Visiting from out of the region and just had to stop at the iconic Piggly Wiggly. What a wonderful, helpful and happy staff! And those collard greens from the hot food section- to die for! My home store (Kroger) back in Indiana, could take a lesson. Piggly Wiggly, you were the high point of my trip!

The dinners there are great. Have had one three days this week. Good old country cooking. Very nice workers.

The Manager and store are Aces in my Book,,,had stopped in Maysville Location and purchased some Hotdogs to grill.They were spoiled and no good,, pure down Slimy,,,, contacted the Manager Rick and he had no concern it seemed about it.The Manager in New Bern was then contacted because the Maysville Manager said I could only return to thier location to exchange said spoiled items,,,even with a receipt.However,,the Manager Ioana,,(((Hope I spelled that correctly))) told us to just bring the items there and he would be happy to exchange said items and not make us go all the way back to Maysville,,,so I would recommend going to the New Bern location over anywhere else if you want fresh food and a welcome caring atmosphere to shop in!!!

Everything is overpriced I came and I left without a purchase this was a store I could always go to for good quality and price things have changed

This place is amazing. The manager mr. Danny is very very helpful. He is very knowledgeable about what is in his store where it is at. He will go and beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied. Evidently he is a great judge of character because all his employees are very nice they will also go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. He makes that an amazing experience to shop as long as Im in the New Bern area I will never shop at another grocery store in this case the price doesnt matter the service is outstanding I love this store is is my go-to for everything food and the deli section is amazing

This location has a deli with hot food. It tends to be a bit salty, which I personally love. Its very good. Otherwise, the store is fairly well organized. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Great to know they keep butchers on hand, that all of the big chains have done away with and made them all meat stokers slowly becoming a dying skill, for the love of money. This is what I done with the meat.

If you watch their weekly flyer, they have some really great deals on their meat. The shelves are always stocked well and the store associates are very friendly. They even are more than willing to carry your parcels to your car.

Edit to add- they close at 9 now on weekdays not 10. I love how they walk you to your car and assist with putting your groceries in your car. I have used their check cashing service, without issue, many times. They have the best meat selection around and a great selection of produce. I suggest joining their loyalty program to earn rewards and to get your receipt digitally.

I enjoy shopping the piggly wiggly. The butchers are very knowledgeable and more than willing to assist in fulfilling your desired cut of meat order. They are not the only employees and everyone in the store are very knowledgeable and courteous. They are trained for customer service by the owner. Danny has had over 30+ years in the grocery business and I can tell (you treat the customers as you would like to be treated).

They have the best produce in town. I went in to get cantalope, watermelon, tomatoes, and peaches. We had to wait a day on the peaches, as I like mine very ripe. Everything else was perfect.

Best hot to-go country food meal in town! The ladies back in the back know how its done right!! Best fried chicken in Craven County!!!..:0).

Place has the best sales its an older place but I tell you what I love shopping here youre always spoke to the always say hello all of the people everything is just so nice. They put in clean things everything wiped off when it needs to be. Everything are front and faced when they need to be they keep it clean all the time you always see them moving nobody sits around this is the store I love to shop at you will too. The 3 stars are for the 3 courteous young men who were so kind to my wife. The young man restocking the dairy products, the young man in the frozen food department, and the young man helping customers at check out. The two remaining stars were deducted because of the older adult cashier who was quit rude. She should take her lead from the 3 young men.

1st time there small but complete market straight to the point.

No. I seen sausages on the sale shelf that were molded and wouldve been hazardous. If you want fresh food that you can trust then please go to the Walmart Neighborhood Market about a mile up the road.

Not my first choice of shopping but it has low prices and good produce. Theres also a deli you can order fresh food from which is pretty good. My only real complaint is the smell; most of the time, if not always, it has an oder and I just cant stand it.

Two day sale on fresh vegetables, asparagus, sweet corn and snap beans for 98 cents a pound. Had some for dinner and they were awesome!
