Save yourself the trouble and high prices and go somewhere else. This place is a joke. The cashier is rude and they hold back certain (bottles) for permission of the owner, who’s schedule is apparently variable. Certainly try to support local business over the big brands, but don’t bother with these clowns!
Small, simple and fair prices. Great selection of alcohol for the size of the shop, and conveniently next to a grocery store, pharmacy and a few restaurants.
Good selection wines
In the cooler they had a whole row of 30 packs but the sign still said 12 packs for 12.99. So I grabbed one and brought it to the attention to the manager that they had inaccurate pricing, but because it was their mistake to merchandise an entire row of 30 packs and have it priced at 12.99. The manager immediately denied my request to honor the lower price. I told him he might want to take a look at the MA price and signage laws, he explained to me he was very familiar with them. But when I asked him what the laws said he could not tell me a single thing about them. So he still charged me full price (which is way over priced btw) and was extremely rude while doing so. He also accused me of moving the product to a different location in order to try and get a discount. I proceeded to show him the 4 cases of 30 packs behind the one I had removed from the cooler. Clearly it was an employee who put them there and failed to update the signage.
Similar experience yesterday with my special needs son age 28. The jerk behind the counter was rude and insisted on carding him because he was with me, a regular customer of 10 years. It was confusing for my son who was simply standing next to me (Im 62). The guy was really rude and on some kind of check ID power trip. OK, I get being compliant with state laws etc, but they crossed a line. Will never go back. Kentucky or Dions has better prices and selection anyway. Bye Rich! Hope others follow.
Friendly staff, good selection, and always have what Im looking for, or they are willing to show me alternatives!
I know that guy as well Mary Nett. Hes an as*hole! He wouldnt sell to me because I had a Mass ID and not a liquor ID. What bothered me is that he smirked, giving me the impression that he was taking great joy in it all. Go to Kentucky Liquor or Powers Package Store instead.
Really great people, competitive prices, easy cheap k out
Great customer care n pocket friendly prices
Great prices! Excellent selection of wines🌸
New owners, good prices and pretty knowledgable. Go there all the time solid selectionEDIT:Some of these other reviews are crazy...I know most of the staff here and go often, they are really quite nice and the prices are more than reasonable...I think most are just one off stuff. Most of liquor stores dont get fancy rare bottles anymore and most of their staff (even the new ones) are really nice
Friendly staff, convenient location, beer selection could be better
As you can see by other reviews customer service is terrible . With the exception of a couple of employees most are rude and unappreciative . Customer service and satisfaction mean nothing to them . So if you are willing to have a very unpleasant experience to save a few dollars fine but there are plenty of other beautiful stores in the area where shopping for wines and liquors is enjoyable . I stopped going here years ago because of this but they did have a wine that was not stocked at my other stores so I bought a case from Leisers . Two bottles were spoiled so I brought them back and was purchasing another case and some bottles of proseco . All was fine until some guy named Eric came out . He told us that there is nothing wrong with wines that taste like the cork and if we were going to purchase cases and return a bottle then he doesnt want to sell to us . Who would say something like this to a customer and what kind of business owner doesnt stand behind his products . I told him that he must be related to the owner because if he was not he would get fired for speaking to a customer like that . Obviously he is a very unhappy person who doesnt care about the business or customers. Eric is a miserable, unhappy person who probably makes everyone around him miserable thus the reason behind bad employee moral . I know my friends neighbors and family will never go back here after this . So if youre new to the neighborhood do yourself a favor and dont bother with this place. there are many other stores where you can spend your money in a much nicer environment, have a pleasant experience and not have to deal with absolute idiots .PS. As we were leaving Eric said he didnt care how many bad reviews people left. His exact words were I just dont care . Yes Eric, its very obvious that you dont care .
A quick stop place for buying liquor. Decent selection.
A good place to learn and shop good prices
Nice store. Clean, friendly...
I encountered the RUDEST man behind the counter. He would not sell to a woman in front of me because she had an out of state license. She was clearly over 21 (no offense mam). He argued with her & said there was a sign on the door saying they dont sell to out of staters - She went to look and he screamed at her! Not yelled, SCREAMED! I was actually afraid that he was going to get violent he appeared so angry.I was so horrified that I just walked out. They do not deserve anyones business. Go to Fannons or Trader Joes.
