FORMER EMPLOYEE(thankfully) - I worked for this company for 5 months. It was BY FAR the most miserable 5 months Ive ever experienced working for an employer...When you go in for the interview prepare to be LIED to because thats about the only way they can recruit people! Youll most likely be interviewed by a chubby white guy with a goatee named Kevin. Hell seem nice, calm, relaxed... Hell tell you that hell be transparent with you... Thats where the BS starts....Youll be told when you interview that they pay between $11-12 an hour(FAR lower than industry average). Youll be told that on any given day, youll have between 8-12 stops, you may have to merchandise(work) 2-3 of them and if you do, the load wont be more than 10-15 cases of product... Thats where they get you because it sounds like very simple work!What youll REALLY be doing on any given day is doing between 6-15 stops(if not more), working at least HALF IF NOT ALL of them(meaning youll work the product onto the shelves at accounts), and typically working loads that consist of 20+ cases of product per account. There were several days Id only have 8-10 stops on my route but Id have to work 6-8 of them and each stop had 30-50+ cases of product... A far cry from the workload I was told about when I interviewed...Oh, but the fun and BS doesnt stop there! Youll also notice that they will NOT take you back into the warehouse... Why you may ask? Well, because they definitely dont want you to see all the expired damaged product they still try to sell PLUS all the broken equipment youll be working with.....Within your first week of employment here youll realize every single truck in their fleet is salvage garbage with issues everywhere... Broken doors, broken mirrors, broken suspension... Issues upon issues... As well as broken pallet jacks and dollies! Whats worse is they dont fix ANYTHING... You can tell them about the issues til youre blue in the face and Kevin will just laugh about it... I would know, he laughed in my face a few times...This is EASILY the biggest joke of a distribution company Ive ever seen... They lie to you about workload. 95% of the fleet of trucks are broken in some way and they lead to injuries all the time (I fell victim as well!). The two primary people in management (Kevin & Bob) are the laziest SOBs Ive ever seen and are absolutely careless about everything EXCEPT money. You ARE NOTHING BUT A BODY to them.... Theyre also absolutely clueless about running a company successfully....When you go out in the field youll realize real quick youre working for careless idiots. Every retailer and account I went to absolutely HATED this company... And because this company is so hated out in the field, youll get the brunt of everything from retailers and accounts. Meaning youre always getting yelled at because salesmen never show up. Accounts dont hear from the company for MONTHS. No one comes to work/rotate the product (theyre too cheap to hire merchandisers thats why the drivers get to do it...)...At the end of the day, this company NEEDS to be shut down for not only their shady business practices; but MOST importantly HOW they treat their drivers. Never fixing equipment and realistically subjecting drivers to a dangerous work environment daily!!

I worked for Webb and Gerritsen for two years and it was my first warehouse job so I didnt really have much expectation of what goes on in a warehouse. I didnt understand what a good company or warehouse environment was until I left and with that hindsight I now know that this company doesnt do anything the way things should be done. The owners Bob and Kevin are extremely unrealistic when it comes to your work load and will put you through misery and meaningless tasks constantly.Webb and Gerritsen is a terrible company, always making mistakes and extremely shady. See Shawn Gs review, he about sums the whole place up. The picture is from their damage section and they arent above whipping dates off of product which Im pretty sure is illegal some way or another. I was also a salary employee and they shorted me on my finale paycheck paying me for one less day than I was deserved. My experience is one of the better ones unfortunately compared to how some other employees have been treated. Ive heard about people being told they would get a raise but then never have the raise on their paycheck, vacation time not being given, and taxes that were supposed to be taken out but never were.As for how they treated their customers, they dont really care about accounts if youre a customer looking to buy from them. They will try to send out nasty repackaged/damaged product just to try and save a buck. Also if you order a case of something and its missing a bottle or two they will try and put a different flavor in the case to make it a full case. They are always out of product and constantly pushing stores delivery days back. This place is more focused on themselves and the profit they can make as opposed to customer satisfaction.Their equipment and trucks are a disaster. A truck is breaking down every other day and are extremely unsafe and they put their drivers in very unsafe situations. They will send trucks out with bad breaks, flat tires and missing mirrors, just to name a few, because they are too cheap to fix them. Regular maintaince is never done on the vehicles or any of their warehouse equipment. The upper management doesnt care about the safety of the employees and would rather just try to make and extra dollar.For customers and job seekers I would HIGHLY advise staying away from this place. I suggest customers find a different vendor such as General Beverage or a more reputable company and job seekers should just keep looking. STAY AWAY from Webb and Gerritsen. I wouldnt touch them with a 100 ft pole.

Stay away from this place. We are always receiving outdated product and product that looks as if the dates have been wiped off.

Seriously the worst distributor Ive ever had to deal with. Never delivers when they say they are going to, cant seem to get their act together. Total lack of accountability and management.
