The best supermarket Ive ever been to!excellent product selection, great prices,friendly customer service and everything is very fresh I will definitely be returning.

They offer lots of stuff, including ready-made food, produce, and international items that might be difficult to find elsewhere. They used to have the best meal deal in town, but since raised the price of it by a good 50%. Its still a reasonable deal, I suppose. The place is pretty cramped though, youre often going to be in the way of people forming up to pay at the cashiers, who always seem to be understaffed. Additionally, another star taken off for an understaffed butchery, and for the poor quality of meats Ive bought there before (do NOT get the beef fajitas, its all gristle). This place is more expensive than, say, Walmart or Target, but not as expensive as a gas station mart. You get added convenience for the expense, thats the trade-off.

Its good for conveniences sake, but the selection of items isnt that big. The bread at the bakery do be pretty good though 😌

I love the Carnival stores so much fun to shop. They have hot food and salads to go. The produce are clean and fresh, so many places in store to explore. Every one was friendly and helpful.

The prepared food thats in the front, and the pan dulce are not good. The flour and corn tortillas, salsas, rice and bean are good. The meats and produce are fine too. The store could be kept up better and cleaned more frequently. I enjoy their aguas frescas as well. I come here mostly for their flour tortillas when I dont feel like driving to Apple Tree in Chula Vista.

This place is always busy long lines to check out, but its a good spot if you need some fresh produce or meats. They also make fresh flour tortillas which are amazing!

Carnival is awesome. Its just around the corner and down the street from my house so its super close and they have almost everything you could possibly need. Ive even found stuff there that I couldnt find at a few of the other main grocery stores!

I absolutely love carnival supermarket. All there food is amazingly good and fresh. And I love the fact that they have hot food ready and made so you can pick up a plate and eat right then and there and they also have mariscos there ready to order and eat. If your looking for handmade and freshly baked tortillas look no further.. this is the place

The supermarket located at this location is ok. I like the one better down in chula vista. I stopped by here for a quick snack. Just got me a natural juice that they make in house. Loved the juice. I didnt really want or need anything else from there though. 🙄😁

They have great prices on meat also. Its a clean store where I feel safe to shop during coronavirus times. One thing I dont like is when they put stuff on sale u have to buy two to get the sale price, not like that at other stores.

I love this market, but with my incident with their people today in which my very first after so many years of shopping with them. FIRST TIME USING THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I AM NOT HAPPY AND FELT SAD. I dont usually put any bad reviews but I cant contain myself because I feel violated. This is a convenient location, but the parking lot is horrible and the aisles in the store are very narrow. And tons of people crowding in those narrow aisles.

Fresh tortillas, salsas, Mexican bread. The hot food is tasty if you dont have time to cook.Carnitas,family style meal to go with beans, rice,tortillas and a salsa too.Fresh juice,ceviche,cold beer. This place has everything for a family outing. The store is neat and clean. The employees are helpful and polite. If you have not been in there in a while worth checking out again.

This store isn’t following protocol, not sanitizing or options to sanitize the carts or baskets. The store is so small. They have over almost 20 people in the store at the same time. Sometimes the milk or frozen products are over expired.

I used to really like this place now they dont give out a free tortilla that was the only way to get my kids to go with me

I got food delivered using Mercato.com delivery service. Less than 2 hours after I put my order in, I had my groceries delivered. I would definitely recommend as a convenient way to shop.

Convenient and always stocked

New more recent review, this place still has horrible service in the warm food areas. Instead of focusing on your order the workers start to talk amongst themselves. They attend other people that arrived later instead of the one already there. They will leave your order on the side for up to 10 or 15 minutes before actually getting to you. I had to wait 15 minutes for a single item. While I waited the lady who was supposed to be attending me went with about 5 others before coming to me.Really disappointed in this place, waited inline to get served and the girl their attended someone else instead(not the first time). If the cooks cant keep up with the number of people,they should put a ticket machine like in the other two spots in the store. From now own I am completely avoiding this place.

Whoever said the bigger the better hasnt been to Carnival Supermarket! This place hardly has elbow room while youre shopping, but almost everything is organic, fresh and they offer tons of locally-sourced products.

The usual Mexican store with a messy atmosphere cheap fruits vegetables sale every Tuesdays. I recommend their bakery Dept. Cake is delicious specially the flan with chocolate cake is very smooth & moist it melt into your mouth highly recommended their cakes. Cashiers & the manager should be reoriented in customer service.

It is not a bad place to go. They have 2 different stations for food. One side you can get some tacos and other side you can have your chicken, carnitas and other hot meals to go.
