It was very easy to set up an appointment in their website. The staff is very professional and nice. Mr. James offer us a coupon to save some money for today’s service and also included lifetime balance, rotation and flat tire service for our new tires. The service was excellent and timely! Special thanks to James! He was very helpful when my tire pressure light came on when I was an hour away from home! My dad called up while I pumped air in the tire into my then flat tire. I then drove over to Mr.Tire to see if I needed a patch on it, I came 30 minutes before closing time which I hate doing but James wanted to help. I made it back home safe and sound and my light didn’t come back on! If I ever get stuck in New Bern again, I’ll definitely come back! Thank you so much!

Took my Durango in thinking it needed an alternator but the guys checked it out and were honest and said the alternator was fine. Hard to find a place where they really look out for their customers. Would definitely recommend them.

In for 4 wheel alignment $350, oil change(providing my own oil and filter) $25 shop miscellaneous $35 and I have air ride system they had to call bmw to find out what the requirements where before they lift the car on a two post lift. The manager seems to very kind a courteous. Good that he called, if you dont its always good to ask.

Needed new tires so I came here, honestly expecting to have to have them ordered in and wait a couple days to get them on. I walked in and told them I needed tires and they were able to put them on right away, and at a good price. The guys here were nice and quick. Ill definitely be coming back here for my next set ❤️

I had the best experience at this location today. Chris was wonderful! From my initial phone call with him, I then realized why it didn’t work out at the first 3 places I attempted to get an inspection. (No inspector on site. No one wants to work these days.) Four was a charm for me today! I will be going here from now on! Great customer service (which is few and far between these days).

Great Service, Professional, steps thru the various option. I had an alignment completed, and both there service tech, Danny, and the Manager kept me in the loop and reviewed the before and after settings to specification. I observed the manager providing pricing options to folks, no high pressure sales tactics. Im a Maintenance Engineer and recommend these folks.

Mr. Tire came through in the clutch when my 2016 Honda Odyssey broke down in New Bern on my way to the beach with my three children. On the hottest day of the year and after being turned away by Joe Pecheles Honda, the team at Mr. Tire stopped what they were doing on a busy Friday afternoon, and got us back on the road immediately. My husband brought his vehicle to Mr. Tire to have the oil changed and the technician act like he didnt know what to do and then they wanted to charge my husband extra money to have his the tires rotated on his vehicle. I am very disappointed in the service today,we come here all the time for an oil change and never went through this. There are too many new technicians here. We will not be back.

Every time I went to this place to get my car checked out, I was always welcomed with a smile and great customer service. Chris and Shane ( I think that’s how he spell it) are awesome!! They’re really sweet to their customers and talk to them with such respect. The guy that does the work on my car( I don’t know his name but I know his face lol) he does a great job with getting things done in a timely matter. GREAT PLACE!!

I noticed my tire was almost flat while going on lunch break when working out of town on a Sunday ( I live in Jacksonville). Every other tire store was closed but I saw this location was open and very close so I drove over. They were extremely busy but allowed me to leave my car in the parking lot and go back to work. When I came back a few hours later my tire was already fixed and full of again again and I didn’t have to even wait!Everyone was super friendly and informativeI’m so thankful they got me taken care of and I was able to get back home lolWill definitely be going back for any of my vehicles needs. Had my tires replaced at another company but was in the New Bern area and called Mr. Tire and explained that my tire was wobbling and steering wheel was shaking. They had me come in and although they were super busy they made sure to get my car in and checked out. Shane and Jay went out of their way to explain everything and found that my lug nuts on my front tires weren’t tightened all the way and I was going to drive to Jacksonville, Florida. They wanted to make sure I was safe. I really appreciate them taking the time and helping me when I was worried. Definitely would be buying my next set of tires here if I wasn’t moving!

Last few times I have been here I have never had poor service. Great people, great atmosphere, and really understanding. Was just there Friday night and they looked over my entire car, flushed my brake lines and I was out of there quick! I really never have to worry when I come here.

I asked about getting an inspection and their inspector apparently just left for the day, even though I had called earlier to ask how late they could perform inspections, and I got there in plenty of time. I decided to go somewhere else.

I was able to come in and get a tire serviced very quickly. Chris and the staff at Mr. Tire worked me in to their very busy schedule and I was blessed. I will definitely return.

Went in for a simple vehicle inspection shortly after they had opened. There were no other customers there but I was made to schedule an appointment for 4pm. that evening. I went elsewhere and had my inspection done within am hour.

While traveling to New Bern for a family visit I had a tire go flat out of no where, on a Sunday when most businesses are closed. While the road side assist guy was able to change out my dead tire for my spare donut, he did not recommend, nor did I feel safe traveling back to Virginia on a donut tire. When googling tire shops near me this business was the ONLY one open on a Sunday. So first...thank you for being open. Chris, the manager answered the phone and frankly I was surprised at how kind and reassuring he was in my panic. He assured me that if I brought in my tire his mechanic could find the problem and fix it before they closed. He was true to his word, and even kinder upon my arrivsl. In less than 30 minutes his mechanic, Jalon, came out and explained to me what caused my flat and told me it would only take a minute to fix it, which he did. Then he brought my tire out to my car and changed out the donut with my newly repaired tire, and did that free of charge. He was very pleasant and I left feeling safe . THIS is what Customer Service is supposed to look like. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you Chris and Jalon!

Awesome service brought my car in for check engine light they were able to test and made me aware of any issues that came up. NO HASSLE shop ran me by my issues and only recommended the urgent issues to be fixed first will definitely be back for my other issues. Didnt break the bank with my repairs and all around the best customer service.

As a 21yo woman who knows slightly more than nothing about cars, Im no stranger to being taken advantage of at mechanics. However, this place has NEVER done that to me. Ive been here quite a few times since moving to new bern, always for regular maintenance things. Theyre amazing. any questions I have, I always get in depth answers that are explained to me in an easy to understand way. I never get a condescending tones. Also, compared to what Ive spent on the same things in the past, I think their prices are reasonable. Also, they have the drive card available for when youre in a pinch! I will greatly miss these guys when I move again. Theyve helped me more than they even know!

For those that dont like to read, go to Discount Tire. Never had a problem there and would give them 6 stars if I could. Regarding Mr. Tire, I initially left a 5 star review because the staff was very helpful in correcting an issue that another Mr. Tire location failed to execute. As it turns out, this issue is going to cost me more than a new set of tires, as 3 out of 4 wheel bearings need to be replace. After speaking with a manager at both locations, I thought we had come to an agreement for a pro-rated replacement, which would have been acceptable. Now I have been told that basically, it was my fault. How many people have been lied to and scammed by this company. Owned by one of the largest tire and auto repair companies in the US. No wonder I have trust issues with these places.

New to town and needed a new set of tires. I picked this place due to the great reviews and I made a good choice. Shane at the counter was polite and professional and talked me through the charges. He offered me upgrades and it never felt pushy. I’ll take my car here again for regular maintenance because I feel like this is an honest shop.

I wish I could give Mr. Tire more than five stars! I needed a new set of tires and I called and spoke with Jordan and he helped me pick a new set of tires and was able to get me in the same day. I got there at 5 and was out of there by 6! It was quick, easy, and painless. The price was unbeatable and the customer service from Jordan was outstanding. The whole staff was professional and knowledgeable. I never felt taken advantage of or pressured to get more services than what I was asking for. I would recommend Mr. Tire to anybody, and do yourself a favor and ask for Jordan!

I coming to realize this chain takes advantage of anyone at any opportunity... they serviced many of my cars for oil changes, tire rotations, and balancing! They the only ones I trusted to service these jobs until they told me I lost the oil pan bolt... mind you to lose the bolt to drain the oil, someone had to take it off! A replace bolt was going to cost me 375.00 bc it’s attached to the oil pan. A mistake they made and wanted me to pay for. I kindle towed my truck from there location to the Chevy dealership. Bye bye Mr.tire...,

LOVE THIS PLACE!! I gotta say as a woman I’m always nervous when I take my car into a shop without my husband with me because some shops really try and take advantage of a female but NOT Mr Tire. I don’t have to worry when I take it to MR TIRE IN NEW BERN! They helped me so much! My husband bought 4 tires from there about 6 months ago I had a nail in one and it was leaking air I took it to Mr Tire and Jimmy and manager Shane fixed it with no problem! I also wanted an oil change, they did it fast and they kept me informed about everything and didn’t try and take advantage of me and my wallet like some places do. I will ALWAYS come here! Customer for life because of their awesome customer service and knowledge.

Hernandez immediately stopped what he was doing to make sure my tires were well balanced as I was nervous about traveling back home (brother in law was just killed in a car accident), Jordan gave me stellar service and a thorough explanation of the products you all had available and my options and explained the condition that my ikd tire was in, Danny was super fast in putting on my tire as I had to hit the road before dark. I really needed my van inspected and was running late for work. I let Mr.tire know and they said dont worry and I was out in 10min. Mr.hernedez, who inspected my vehicle was very helpful and kind, he even told me what was needed to be replaced and showed my why. Most people know it’s hard to find a place that you trust to do good, honest car care. Today I came to Mr. Tire to get new rotors/brake pads and I needed to new tires as well. My tire size is not easy to find and the only ones they had in stock were too expensive for what I was looking for. Instead of telling me they couldn’t help me and it was either the tires they had or nothing at all Shane got one the phone and called tire centers around the city to see who had them in stock, negotiated a fair price, then drove me over there so I could purchase them and have them brought back to be put on my car. They seem to run a very genuine honest business and I highly recommend them for any car care needs in New Bern!

I had been driving around with no windshield fluid due to a crack in the reservoir or some such thing I had been told elsewhere. I went to Mr. Tire to get an oil change and also asked them to check a tire that had been losing air, I dont think I mentioned the fluid leak, because I didnt have the money for an expensive fix. They changed the oil, fixed the tire which turned out to have a nail in it, AND told me that the windshield wiper fluid hose was not connected, but they hooked it back up. I was very grateful for their honesty. Sadly these days you just dont know.... So yes I totally recommend them! Two days later my daughter took her van there and was also very pleased.

This afternoon I went into Mr. Tire with issues with tire pressure and not knowing very much about the issue. All the guys were very informative and helpful with what needed to be done. Very honest and great to work with!
