I have gone to Home Depot for a garage door opener and a hot water heater. Both were installed by Home Depot...they have been outstanding in their service and communication with me on both projects. I have tried Lowes but the Home Depot service and installers were both quick and efficient in their work. Lowes was terrible.... Im all in with Home Depot. I ordered my water heater through Bob and he was a delight. Very knowledgeable and down to Earth. Thank you, Bob. I ordered at 11:30am and had the new water heater installed by 2:30pm the SAME DAY....GREAT WORK HOME DEPOT & THANK YOU.......

Do NOT get items installed from this store. I just moved into a new construction and purchased items from Home Depot regularly starting off. However, their installation team/contractors have been an absolute nightmare to work with.For instance, I bought a washer/dryer from Home Depot and paid for delivery/installation. Upon arriving, the delivery drivers (who are also the installers) attempted to walk through my house in shoes which were JUST dirtied from outside. When I asked them to wear foot protection or remove their shoes, they expressed they didnt have foot protection in their truck and would have to drop it off and return. I called Home Depot for an update and they had NO COMMUNICATION with the drivers. Not only that, they only give you 2 days to check for damages/defects, regardless of it was installed or not. How is one supposed to check for issues if it isnt even unboxed or installed?I also paid for a garage door installation which wouldnt close fully after the installer left. Home Depot made an empty promise to call me back and ultimately didnt even check up. I had to inspect it myself and found he didnt install the sensors correctly.Once again, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE FOR INSTALLATIONS! They hold no accountability for any issues experienced through their contractors, have extremely poor communication, and will extend no offer to resolve issues experienced by customers.

Very good. Good inventory and good service. Do not like the location of the checkout. The entrance and exit are too far apart. Not good if you have trouble walking.

Absolutely awful. First the flooring department wants to be completely unprofessional and mess up my floors and refuse to communicate with me, but now even the assistant store manager wont return calls after weeks of trying to reach him and his promises to remedy the situation.

I mean...its a home depot. If you are expecting first class anything then you will be disappointed. But if you want something specific and want to dash in, grab, and pay quickly its good. I cant rate big chain stores like this as 5 though because I like mom and pop type hardware stores and these stores kill those stores.

Best place for Halloween decor,,, but limited number of items at each store makes you search multiple Home Depots to find the seasons covered pieces, 12 foot Skeletons and 13 Infernos.

So I went and rented a wood splitter. First time around the machine didn’t do what it was supposed to do. I called and they gave me another machine, the toro. This machine man handled the tree trunks I was trying to chop, I mean like butter. Home Depot to the rescue. Stay safe everyone. God bless, great staff and even better service.

I am only giving this store two stars because we never made it into the store. I called ahead of time to make sure the store supplied mobility scooters for disabled guests but I did not ask how many the store had...my mistake. They had two...just two. Now the amount of Disabled parking spots was impressive so that was good but for a store as large as Home Depot I would have thought they had more than just two. So we had to leave to find a store that could accommodate me...which we did not. But thats okay...we always seem to figure things out. So I am giving the two star rating to represent your two carts.

Usually have what Im looking for however the customer service and employees could use some better training. Had to return my blinds that were cut crooked and oversized then what I had requested. Refused to pricematch an Ace Hardware ad. No other reason given other than they would probably be losing money by price matching the ad. They ended up losing almost a $1000 sale over a $20 pricematch and a life long customer.

I like this H.D. especially the garden center. Helpful and knowledgeable. They had exactly what I was looking for.

Curbside at this place is a joke. Called after 30 minutes. Rep asked if i checked in, and asked my name, and said theyd bring it out. They really need to get organized around the notification system for curbside. Ive had the same experience at all Home Depot locations Ive done curbside at.

Home Depot is great, this home depot not so much. It is laid out much different than other stores and the employees at this store are not very helpful. This location is much more disorganized and dirtier than other locations

Terrible customer service. Walked around appliances ready to purchase, but the employees were too busy sitting around a desk, laid back doing nothing, couldn’t get any help. Not the first time this has happened a this store with trying to get help. I made a great purchase at ABC, their customer service is excellent.

I always find what i need at Home Depot, and even if I dont, Ill find something to take home whether I need it or not.

I asked 4 different staff where I could find items and only 1 was able to help me. The first lady was wearing a Home Depot apron and moving Christmas lights around on a shelf and claimed she didnt work there. Im baffled by lack of help by staff but the nice gentleman that helped me with drain cleaner and to find gorilla glue was awesome. If only more of your employees were as nice and helpful.

Update: Between being told to wait 3-5 business days multiple times, the holidays, getting covid and me just putting it off, this was finally resolved 2 months later. I went into the Chesterfield store and was helped by two women at the customer service desk. I wish I could remember their names. I got the impression this was an uncommon error but they took the time to dig into it and get it resolved. A manager named Colleen gave the OK to reimburse me with a $100 gift card (I originally used a $75 gift card) to help make up for the hassle. I really appreciate these 3 employees taking the time to solve the issue and making it right.This review is for both the store and company overall. I placed an online order for a freezer to be delivered later in the week. I paid using a $75 gift card and the remaining balance with my credit card. The next day I received a voicemail and email from the local store. Basically there was a problem processing the order payment. After two phone calls to the local store I got no where. First I was told my order number didnt exist and when I called again to speak with John in major appliances he didnt answer nor did he call back. A pending charge with home depot is showing on my credit card. When I tried to place the order again online it said my gift card balance was zero. So home depot certainly got paid.I called customer support who confirmed that the order existed but there was a problem processing the payment. Thats about as specific as anyone has been regarding what happened. I was told I would have to wait 3-5 business days for a E-gift card. I need the freezer soon. I dont have time to wait 3-5 business days for a gift card to be emailed and then another 5 days for delivery.Another option was to place the order again using my credit card, dispute the first charge, and get a replacement gift card later. I dont want a replacement gift card that forces me to deal with this lousy company a second time. I guess I get to waste more time on the phone to get my gift card balance back.

Was promised delivery on Feb 16. Snow came so delivery was delayed. I would understand if it was delayed a couple days, but no. They re-scheduled me out another 2 weeks. This means i am waiting 5 weeks for a dang fridge.Worst service i have ever had. Home Depot does not give a flying f* about their customers.Never had this issue with ABC warehouse.

I give this home Depot near fairhaven a three-star for one reason one of the employees I went up to ask him a question period his reply was who cares his name is Frank period all the employees were very helpful and polite stores well overnight and people are willing to help you period if it werent for this one person Frank and I know its only one person. It wrecks the whole shopping experience we sent over $1,000 in this place for a worker to treat a customer like he treated me I dont know if it was the way I looked or what but you cant tell a person by the way they look. Get rid of this man Frank send them to the unemployment line period all the other workers were very helpful employed. Great store . I see this gentleman again I will walk the other way.

Just left a cart full of over $1000 of Milwaukee Packout boxes because the cashier and manager refused to match Ace Hardware down the street. Wouldnt give me a reason other than they wouldnt price match. Just lost over a $1000 sale over a $40 price match. Pathetic. Wont be coming back to this store ever.

The store had very helpful staff that was willing to check even other stores to see if they had the item I was looking for in stock. I would recommend this store highly as their staff is very helpful.

I like Home Depot very much, I get what I need and Im in and out very fast, very friendly and helpful and professional.

Wasnt approached at all while looking at appliance and even when I was just looking for a trash can while 3 associates were next to us talking. Of course I could have asked for help, but I work retail and I understand how situations like this should work. I found everything I needed, but was honestly just disappointed. Ive had better experiences at HD before so for this one to just fall well below expectations was a let down.

I tried to purchase a trailer instore, meet with an associate outside said I would buy it for the price on the trailer, all the same trailers were priced the same, when we walked into the store I was told I had to pay $700 more than what was marked outside. I meet with the store manager who said he would meet me half way. I was unaware you can change your price during the purchase, they would not honor their marked prices on the items.

Very disappointed in the lack of products in the store. Home Depot has always been our first choice in home improvement stores. Unfortunately we had to go to Lowes for the products we were looking for. In the future if time permits, we will go to another Home Depot; the Warren location always seems to have what we need. Recluctantly we are forced into going to Lowes if we need something immediately. Please work on stock at the Chesterfield location. On an upside, a couple of store associates we spoke with were extremely nice and helpful.

Polite staff. Clean and fully stocked shelves. Quick and friendly service at checkout and throughout the store.

Lots of products. Veterans discount. They will do one cut on wood for free. Usually easy to get someone to help. Home goods depot not ss big as other stores. Was on scooter very difficult to maneuver around tile display area. Tight isles to corner around . Someone was at the help area for tile_ carpet couldnt get by at all

I do not remember the man who was around 60 and work in the plumbing section. Told him I just bought a whole kitchen appliance package from them and got delivered today. I needed fitting gs to connect the gas stove, water and electric for dishwasher and water line connector for refrigerator. The microwave didnt need anything. He was so rude and upset that I needed help finding what I needed even though I told him. I left there with only electric cord for dishwasher and water connector for refrigerator. I had papers for the rest that came with appliances for what I needed but said he didnt understand what I was talking about and that they do not carry any of that even though they sold me all of the Samsung appliances. Home Depot needs better help. Very displeased

Bought a new in the box lg dryer. Installed and electrical hooked up. The dryer doesnt work. Tested the outlet, got power. Tested the hook up at the back of the machine, got power. Pressed the power button and get nothing. Called Home Depot, their people say to call LG within 48 hours for service. I say, wait just got delivered a day ago, doesnt work. Take it back and get me a new out of the box dryer that works. Nope, not how we do things. Call LG. Will never buy even a light bulb fro Home Depot ever again. And I will continue to tell the public on every public forum I can find!!

Chesterfield Home Depot has by far the most belittling cashiers I have ever come across. Not only that, they Do Not practice social distancing. Shameful.

It was fine. Very difficult to find somebody to help you. However, after 25 minutes of waiting the guy that finally arrived was very helpful.

This home depot never has what you need. Inventory is consistently sparse. If you want a better HomeDepot experience go to the one on Hall Road. To make things worse, this store also does not enforce the mask law and even helps those mask-less customers. Ill be taking my business to Menards where they take public health seriously.

I drive past 2 different home improvement stores to get to this one. Through the pandemic, Home depot has been great. People are still friendly and willing to assist. They dont just point and go in the opposite direction. They have gone the extra mile and have gained my trust that they are looking out for their customers.

Keep those sheds outside locked! Opened the door on one and found someone living inside. Beer cans, poop, pee and a man sleeping in the corner. Wont be doing that again! We will be shopping online.

Consistently the worst shopping experience Ive ever had. Ive been here many times over the years, and the employees are constantly rude, as if youre an annoyance at best. Their customer service is terrible, the store is often dirty compared to competitors, and their rebate center _never_ gives you the amount you deserve. And if you call to try to get it corrected, they drop your call or misdirect you to keep you on hold until you give up. Again, this is from many experiences.Avoid Home Depot in general, but this store in particular is terrible.

I just ordered cellular blinds today. Home Depot set me up with measurements and installation. Then walked me through the entire process of ordering to make sure I got what I wanted. Then they financed it 0% for 6 months. Incredible I was worried about spending the money because Im off work for the stay at home order. I want to say thank you to Victoria who worked with me all the way through this. I really appreciate it and thank you.

Ordered a refrigerator and obviously expected delays with the pandemic and such. Delivery date comes around, the company they contract out send two guys out to deliver and find it’s going to be a tight squeeze through the door. They don’t know how to take the handles off the refrigerator and will have to send another crew out that does. Why did they give the crew the refrigerator in first place. Bad reflection on the store but come on know who your crews are.

Employees are helpful and usual have most items in stock unlike Lumberjack on 23 Mile Rd.

Rented a pickup truck for my large patio umbrella. Transaction was smooth and well. Would definitely comeback if a need comes up!
