Its a wonderful shop great and friendly staff, the name changed however the staff is the same. Those guys know what to do and how put your car back after a accident.
Very professional staff. They explained everything that needed to be done and scheduled an appointment that worked for both of us. The estimate was reasonable and they delivered the finished vehicle on the day they said it would be done. A big thanks to Ashley and Jaime.
This is the absolute BEST place to bring your car. I cannot give enough praise to the staff at American Coastal Collision. They clearly take pride in what they do. Their customer first attitude is superceded only by the quality of the work they do. They truly CARE about their customer base and it shows as they take you by the hand from start to finish during a time when many customers are feeling most vulnerable.

I have used them for ALL my vehicles body work. They stay first on my list. They guarantee their work and have great workmanship. As close to new as you are going to get in this area without breaking the bank.
Used them for a geico estimate. They lady who took the pictures was quick and friendly. Took very detailed pictures and had them in to geico by the end of the day.
BEWARE!!! AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!! MUST READ!!!I hadnt planned on posting this but after todays interaction with Ashley (see update at bottom), I felt I had to help others avoid this place.INITIAL INTERACTION: I contacted American Coastal Collision (ACC) and spoke with Klaus Langemann (Owner). He stated prior to repairs that they do not report to Carfax. THAT WAS A LIE!!! I LOST MONEY ON MY VEHICLE TRADE DUE TO DAMAGE REPORT!!! To top it off, they didnt even fix the vehicle properly. I had to return a second time for them to correct their unprofessional work!I was involved in a fender bender in a parking lot (other driver at fault). The damage was extremely minor, so filing an accident report or insurance was not necessary. Six months later, while trading my vehicle, I was baffled to find a damage report on Carfax!!!I contacted Klaus and explained the entire situation in depth: I contacted no other body shop, all transactions were handled with cash, the other driver did not file an insurance claim (nor did I), the dates of their estimate and Carfax damage report were the exact same day and I never gave my VIN to anyone but ACC. His response was, “well, it wasn’t us.” I reiterated that there was no possibility it was anyone else. Klaus then became very agitated, rude and began raising his voice at me. I was in disbelief? That’s how a business OWNER handles customer’s concerns? He then contradicted himself, stating it’s possible that their estimate software (CCC) released the information to Carfax. I requested that he call them to verify and he responded, “well even if they did report your info to Carfax, they’re not going to tell me the truth.” So, you entered my information into a system you don’t trust or even know what they do with that information….? Unbelievable!!!RESOLUTION: I had some scratches on my new 2019 Chevy Silverado from fender flares that came installed on my new truck. I was hoping he would agree to attempt to buff out the minor scratches as a courtesy and call it even. He finally agreed to look at it after multiple requests, by stating in a rude tone, “I’ll look at your truck!! Are you happy now!? Just bring in your truck!!” and then hung up the phone on me. When I arrived, in person, his abrasive demeanor changed but he still REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. Not surprising!He also stated that in 35yrs of business, he has never heard of this before. ANOTHER LIE!!! While explaining my situation to an acquaintance, they explained a similar experienced with ACC regarding incorrect data being added to their Carfax after having body work done at ACC. It ended up costing her a $3,000 loss on her vehicle trade. The Carfax reported the damage was far more severe than it actually was: air bags deployed, structural damage, etc. NONE OF THAT WAS PRESENT IN THE ACCIDENT AND HER ESTIMATE PROVED IT!! ACC refused to help!! I have also spoken with multiple vehicle salesman who state they have seen similar issues come from ACC relating to trading in vehicles.UPDATE: Called today (months later) regarding another matter, hoping to give them a second chance by fixing a small scratch on my new vehicle. Explained my previous experience to ASHLEY and was met with the same attitude, “We don’t report to Carfax.” She then said, “let me stop you right there because we don’t have any estimate availability until the end of February, so we cant help you! WHICH WAS A LIE!!! Thats three months later. I had a coworker contact them to verify with Ashley that they had availability for the following Tuesday for an estimate.... 3 days later.... GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ASHLEY!!!CONCLUSION: NEVER TRUST AMERICAN COASTAL COLLISION, ASHLEY OR KLAUS LANGEMANN’S BUSINESS ETHICS!!

Their work is a 5...Their customer service needs a dramatic up grading. They use a body shop rate book to repair, but refuse to give a ballpark estimate over the phone ...just to replace a fog light with no body damage. Found a competitor will to provide an acceptable figure, their performance was outstanding and 100usd below tendered quote.
They were able to get most of the work done, but had to send me to the dealership for electrical issues.
These guys were very helpful and professional, and provided me with a timely estimate. When I didnt proceed with the work due to the value of the car, they helped me get in touch with a potential buyer and took lots of photos for me. Much appreciated.
Everyone that I spoke with at the office was friendly and helpful. Jamie was especially helpful and honest. They worked with me and my insurance company, without any problems. My car was repaired in 2 days and looks like new. They cleaned my car, both inside and outside. I have already referred my stepdaughter there. Hopefully, I dont ever need repair work again, but if I do, I know where I will be going. Thanks again for the awesome customer service and repair job!
They worked me in in a pinch, and were incredibly professional. I noticed a flaw after the work was done, and two guys came out and respectfully explained what I was looking at. They were helpful without being condescending. The work was also done in a timely manner, with an appropriate quote and timeline.
This is the place you need to take your car to for repairs. The manager and his staff genuinely care about the quality of service they provide. The importance they place on customer care is made evident through the manner in which they interaction with their clients. In my personal experience with American Coastal Collision, not only was my vehicle repaired quicker than expected, they even went the extra mile and repaired damages to other parts of the car at no extra charge! Needless to say Im sold on this business practice, and should I need assistance again in the future, will be taking my vehicle to the same people.
This body shop is by far the best one that I have ever dealt with. I have been to a couple in this area, and when I decided to take a chance and take my vehicle there I was so happy with everything. The repairs on my car turned out amazing, my car looked pretty much brand new. They even cleaned the inside of my car out for me! The staff was so friendly, Ashley who works in the front office helped me out so much. She was so helpful and made sure that I was taken care of by the insurance company and the rental car place. So if you take your car to be fixed there make sure you ask for Ashley. I am definitely a loyal customer now!

It is a approved repair shop for many automobile brands. The staff is courteous. They are very thorough in providing you an estimate for the repairs. I saw their workshop. It is fully equipped for body work and other repairs. They have a branch in Greenville also. The President Jamie takes personal interest in creating estimates and supervising repairsOf the vehicles coming for repair in this shop.

After an accident that damaged the entire driver’s side of my car, I was nervous about where to get it repaired. I had been told in the past that the shimmer of my paint was incredibly hard to match. I was referred to American Coastal Collision by Riverside Subaru and they were an approved shop by my insurance.On my first visit to assess the damage, I was greeted with respect and never once felt judged. They even accommodated my request for a second quote for unrelated prior damage. The quote for all repairs and an alignment came in at several thousand dollars less than I had anticipated!While the time frame was a little vague, I was more than happy to wait and the quality of their work was well worth it! Looking at my car you would never know it have ever been damaged. The paint is a flawless match. I couldn’t be happier with the work I had done here.

Its been 2 years since I have had work done at ACC and they still continue to amaze me with their service. My front headlight had a short at the connector. I called and they said bring it in and we will take a look at it. They fixed the issue and I was on my way! This company knows what they are doing and they are very good at it. Do not take your car anywhere else, you will not be disappointed.

I arrived to pick my car up 10 minutes after closing. An employee still in the lot got out of his car and did everything possible to make sure I got my car right then. He made calls to the manager and clerk to finalize all the paperwork as well. Great customer service!
Wow. What a great experience. Our car was repaired on time and the repaired damaged was un-noticeable. Jamie & Clause were personable and kept me informed throughout the repair process. All I had to do was show up at American Coastal Collision and they handled EVERYTHING including setting up my rental car and aided in Insurance payment. What started out as being an accidental nightmare, ended up being a great experience. I will use them again (hope I dont need to) and refer them to everyone I know. These folks are the worst business people I have ever dealt with. Took my car for some repairs, got a quote. When they took off the back panel, there was more damage than they originally thought. They called me in to show me what else needed fixing, never did the son requote the job, mention $$, so imagine our surprise when we get my car and its hundreds of dollars more. Son then claims he told me it would cost more, father gets a wild hair, and of course he just knew the son told me more $$, where was he when son said that. We were actually going to split the difference, but father wouldnt hear anything else he says he loses $$ everyday, thats not something to admit!! Those two must have been having a very bad day.. they will not have to worry about the Heitlinger vehicles ever again!!

Doing this for a friend, he had very poor customer service, all the work that was suppose to be done was not completed. He was yelled at and intimidated, and is afraid to return to have a light fixed as it has fallen off recently. He stated he will never go back.
