Amazing service, third time returning customer. Started small with a replacement radio for a ‘96 Toyota Corolla that transformed the little old car, great sound and finally able to play anything other than the boring stuff on FM/AM. Moved on to window tinting and lastly a killer speaker system! The service with Moz was always great, and the installations were smooth and fast even when I came in without an appointment!

They did an amazing job installing a wireless apple carplay/android auto touchscreen head unit in my 2008 Ford Expedition. Did exactly what I requested with the factory steering wheel audio controls, back-up camera, and rear entertainment system. Johnny hooked me up with an outstanding price and got me in and out within a couple hours. Definitely recommend them and I will be coming back to them someday to have lambo doors installed on my C7 Corvette.

Help me understand that I ended up paying $2,400 to get new door locks, alarm kit and harness, headrest DVD players but only got alarm done they broke my harness and didn’t put a new one but I was charged for one and the job was done sloppy the guy said he didn’t put new door locks.... is it possible to get a refund if I take my car back tomorrow I just got it done today? I dont even know where to start.....i had some headlights installed in a place deep in San Diego and my lights Didint function correctly, i gave these guys a call and they fixed everything no problem,my headlights are running smoothly and are functioning probably,thank you guys so much !!!

A few months back I decided to upgrade my 2021 Toyota Tundra stock speakers. I really didnt have much knowledge or have Ive done enough research to understand new technology and understand what are costs of adding a subwoofer and upgrade component speakers. So I was browsing around car audio places near me and chose to go with Car Audio City in National City. I met Mike and I really liked his customer service and his genuine attitude. Long story short we upgraded and ordered a custom stealth box from JL Audio and Mike had already in stock JL Audio component speakers and amplifiers. JL sent the box after 1 month obviously cuz the pandemic but once it was here they called me and went to work on my truck. All smiles from me and I recommend them. Thanks Mike and the guys in the install bay! Wow what a system!! And not to mention that when I went to pick up my truck and go over it with Mike, he tells me that the inside fronts, I believe werent 6 1/2, but upgraded them to 6 by 9s. That was awsome. He hooked me up!

I went in to get my sub and woofer hooked up. 145dlls for the harness and running the cables through my car. I thought it was a reasonable price plus they guarantee there work for life.Great Customer Service. Im definitely going back to get my windows tinted and my back up camera installed.

Just want to say amazing customer service, got a great deal on a sub woofer setup up, even tho i had a little difficulty with the big in my truck they was willing to swap it out with no problem. Love this shop. Installer Miguel is the man. Had my car in and out quick. With 6 customers being in front of me I am very impressed. Had to wait my turn but these guys are fast. I would highly recommend I got HIDs and they are awesome.

Honestly a bit pricey but HIGH QUALITY window tint. You get what you pay for and this is the spot to get it done at. Great investment and totally worth it. I will bring my future cars here and also id recommend this place to friends and fam.

Very expensive and NOT upfront about their prices. I was told it would cost me $200 to install inside lights when after I went to pay Mike the owner said $249.00 parts + $125 labor! WOW! Definitely disappointed despite they are nice! Another Hyenas I had to deal with and got some of my meat! Will move on as so many of you are around.....STAY AWAY from this scam store! Definitely after your money and the service suck! Lights stopped working after a week and they wont fix it. Will take them to Court. Disguising Hyenas

Customer service was not the best. Had a young teen ager that tried to help, but didnt have any knowledge at all, didnt even know the prices. It was my first time here and they are over priced. I was looking for a pair of 6.5 speakers, nothing fancy, they were asking for $240! Found the exact same speakers at another shop for $175 and that was with both 1 tweeters included!!

Tint installation was ok not the best. Installer need to use good blades rear window has some bad cutting sections.

SO HORRIBLE. They tried to give me an invoice to sign with added $120. When I question it he said he made a mistake, then he charged my cc extra $120. I disputed it and I showed the receipt so the owner called me and threatened to ruin my credit. He said $120 is to help his store with COVID and the extra expenses. ARE YOU KIDDING!

I came in with an older model car with a system that had been installed over 6 years ago. I was helped immediately, my car was also looked at within 10 minutes. They were able to find out the issue and solve it for a very low price. I was given a really good deal and felt they took very good care of my car and me as a customer. I highly recommend this place for any future car audio issues.

Around May 2018 I came to Car Audio City looking for some good bass. I received a promotional magazine about a really good deal. I went to the store looking for the items that were part of the ad I had seen. After having my car inspected, I was advised to have a separate set of speakers installed than the ones I was originally looking for due to my vehicles hatchback design. I was told the price would be relatively the same, so I went ahead and trusted their professional advice. I was told installation would take about an hour to an hour and a half, however after one hour of waiting, the installment was complete. Hands down the best service and sound that I have ever experienced with any audio store. Just about two weeks ago, I went back to Car Audio City concerning the sound system I had installed and without hesitation I was helped instantly and with the same customer service I had received the previous time. Definitely will be going back for any other car necessities that I may have in the future.

This place is the Real Deal. They installed my new radio and backup camera fast. I can tell the installers know what their doing, the install was CLEAN! Definitely coming back soon for more upgrades for my truck.

Just visted the shop the other day(3rd shop visited on that day actually) went in and gave specs of my sub i wanted to setup and i was on a certain budget. Emad made it happen for me. He hooked me up and sent me home fully equipped. Focused on customer satisfaction, that was solid. Planning to go back for future upgrades.

After my car was broken into and having my stereo taken, I was looking for places to get a new one and since I see this place all the time I finally called for some prices.I went in the same day and found a stereo system and decided to get the Viper 2 way security system. I was able to get everything ready to bring my car in the next day. I dropped my car off the following day and even though it took a little longer than planned they got everything ready to go so I didnt have to come back.Everyone was very nice and professional. Will probably be coming back in a few months for a few upgrades.

We had LSD installed on our Mercedes SLK 280 several months ago and the scissor doors work great. Excellent craftsmanship and installation took a couple of days but will work it.

This place is not recommended, they broke my rear door handle and didnt even say anything about it nor did they try and fix it, no one ever sits in the back seat so i didnt realize it until 2 week later when i was vacuuming my vehicle. They say the installation will be done fast but its a lie. There are cheaper places in town with way better service, dont buy from these guys.

If you go, please be very vocal and informative about what you want and need. You need them to meet your standards. These guys are ok. I had to go back for loose wires, and they had some cracked plastic laying around. Like a penny size or less. Also I had a screw laying around too. It just seemed kinda shoddy at best. They put the speakers and thats it. Also, they dont necessarily seem well informed about every car that comes in. Im sure theyve done well before, but Im the customer with the different experience.

Great place, Moe was extremely helpful and he really wanted to ensure i was happy with the service. I got a viper alarm system installed there, originally was with the SmartStart module, that allows you to use your smart phone to start, lock and unlock, among many other things, your car. Well, i got home after picking my car up and nothing was working correctly. The phone app wouldnt do anything to the car except track it and the keychain remotes only armed and unarmed the car and not lock or unlock it. So the next day i took the car back first thing in the morning and explained to them that nothing was working. They tell me that they would probably need to keep the car all day to look at it and fix it, which was a little annoying, but i understood considering it was an unexpected drive in. So Moe calls me about an hour later and suggests i upgrade the system to Vipers newest one for only a few dollars more and also gives me money back for the smart start module since i wouldnt need it anymore. I said go for it, and a few hours later i pick my car up and everything works perfectly. Moe was great in keeping me updated on the status of the car and also ensuring that i was happy. It was a little pricey, but i am overall satisfied with the end results. Just make sure when you bring your car in they do a good job looking it over, they missed that my car was a 6 speed at first, which caused some of the complications from the start. But other than that, great place that i would recommend to anyone.

Be careful with the store policy, if you end up leaving a deposit for a scheduled appointment dont leave much, I lost $40.00 because I couldnt comply with the schedule due to an emergency I have out of town. Store policy is there is no refunds even on deposits, which they stay away from explaining.

Went in to get pricing on upgrading my Tacoma sound system. Talked to Craig and was super nice and helpful with what I needed. I left, to get a bite to eat and see if I could afford it afterall. Did up going back and asked for Craig but he was out to lunch and ended up getting this jerk who was very rude and know it all. Lost my business. Wish I had gotten his name.

In went to the location because I was looking for stereo connectors. Craig, who helped me out, was very nice and I was able to find the connectors even though he sent me to another store. Because he was so polite, I decided to return to get a pricing on a stereo install. I talked to another guy who basically told me to come back with the money and we can talk. He was very rude. I then went to Best Buy instead and have an appointment for the install today. Im also sure that I saved alot of money. More people need to treat people like Craig treated me if they want more business.Note: There responce to every negative review seems to be the same or they might even say that Craig does not work for them. Be forewarned.

I got my lights here and the nephew of the shop is great help me out a lot with a great price and honesty. Came back again for installments for my avh-p3400bh system and I ask for a sub and all of the amp and wires, this Mexican dude just too greedy I applied for the loan my loan was a lot more than the prices he gave me so he took an advantage on that exceeded his price and charge me 75 bucks more. I came back last week he explained that it was tax.. that is ridiculous never I was tax for 75 bucks. The worst part they dont give you no record of any kind that you made business with them. I love local shops and local business but this one is just not gonna be in my list.

This place sucks... I had 2 amps placed and an UPGRADE on a subwoofer, because the owner tried to have a USED one installed as a new one and he thought I wouldnt notice a freaking USED subwoofer.. SMDH. now their audio istalliations drain my damn battery and the damn bass keeps turning off on certain songs so it makes me have to turn off my car and restart it to turn back on, Due to not installing the right size wires and right items going to my battery and the system they installed..Im constantly having to jump start my damn car. Idiots didnt know that they needed to install other items to help with draining the battery and alternator. Like other reviews all they want is THE MONEY$$ no care for the customers or their automobiles. Only thing Im just with is after not notifing me of breaking my side floor panel when installing the now faulty system, he actually replaced it.. shame shame on this owner.. I posted before but took it down after he begged me to remove the post. Now I have sympathy or remorse for this audio shop so Im reposting and will post pictures of the so called NEW subwoofer he first tried to sell me 😡😡. -ZERO STARS. Beware of this shop..

This Place is a piece of junk.. I had my alarm and stereo hooked up since i didnt feel like doing it my self.. These jokers charge an ok price for the installation.. about $70 dollars more.. didnt really mind since I was lazy to do it my self.. One of the guy that installed my car was pretty helpful. However the owner or the guy upfront ripped me off big time. after all my equipment was pulled apart from my car I was told that my double DIN needed a dash cover that will fit my car. only $20 if i buy it online (highest price) but these guys charged me $60 bucks.. Since i had no choice I went and paid for it.. then they told me that i needed some type of harness to which again triple the price original.. So they finally finished and when I got home, I realized that my side mirror was not working.. and tmy back up camera was coming off. I took it back and they fixed the camera. However the wire was loose and touching the tires... and they forgot to fix my side mirror. I came back and the guy was trying to charge me more because he said I should have told them that before i left.. These mofos are crazy.. yeah maybe i should have checked it but i trusted them to fixed it since i told them. Bunch of money hungry people with no customer service.. If your in the military or a high school student dont come here.. specially if you dont know much about car. they will rip you off.. I saw two military last time I went there getting rip off like crazy. I just didnt say anything coz the guy seemed like he didnt care... but dont come to this place.. Just go to best buy and have your car done over there they offer lifetime warranty.. thats where I went for my second alarm.
