AMAZING STAFF !! came in today for some old records (I didn’t think it was possible to get records dating back to 2012) but the ladies at the front desk did an amazing job at finding them ...... my wait time was less than 2 minutes..... they were very polite and welcoming :) thanks ladies !!! :)

After being informed my glasses would arrive in two weeks - the “promised by” date, it is now week three and I have not received them. With such a large box company, one would presume efficiencies and on time delivery would be common practice. That does not seem to be the case with this location.

To start off very rude customer service. Taking my service somewhere else due to the doctor being a joke making me pay double over a mistake that he made. They all look like they don’t even know what they are doing there, if it was possible I wouldn’t even bother and give them one star.

I have not had my eyes examined in over 16 years and I have to say that everyone from the front desk to the Dr to the lady that assisted me with picking out my glasses was so amazingly friendly and helpful and understanding. This is almost rare in Customer Service and is very appreciated. I recommend all of my coworkers and friends visit this establishment for eye care needs.

Everytime I’ve ordered from them it’s taken WAY Longer than projected. I’m always told 7-10 business days but then that turns into about a month. Never fails. Luckily I only had to wait 23 days this time. When I ordered my glasses I told the girl several times I wanted to look at the coach frame but she insisted I look at their cheap $79 frames. Smh. Treated me like I couldn’t afford anything. Acted like she didn’t wanna sell me insurance. Just awful. Never a good experience.

I love this office!!! The very best customer service in the town of New Bern, maybe even NC. I have never once walked in without a warm greeting from the staff. Their kindness and helpfulness is always so genuine, and truly makes a customer return. You will NOT find another business as wonderful as MyEyeDr. of New Bern.

I will not be back. First, when I ordered my glasses and both of my sons glasses, two of the three pairs took a very long time to come in, about a month. Turned out they ordered something wrong, but they kept making excuses. While they werent very apologetic about it, one of the employees did deliver the glasses to me on her way home when they finally did come in.My husband went there for the first time in December for a routine exam and new glasses. They pressured him into having expensive photos taken off his eyes which he didnt realize would not be covered under our vision policy. On top of that, the exam them became an unnecessary medical exam, not covered by our vision insurance. I was told when I went in today that he was being treated for a neoplasm, which he is totally unaware of. I believe it is a total scam. I believe they use their expensive machine to dupe people into paying a lot more money and to be able to bill medical ins. rather than vision insurance. Stay away. Lucky brand glasses are also not impressive, both of my sons lens frames came unsoldered in the same place. Cheaply made product.

STAY AWAY. Dr. Presson should not be a practicing doctor with the way he rushes through an exam and then provides horribly wrong prescriptions. On top of that, this company who has a motto including the word family is AWFUL. They couldn’t care less about their customers. $600 pair of glasses that I can’t even wear. Thanks for nothing.

I am not going to forget the time there was this rude and mean assistant once and yelled at me I hope she’s doing good now.

Really great helpful staff took time to help me pick out my new glasses:) and Dr. Presson was wonderful at getting my contacts just right for me ! Highly recommend them.

One of the worst services for eye care, I recommend Carteret eye vison. I took a gamble with this eye dr and worst service and experience I’ve had. Lady just threw my sunglasses at me and didn’t even ask if I wanted them fitted. Seemed irritated that I I kept sending that to adjust the frames. “Just have to take their word for the warranty” is not a good warranty. Save your time and money, go to a caring professional establishment.

The doctors seem to be great but some of the customer service people behind the counter are in the wrong line of work. I dont know if its lack of training or if the person I dealt with didnt want to be there. Rude, unfriendly, made me feel like I was bothering them and just a bad disposition all the way around. Sorry.😕

They are over priced, and arent very kind. They tried to make me use a warranty for glasses they broke...then said I didnt have to....when I returned to use the warranty they told me I already used it. Then when I called back to speak to a manager she said the warranty was still good. Lack of communication on their part. I will not go back to them! They also charged me $100 for a warranty, come to find out my insurance covers a broken pair! Total RIP OFF. Will be going to the place in Trent woods where they work with you, and actually try to get you discounts, and are honest.

Absolutely the very best people and service in town. Dr. McKeel is second to none. If you want a great experience with an eye dr, then this is the place to go.

Eye testing was thorough, staff efficient and knowledgable.

My wife, son, and I were very pleased with our eye exams preformed by Dr. Presson. My wife and son need new glasses and they got their new glasses 5 days earlier then promised. Thank you!!

My first exam in 2 years. Went for a new set of glasses and contacts. I noticed my vision wasnt right in my right eye and made a second appointment to have my NEW glasses fixed. I went in for my 2nd prescription and I still complained about darkness and funky vision in my right eye. They told me it was my brain adjusting to my new glasses. I said ok but I didnt feel any better. I told my mother in law and she made me an eye appointment with an actual eye doctor. Well I found out that I have something called central serous retinopathy in my right eye. I have fluid behind my retina which distorts my vision. Long story short, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Oh, the new doctor said I was the 5th patient this week that had gone to My Eye Doctor in New Bern.
