and welcoming. Glenn and Sterling spent time talking to me, David checked on me periodically and in general, I was able to observe the employees and see how well they interacted together. In the end, the parts arrived on Saturday and it was determined I needed 2 new plastic gaskets for the bike to be safe to ride, ending my hope of getting home on the bike that week. I rented a car to drive home and instead of making me get a Lyft or cab, David and Virginia drove me to the airport to pick up my rental. While my saga is not quite over, Im in better shape than I deserve because of Bloodworth. Their generosity and willingness to help made a very bad situation much easier to endure and for that, I cannot thank them enough.
I stopped in to get a tire replacement after I picked up a screw. They got me in, did a great job, and helped me complete the MOA paperwork. Great shop and great people!
Indifferent. I’m not 100% sold on overall service, but I have always been helped and/or greeted. I think they are good at what they do. I have been 100% satisfied with repairs or service to my bike. (It helps if you own a BMW though.) If you own something else, it’s hit & miss with service friendliness. The sales person, Glenn, is top notch and friendly will spend time talking to you about any bike if he’s available. Clothing line is ok but could be better.
Great people. Saved me during 3500 mile ride. Strongly suggest this dealer.
Just completed the 30k service on my Diavel and couldn’t be more happier. Mike the tech is fantastic and very detail in his work. They will tell you exactly what the bike needs and service it accordingly. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone in State or out to check out. Very hard to find shops you can trust. This one is special!!Thanks again guys.
Very helpful and friendly service and a great place to get a motorcycle and great prices to.
Awesome dealership. Why? Because Michael, the Service Manager is incredible. He did the service to my Ducati well. What takes him over the top?? I am able to call him with questions. He is always very helpful and polite at the same time. If Bloodworth were to lose him, I guess I would go elsewhere. Thank you Michael. You represent the passion and sport well.
The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and they are willing to bend over backwards to make sure their customers are happy. Its because of their customer service I have decided to get a BMW motorcycle. I cant recommend them enough.
I didnt buy anything but they were still friendly, knowledge and willing to help. Best part was the easy test ride, I didnt have to promise my first born for them to let me take the bike out.
My experience was quite positive. Plenty of time to look over the inventory and ask questions and ultimately to take a test drive. Glenn was good value as a salesman. I enjoyed meeting him and Virginia, too, and our conversations went deep into the sport of BMW riding (although I was only there to buy a little 150cc scooter!). Not sure what to make of the negative reviews to be quite honest...methinks the sales staff was very professional.
Test drove a BMW C650GT and LOVED it! The salesman Joe went out of his way to help me and they have a lot of selection. Hopefully the service department is just as good.
Michael in service is top notch! The techs are great too. Always willing to help and very reasonable.
I went in today for help repairing a side case for my 2006 K1200GT. The owner went out of his way to help me find the right part and make sure I knew how to correct the problem. I was pretty blown away by how much he cared about me and my repair. Been riding motorcycles for 20 years and havent ever had that kind of help before. Will definitely keep going back. Highly recommended!
The only dealership you should ever spend money on a bike. The whole team: David, Virginia, Glenn, Kevin, Rick, Michael, the whole lot. Top notch.Ive purchased three motorcycles over the past few years from Glenn. He takes the time to answer all of your pre sale questions with patience and never pressures for a sale. Once the deal is done the staff at Bloodworth has always been amazing at answering any and all questions regarding my bikes. They dont always have all of the accessories in stock but Rick is always glad to order. Amazing service. There is no excuse to go anywhere else.
I live in Detroit, but found a great deal at Bloodworth Motorcycles. And, Joe and Stewart were awesome to work with, so much so, that I purchased my BMW GSA1200 there, flew down and drove all the way home.
I hate to admit it b/c I wanted to be pleased with this dealership. Id read the reviews already but decided to try to do business with them. Their used inventory didnt fit my needs (little to no selection) and I purchased from another dealer out of the Nashville area.2 months later I wanted info on a GPS installation and was met with an extremely rude sales person - the only guy that sells for them I guess. So rude that when I need service or parts, Ill ride the 200 miles to have that dealer service my bike. He made very curt and rude remarks that I should have been shown this info by the dealer I purchased the bike from in the first place. (wiring harnesses for a GPS unit). I replied and told him that I wasnt interested nor did I ask my original dealer about a wiring harnesses upon purchase. He replied Well..a GOOD dealer would have shown you anyway., which makes no sense. He then walked off the floor. He lost a sale of a GPS, and a few other items (riding pants, etc.).After today I can honestly say, I will never go to this dealership again. Im amazed at the short sidedness of how he handled a potential, now lost, customer.**As a caveat - the service department was superb. Johnny Jarvis was quick to get my bike back to me and explained everything in detail.
These guys are the best. Probably my favorite store in all of nashville!Service is above and beyond. These guys are trustworthy and really fair when you buy anything from them.
I’m from Illinois. Being out of state complicates certain processes. Both of the sales and financial department were helpful and accommodating to my needs. Communication was excellent. I never had to follow up, they always called back evan when they didn’t have to.
Great dealership, run by cool people, and a staple of the motorcycling community. Theyre always friendly and knowledgeable. Glenn is the man.
Micheal was great and so was SterlingAwesome shop. Thanks so much Sterling
Walked in, grabbed 2 things I needed and ready to checkout. No acknowledgement from multiple members of staff for a number of minutes (except for the member of the office staff who stared and smiled as she walked past without saying anything). Wrong price on part entered previously means manager comes out to correct while Im waiting to pay and run (again with no acknowledgement). Yet, I overheard the employee who did help me use my presence as an excuse to not help others. Really strange motorcycle dealership, in my opinion.
I called in to ask some questions about the scooters they had in stock. Out of all the dealers in the Nashville area, they had the best and most in house selection. I spoke with Glenn Hawkins on the phone. Contrary to some of these reviews, he was very polite, answered all my questions and welcomed me to visit the store. I walked into the store 30 minutes before closing. I then met with Glenn and he began began to show me the selection. Once again he answered every question without any pushy salesman feeling, stuck to the price range I was in and we talked about other items such as maintenance, cost, durability, their service technicians skill and general information about the build quality. The store was closing its doors and at no time did I feel rushed to leave. I didnt leave that day with any purchase but was VERY VERY pleased with the courtesy.
Friendly and understanding of our needs.
Great service. Helped me with a GPS I purchased off of them. Cup of coffee and back on the road!
This is a great place. Glenn, our salesman, was very knowledgeable and patient. Virginia Bloodworth was able to get the paperwork done super fast. Thanks so much! Definately will be back
Went in there to look at a Vespa to buy and the dude thought he was too good to help and had a horrible attitude. Would not recommend.
About five years ago i bought, sight unseen, an R1100RT In Philadelphia. Not smart. Doubts crept in right away and many things were “shaky”. I had many questions. On the way home (Oklahoma) i stopped at Bloodworth BMW dealership in Nashville Tennessee. I talked with Service Manager Mike Hilton. He explained (patiently) the mysteries of this model and i left, after heartfelt thanks. The bike was still not perfect but i knew it better.Last Friday 14-June-2019 i arrived at the Lebanon rally site riding my 07 R1200RT. Upon arrival standers by noticed a fuel leak from under the left forward side. No fun.Again, a ride to Bloodworth, only to find them busier than a one-legged-wallpaper-installer. Again Mike Hilton to the rescue. He found the time, while dealing with other bikes, to diagnose the problem (cracked flange on fuel pump).I DID have to wait but the crew at Bloodworth Did find a replacemet. Did find the time to do the job and had me on a the way late that afternoon.I did noticed another R1200RT being brought in with a broken drive shaft and no real hope of fixing it, with no new drive shaft on hand, earlier than late next week. The next day i heard that the broken-shaft guy was on his way with a fixed bike. This whole story is my way of saying a big “THANK YOU” to Mike Hilton and technician Shaun Robbins for an outstanding service, on a very busy day, done with style and aplomb. Its worth mentioning that during my hours of waiting the crew at the show room was nice and helpful.I dont want to have breakdowns again, but if i do, the vicinity of Bloodworth seems like a good place to have them.Capt. Doron Grudo
Bloodworth was Awesome. Michael, the Ducati Service Manager, was Very Helpful. He did a great job on my bike. The day I went to pick up my bike, my SUV blew a spark plug right before we pulled into bloodworth. I came from Chattanooga with my wife and daughter. The Bloodworth staff were so helpful. They gave me a hand putting my plug in that came out on my 95 Toyota 4-Runner, which is not an easy task. They made sure my wife and daughter had something cool to drink on that hot day while they hung out in the waiting area. Over All Great Service and Thankful we made it home Safe! Thank You!
Owners were very friendly, answered all questions. Bikes were top of the line.
Wonderful, easy buying experience and great staff. Drove 3 hours to pick up the bike and it was worth it. We will now use them for our Ducati service needs as well, again worth the drive even with a dealer 20 minutes away.
I have been doing business with them since 1997 when I purchased my first motorcycle. Unlike a local Honda dealer who said to me its just like riding a bicycle which is completely not true, David Bloodworth took the time to help me select the ride motorcycle for my riding ability at the time and it didnt stop there! He also helped me get my license and signed up for the next MSF course. They cared about my well being more than making a sale and I have never forgotten that. For that reason and several others, I have now purchased no less than 9 motorcycles/scooters (combined) from Bloodworth Motor Sports over the years. In fact, they are the only bike shop in town I would trust my business with! Glenn Hawkins, Sales, is great! Tim Weber is my parts guys! They all take great care off you here! Thanks David and Virginia for maintaining a high level of customer support and bringing the best the motorcycle world has to offer to Music City!
Ive been coming to Bloodworth Motorcycles for over a year now and the staff here has always been very polite, professional and helpful. When I purchased my R1200GS from here, Ms. Bloodworth and Glenn Hawkins went above and beyond to ensure I had a good experience.
Bought my GS700 from this store, and I had a great experience!
Had service done on my BMW s1000rr and when getting the bike back the instrument cluster was cracked.
Terrible experience on top of terrible experience on top of yet another terrible experience. If you want a dealer you can count on go elsewhere.1) Bought new Ducati and took home by my truck. (Cold weather) they would not deliver except for large cost.2) First ride - when returning from work to home in late evening the front head light did not work. There road side service would not pick up. Had to drive home in dark without lights.3) The dealership had stated that they topped off fuel before I received bike. I ran out of gas on the first ride.4) Ordered leather jacket when I purchased bike. They had it shipped to the dealership and were supposed to ship to my house. I received email from Ducati that jacket was delivered to dealership. After over a month I called dealership to inquire. They had not had time to ship out yet. Another week goes by without jacket had to call again.5) After over a month with temporary tags expired the title work was not sent to me. Called dealership again to find out paper work was miss placed.6) Took bike in for first service at 800 miles. Took bike to dealership by my truck due to the long distance to dealership (nearly 2 hours). After having bike serviced I returned home to find they had kept my key.I will be getting in touch with Ducati the Company to directly express my experience with Bloodworth!Emensly disappointed Customer!
This dealership is great. I bought a BMW from them and my wife bought a Ducati. Despite having a BMW and Ducati dealership in Chattanooga, we came to Bloodworth because it is so much better than Pandora. Glenn has been the best salesman I have ever dealt with. The service department has been great to work with. All of their employees put the customer first.
I went to get a replace a lost key. I drove along ways to get it. (no dealers near me). Shop seemed a bit unorganized. I waited 30 min while they searched the back room to find it. Then once they found it they said they couldnt cut it and and the ACE hardware down the road would. I went to the ACE and they said they never have cut that type of key. So I went back to the dealer and they couldnt offer any solutions. On a side note and the main reason for two stars was while waiting for my key I asked them to look at the front brake fluid because the brakes were squishy some times. They did and said they bleed-ed and topped it off. About 3 weeks later I was riding and noticed some crud on the reservoir. They spilled some fluid it on the cap and didnt wipe it off and by the time I found it it was too late. I wiped it down and the crud was the remnants of the paint than was eaten off by the fluid.Overall, Ive owned Ducatis for along time and have had services done all over the world. This was by far the most unorganized and sloppy shop Ive had to deal with. I would only go again if I didnt have a choice. I would make the longer drive to go somewhere else.
I purchased a demo 2016 BMW S1000XR from Bloodworth Motorcycles a couple of weeks ago. Overall, it was a very good experience. While the dealership is small, it is very well-stocked. They have a beautiful selection of new and used BMW and Ducati motorcycles. My salesperson was Joe Tine. Joe dealt with every aspect of the transaction is a professional and courteous manner. He even helped me get my new bike secured on the trailer so I could make the long trip back home safely. Chance Blackwell in parts was also very helpful with getting what I needed to lock and mount my bags.I would highly recommend checking Bloodworth out if you are in the market for a BMW or Ducati. I believe the fact that I drove 200 miles to purchase my bike when there when there are several dealers closer to my home speaks volumes.Go buy a bike...we need more safe and level-headed riders out there.
A few months ago I was looking to purchase a new 1299 and had talked to several dealers on the phone. I have a ducati dealer 30 min away from home, but long story short on that part I decided not to buy from them and it was not because of price. Bloodworth answered all my questions very professionally and we had several different phone conversations btw. I spoke with 5 different dealers and decided to make the 4 hour one way drive to Bloodworth. They had the bike out of its crate and ready to go when I arrived along with an identical demo to test ride before I committed to buying a brand new bike which is how it should be. The sale went smooth and they went out of their way to quickly get it all done knowing I had to haul it back home another 4 hour plus drive now since I had a new bike in the back of a old truck. At 97 degrees temp it was a hot day and I was exhausted, but didnt even have to ask about needing help loading it, they immediately sent a few people out to help me load it up and strap it down. They even threw a couple extra tie-downs from the shipping crate on it just to make sure it wasnt going to move around. To sum it up I will be going back to Bloodworth to have all the service and anything else thats needed. Planning on ordering parts from them too if thats possible. Will update this review after my first service!
Great selection of bikes. A greeting at the door would be nice though.
Chance Blackwell came to my rescue and provided awesome customer service to me when I was unable to find a tire for my 1989 K75 during the BMW MOA Rally in Lebanon. He made a special trip to get me one that he had. Thank you Chance for going above and beyond for me. Wendy King - Augusta Maine.
I live in Alabama and ended up buying my bike from here. Kevin is so knowledgeable about all these bikes and it makes for a much better and more confident buying experience.
Great dealership with a great staff. Love the vibe of the smaller dealership, but it’s very well kept and laid out.
I bought my bike here. I was very pleased with purchase part as the owner lead me around the city on road types I want to ride the bike on. That was nice as it is not where I live. Under 1000 miles the start switch went out of bike. I was told it would only take 5 minutes to replace. So we trailered it up there. 2 hours later we got to leave because he couldnt get to it four an hour and half. So I got the recall notice. Sent it up there for a 2 day recall. Got it back 3 weeks later. Tried to be patient... earlier this week the bike would not run. Sent it to Birmingham and the reason it wouldnt run? During the recall work the work they did wasnt up to par and I have the repair ticket to prove it. I am told there is a new service manager here and they have made some good changes. My bike goes back today. I have high hopes since talking with the new service manager. The new service manager seems to have made improvements. He made very reasonable effort to improve the situation with my bike on this last visit
Im always the positive guy looking for the best in folks. Im sorry Bloodworth, I really tried to like you.It seems that unless you are there to buy a motorbike from them, they dont want you there. Not friendly. Not helpful. Not fun to hang around.I met a BMW owner this week who told me he experienced such bad customer service here that he drove to Kentucky to buy the same BMW he was going to buy at Bloodworth. If there was any other BMW dealer around for 100 miles, I would drive there instead of these guys.
My R1200RT had a suspension issue. Leaking rear. After a technician diagnosed the problem, the team at Bloodworth provided me the OEM replacement option that was cost inhibitive. I would point out... they didnt encourage me to go in this direction. They recognized the cost and immediately went the extra effort to find me a great solution that I am very pleased with. I have always been treated very well at their facility and would gladly refer them to a friend or family member. They are a committed group that takes pride in what they do.
Very helpful staff. And great selection of bikes.
Sales people are really helpful without being pushy. Theyre great at getting a hold of even limited production bikes. I just bought the best bike in the world from them. Ducati Hypermotard 939 SP!
Great people. Incredible service department.
Nice selection of gear. Very good service.
Virginia, Glenn, Chance, and the whole crew at Bloodworth make my visits there a pleasant experience.
They sell BMW. Great dealership.
AWESOME!!! David,Virginia,Glenn. Thank You! They went out of their way to help me. They took the time to explain everything in detail. I could not have received better service anywhere! I am proud my Piaggio MP3 500 has a Bloodworth License plate holder. Even though they are 300+ miles away from where I live,I feel I picked the right dealership to take care of a first time scooter customer. Thanks again,Mike Fraley,Bristol,TN
Very helpful in replacing a clutch cable under warranty.
Wonderful Service department! Shop foreman TOP NOTCH!
Service department is awesome, the rest.... Unfortunately is not even decent just bad rude and honestly go out of state vs coming here to buy a bmw, ducati, etc... its bad
These guys are top notch. Excellent service, friendly
I bought a used 2012 K1600 GTL from Bloodworth. Glenn was extremely helpful during the process and took care of all my questions. Being an out of state buyer I figured the paperwork would be a nightmare but Virginia took care of it without a problem. She even tolerated my bad jokes. Bike was prep’ed and ready when I arrived. Glenn even helped me load and secure the bike for the 300 mile trip home in 95 degree heat. Overall a great experience and pleasure to do business with Bloodworth.
Excellent people. Mrs. Bloodworth went the extra mile to help out. Service was great.
If u want a great experience.. . go to bloodworth. best sales, parts & service you can get!!! large selection of dainese apparel .. one stop shop for all ur needs!
Honest, top notch people who love what they do and it shows!
Really good store, Nice T-shirts !
Very nice selection of BMW and Ducati Motorcycles and Accessories!
Please note: Whatever the cost (this is my guesstimate), it was covered by BMW in a recall campaign, but please read the entire review. In late July 2014, BMW Motorad issued a safety recall notice to owners on my new BMW 650 GT scooter. The recall involved an improperly produced timing chain that could fail and increase the likelihood of a crash. I immediately contacted the dealer per BMW instructions and spoke with owner David Bloodworth. He claimed to have no information on any such recall. The machine was exhibiting the very specific sounds and behavior described by the BMW bulletin, but Mr. Bloodworth claimed it was not likely from the timing chain. Further, Mr. Bloodworth downplayed the threat and told me there was probably really nothing to worry about.I protested - even eMailed him a copy of the BMW notice - but he told me again there was really no concern here. After protesting further on the phone he actually hung up on me. In all my 67 years of purchasing things, I have never ever been treated so rudely by a merchant that took $13K+ of my money. Upon David Bloodworths hanging up the phone on me, I took the scooter to his service department the next day. They kept the scooter overnight and failed to call me back the next day, so I called the service department. I was told there was no apparent problem with the timing chain. When I went to pick the scooter up, they had the audacity to charge me for time diagnosing the problem. Furthermore, I was told that the noise I was hearing was the final drive chain which was loose and needed to be replaced at 8000 miles. (There is not reference to such chain replacement in the technical service manual which I also purchased.)At this point I appealed the BMW customer service sharing with them a digital recording of the sound made by the scooters engine. The case was assigned to an agent, and within days I received a call from BMW saying they had spoken to the Bloodworth service department and to take the scooter in. I took the scooter in the next day and the repair was made. The noise (and safety concern) have now been mitigated late in August 2014.My disappointment is that the owner of this dealership had no concern whatsoever for my safety and dismissed my concerns as nonsense. Mr. Bloodworth acted irresponsibly, unprofessionally, and with the rude arrogance of a bully. I have always regarded my relationship with a vehicle dealer as a partnership based upon mutual trust. This can certainly NOT be said of David Bloodworth. His disregard could easily have resulted in serious injury or death. I recommend everyone to avoid doing business with Bloodworth Motorsports in Nashville.
Great guys, and a great dealership! I was traveling through the greater area of Tennessee on my cross continental motorcycle ride from coast to coast when my r1100gs suddenly died in the middle of a rain storm. Symptoms were intermittent dying that were linked to about 30 minutes to an hour after rain hit (a trend that i did not realize but the service manager Michael Hilton and one other realized). They stayed open an hour late on a Friday evening for me to get towed in to the shop and diagnosed the bike themselves right there on the spot. Experience told them that the most likely cause of the bike dying was the Hall Effect Sensor leads of my 1995 model bike being original and pretty old were most likely dry rotted and the water from the rain was allowing them to short and mess up the timing. The reason it happened so long after the rain had started was that the hall effect sensor is located behind the front alternator cover and alternator pulley. So it took some time for the water and moisture to work its way past those obstacles and into the sensor. They helped me locate a part and offered to dedicate a technician to my ride come tuesday morning, but since it was a Saturday i was facing a 2 day shop closure (closed sunday and monday weekly) before i could get the bike worked on. Overnighting the part, bmw shop prices, bmw parts prices, and my hotel stay was going to cost me around $1500 to get this taken care of. After talking my options over we decided that the Hall Effect sensor was the most likely culprit of my bike dying and that if i kept the bike out of the rain i might be able to make it to Tulsa Oklahoma where i had a friend who could put me up and i could install the new Hall Effect Sensor myself saving me (a 23 year old college student) quite a deal of money. Michael Hilton and the guys at Bloodworth Motorcycles were invaluable in diagnosing my bike and very friendly and understanding. They kept my bike safe for me in their shop while i worked out what i was going to do, stayed open for another hour to receive me on a Friday evening, and didnt charge me a dime.Ii am exceedingly grateful. Great guys and a great shop. I would totally recommend. Thank Michale HIlton and Bloodworth Motorcycles!
PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE GOING HEREI purchased a used 2011 BMW no issues things went fairly well, me being me had the bike serviced (I trust no one) no issues there, well I had an accident April 14th 2013, bike was taken to Bloodworth, I spoke to service manager explained the situation life is good, April 19th Geico agent called from Bloodworth and says Im leaving them a check. I said thank you.3 weeks later I called and talked to the service manager and asked him the status of my bike, his exact words were we didnt figure you were in any hurry for it, What the heck does that have to do with anything? 2 weeks later call again (they never call me) have the parts will be next working it, 2 more weeks I call again, we have to get your vin # stamped to the new frame, 2 more weeks I call again, nope still havent gotten around to it, 10 days later I go down there and talk to service manager, your frame is sitting there. We need to send it off, Promises me I can pick up the bike in 2 weeks, 13 days later I call and he tells me its not ready tells me he doesnt know when its going to be ready. The next day I go there to talk to the owner who just blew smoke up my rear. The whole time hes talking Im thinking bull crap, 1 week later...hallelujah...they called me and said frame was on its way back to Nashville, Should be a couple of days transit and a day and a half repair, 10 days later service manager called wanting Geico agents phone number because they had started to work on my bike and they found more damage, Geico called said he was leaving them another check, So far they have $9496 plus and I still owe them the deductibleJuly 13th we call again service manager says waiting on 1 part should be here 1st of the week and I should be riding by the July 20th. Today is July 20th so I call again, Still waiting on 1 part. I should be riding next Saturday the 27th, like thats going to happen. Im so sick and tired of being jerked around by these people .I dont know what to do If and when I ever get my motorcycle back. There is no way I will ever go back to this dealership again. I have no use for anyone there,. HSo after 3 months and 1 week later I still dont have my bike. Hopefully Ill get it before Christmas but who knows.
I am new to Nashville, a diehard Ducati rider, and wanted to meet the local dealership. Bloodworth is a BMW dealer first and they make that known in the way everything is laid out in the store. Ducati was in a back showroom. Not a huge deal, they have to go somewhere. One salesman was with a customer, but gave me a very luke warm reception. I prefer that to high pressure, but I certainly didnt get a warm, glad you are considering spending money with us! kind of feeling.Went to parts to ask a question, I was promptly told it was a service question and they could not help.....which was true, but the second attempt to establish a connection/conversation and it was visibly avoided.Walk back to service, service manager was on the phone, so I waited. I heard him mention to the customer on the phone there was a six week wait on all service. Seemed like a lot of time, but this is the high season (June) and they had 30 bikes waiting in service I guesstimated. Service manager got off the phone and I had to initiate the conversation (again, no warm feeling). I asked about bringing a front wheel in, off the bike for a tire change, We sell tires too, you know! was the first thing out of his mouth. I was shocked, but replied I am sure you do!..in the same tone. $73 and change for a tire change, I told him that was a little high in my opinion for a wheel off the bike that I bring in. I checked myself, thinking this is not getting off on the right foot, so I tried again to be friendly and asked for a recommendation for a reputable dyno/tuner in town. I need a custom map for a Power Commander I installed on my 2001 M900 to match the engine/intake/exhaust mods I have made. Why did you do that?, the manager said, I work with Bosch and they put over 2800hrs into every ecu program. You should use the Ducati Performance ecu that comes with the full Termi system. Okay, I think to myself, you are obviously a BMW guy and dont know the Ducati aftermarket as well so, I checked them off the list of reliable sources of info for Ducati. Well, I still need to find a good tuner/dyno in town. We dont use them, we just run what comes on the ecus, he continues on about how he doesnt think bikes need dyno tuning and dyno techs are more likely to screw something up than help the bike. He has had to revert several customer bikes to stock b/c they were running like crap after a custom map. Obviously, you only see the problem bikes in service. I was fed up, but politely stated I was new to town and was trying to establish a relationship with a local shop. He had no welcoming words to spare, and barely acknowledged the statement. I asked for his name, already deciding at this point to call the owner and give him some feedback about my experience. He hands me his card, David Bloodworth - Owner, I almost fell flat. I cannot understand how anyone can stay in business treating people like that! I walked out.I know this is a long review, but it is so fresh I had to write about it. I was completely disappointed and blown away that this was my local dealer, and he seemed to care less about embracing new customers, especially non BMW customers. I have worked at multi-line dealers in South Carolina and Chicago (both BMW) dealers. I also worked at Cycle Gear, an national motorcycle retail chain, and cant believe what I experienced in Nashville.I want to support my local shop, but no way in hell if I am treated like this. I will go out of my way to do business elsewhere. So, off to Cycle Gear, $35 for the same tire change. I hope Ducati North America pays attention, and asks themselves. Is it worth having a dealership in a major market, if they are only going to misrepresent the brand and give potential Ducati owners a bad taste?Ducati is a passionate brand, your dealers should exhibit that passion or dont give them the dealership at all! Dealerships like this only use the other brand to lure buyers into their preferred (BMW in this case) brand.
Never had a problem Always top quality, friendly service
