I dropped my car off for an oil change at 9:15 a.m. and have been waiting 5 hours simply for an oil change. I tried to be courteous and give them the benefit of the doubt but when I called to ask about the status they told me another hour. I also requested an appointment for an oil change the day before and via the website was told I would be contacted within 30 business minutes. I was never contacted.

Ive been served well by this Midas shop in the past, but I am disappointed in our most recent experience. In brief, we had a synthetic oil change two months ago and our low oil indicator came on last week. We immediately took it to the nearest mechanic (an hour away), who showed us that the person who did our oil change at Midas forgot to install the o-ring that is needed. Oil had been leaking (and making a mess of our under carriage) for weeks. So I paid for a new oil change and a car wash. I called and spoke to the manager to let him know. No apology or acknowledgment, just an assurance that he would speak with the mechanic who did the job and call me back. Waiting for that call.

Midas in natick was exceptional, the owner Tim is incredibly knowledgeable, not like most mechanics where they say you need all this extra stuff to upcharge you, they only tell you what you need if you need it. Coming from someone who doesn’t understand cars and the terms they didn’t take advantage of me, I never have to worry about being charged for anything I don’t need. They cater to every customer individually and would highly recommend! Been going there for 7 years now and have had 3-4 cars of mine worked on there and have recommended all my family ( father, mother, aunt, uncle, grandfather, and brothers ) and friends and they thanked me so much for referring them to Midas! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Midas Natick was highly recommended by an auto parts store and a small auto repair shop. Melvin, the manager, provided a reasonable quote and the work was completed on time. My experience was positive. The diagnostic report is very comprehensive.

Midas Natick is a top notch place. I have been bringing my cars there for years. They are extremely knowledgeable and their prices are much better than most other places in the area. They never pressure you into purchasing anything and stand behind their work.

My experience today was great. Melvin Alcantara, seemed like manager on duty, told me to come down right away because he had time opened. So with no appointment I showed up in five minutes and my car was up on the lift and the technician on hand quickly assessed my issue and with a twist here and there, my manifold, that had come loose, was quickly dealt with. And off I went. Thanks Melvin for everything. You’re the best

Do not go here!! Complete scam in regards to diagnosing a problem with a car. Said my check engine light was for my catalytic converter ($800+ part) and it wasn’t even the proper reading!!! It was something that cost $90 to buy (oxygen sensor) and they completely lied about what it was! Further I paid for a ball joint that he said was installed “improperly” making it damaged and needed to be changed immediately so I did - when I went home it was another complete lie after finding that my father in law checked the front end days before going for an oil change here and it was all fine. $450 later I found that out! True scam artists please know what you are having done here before going

Great service and the best staff. I always go there whenever I have any issues with my car. Mike who works there is always very helpful and friendly to all the customers. He always start working on the car right away and makes sure to fix all the issues. I highly recommend this shop. One time I was sitting there waiting for my car and I talked to two women who were also waiting for their cars and they talked about how good this shop is, so I know that people value their services. Thank you!

Great experience with this shop today. I came in because of a flat. I thought I was going to need 2 tires. Instead the mechanic after taking a look came back and said that since my other front tire was still pretty new I only really need 1. Fast service. The car feels amazing after the balance and alignment.

I dont know whats with these bad reviews, but the guys at this Midas are professional, honest and only sell you what you need. They have been servicing all my vehicles & its been a great experience. They all know their cars & are knowledgeable. I will definitely be back to see the team for all my repairs.

I just had one of the best auto service experiences EVER! Manager Dave was extremely friendly, honest and accommodating. I was so impressed by the way customers (not just me) were treated. I highly recommend this Midas location.I will certainly patronize them again!

Pretty good, and they kept the price close to the estimate. Just wish they had called when my car was done as I requested. Overall was pleasant and they were helpful telling me about other work I was curious about doing but unsure of the price.

Growing up and working for my father in his shop, I have a fair amount of knowledge regarding automotive repair. They have never tried to over sell or overcharge. They have always completed the job fully to my requests. No shortcuts were made, ie reusing old hardware brackets. I trust them. Something I do not say about almost every other shop. The owner is a stand-up guy. (All Midas are privately owned) I have been going here for about 20 years and will continue to do so. As for the woman complaining about how long her exhaust lasted, your factory exhaust was aluminized and extremely expensive. Have they quoted you an aluminized system, your mouth would have dropped at the price. Ive had numerous stainless exhaust from different high quality manufacturers and from them and they all lasted the same time amount of time.

Undercarriage pins came off and the plastic was hanging below the car. They took the car in right away and had it ready to go in 10 minutes. Great service, friendly staff.

Horrible went in for an oil change no one even acknowledged me. I kept saying excuse me to check wait times so I wouldnt be standing there for nothing and I kept getting a hand in my face or a be right out without even looking up and head back into the garage. I left and went to Jiffy Lube up the street AMAZING and so friendly.

This place is the worst. They have a guy Jim he is fine. Some bald A hole is a real D HEAD. Dont go. You will get ripped off. I heard the Manager quote a guy almost 500 dollars for Rotor and pads...Front only. Now that is a rip.Now Midas is like going back to the 70s. Nothing has changed in that time.Stay away this place is bad news.

Be-aware of this shop! If they can not fix your original problem, they will still try to find something which may not require fixing. They will exaggerate issue to make you fix unnecessary things and still not fix original problem.I am just saying, take a second opinion. Its worth it.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was talked into opening a credit card and was told I would qualify for the $100 rebate. I’ve waited for weeks and finally called the rebate center only to be told I’m not eligible for the rebate because my service was 4 days before the promotion even started. This should be up to staff to know what promotions are valid. Very deceptive tactics here. I would choose another brand for your auto needs do not even try a different branch, because I’ve had trouble with corporate on this issue too.

They replaced my exhaust system about 17K miles ago. Just took it in today because it was so loud and they said it all needs to be replaced again. Factory muffler lasted 80K miles, Midas installed muffler lasted 17K... They said that is standard. $700 every 2 years is standard?!?I had to go back twice because the hanger (?) was improperly position and would vibrate against the tire, making an awful racket.

I only went there because the Midas in Framingham had closed. I had a free oil change to use, however, I was told that I couldnt use it there, I had to go to Brookline! I asked if they had any available coupons, as I was prepared to use my free oil change, ...um no, was the response. Guy could not have cared less. I never would have stopped here if the Framingham store was still open, and/or I didnt have a free oil change, and quite frankly, I probably wont again. That being said...I loved the staff, service at the Framingham store, wish they were still there. Im looking for a new place to get my oil changed!

With a flat tire in my mother-in-laws driveway, I had to find someone to fix it who had quick access to that kind of tire and could do the work ASAP. Googling nearby auto repair places I saw really good reviews for this Midas business on Route 9. One reviewer said not all Midas operations are alike and that this one is a gem, a real mom and pop organization. I found out it is true, they are in it for the customer (as well as for themselves of course). The owner quoted me a price over the phone and said he could have it done first thing next morning. I brought the car in and left it for pickup the next morning. They had it done the same day I left it -- they really hustled to get the tire delivered and get the job done. When I went to pick it up, the bill was somewhat higher than he had quoted, and the guy checking me out couldnt reach the manager. I showed him my penciled notes of the quoted work for mounted tire and LOF. He couldnt have been nicer, and even though he couldnt reach the manager he adjusted the bill to what Id been quoted over the phone. I understand why this shop has return customers -- I hope I dont have another tire problem, but if I do, I will come back! Way to go guys, thanks for the honesty and quick work for a stranger in trouble.

Do not ever go to this place for oil change. Have been using conventional oil for over 5 years and they refused to do conventional saying my car can only use full synthetic. Waste of time....

The Natick Midas is a fraud and Rob who works there is a complete joke. To replace brakes, he told me one price just to get me in. I brought my car in and then he calls me in the middle of the day stating that the charge will be 30% higher for no apparent reason. I declined to do any service there and am taking my car to Firestone. A complete waste of time.

Not all Midas stores are the same. I cant say enough good things about the Natick Midas. Ive been going to Tims Natick Midas for 15 years. Its always been the same owner, Tim, and a lot of the same mechanics, which says good things to me.Owner Tim always has dirty hands, hes actually working on the cars too.I asked Tim if I could pay him just to look at my car and give me his opinion about whether it was worth fixing. I paid him $60 which was the best money I spent all week because he was able to see a way that I could defer the repair.Tim has often told me that I could bring my own parts for him to install, if I want. I think that is a more forthright way of doing it. I think a lot of shops hide their labor charges in artificial parts mark-ups.I have large commercial trucks and also private passenger cars. Excellent service. I went to take care of my car and Melvin (who also speaks Spanish) was very professional. They even offered me coffee in what I expected and they had this beautiful expert, Loki, with the toy in what was waiting for my car. They were quick, and their experience showed when they explained to me what I should fix.

The price is expensive, will not come again next time
