Fabulous experience! Cathy made my long distance move much easier by working with me so I could move in when I arrived over a holiday weekend. When I realized I needed an additional unit, she notified me as soon as one was available. The gated premises and great lighting make the units feel safe and secure, and accessible after dark. AND, Cathy walks around regularly checking on the facility and notifies you immediately of any issue (I hadnt secured my lock correctly!) Highly recommend! And thank you!

Ive recently had the courtesy of doing business with Tryon Mini Storage and meeting their agent Mrs. Kathy, I hope I didnt get her name wrong because she was the absolute best. Anyway I was tired, limping and just not feeling up to what I thought was going to be a long, boring and dreadful process but Mrs. Kathy made the visit seem very timeless. Overall, the units are always clean and kept really well. Very professional environment!!!!! Great choice for me and my family.

NEAT, CLEAN, FRIENDLY, GREAT LOCATION!!!!!! This was my first experience with a business in the New Bern area. My wife and I moved here from Pennsylvania and needed a storage unit for our belongings while we close on our house there. From the first phone call I made, Cathy at the desk made me feel like I was a member of a family. Warmhearted, down to earth and caring customer service is important to me as I myself have spent more than 30 years serving the public, and she is all of those and more. Professional and efficient, she made our arrangements and everything progressed just as she said it would. I had to unload my rental truck by myself, and she checked to make sure I was OK in the heat and humidity, and brought me cold drinks and snacks! The units themselves are spotless. The office is neat clean and organized. The climate controlled portions of the facility are very comfortable to work in during the heat of the day. The location is PERFECT, easily accessible, no matter which direction youre coming from. If you need a unit, stop looking and BOOK ONE HERE!!!! Thank you again Cathy for being GREAT!!!

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a storage unit. I swear I called everywhere before calling Tryon Mini Storage. I was blown away with Cathys customer service skill! She found me a unit right away and was able to hold it for me until I could come claim it. When I came to pick up the keys she had everything ready for me. We went to check out the unit and she noticed the door could use some greasing, so before I moved in she had that done and the unit cleaned out as well! Exceptional Service!

In 34 years Ive never experienced such good customer service as Miss Kathy... Their units are clean, security fences security cameras. You could not ask for a better storage unit place one day I want to open my own storage unit place and I will definitely talk to the owner about how he went about it because it is top-notch. Called around to a few locations for a 10x10 unit and got a quick and friendly response from Cathy at Tryon Mini Storage. Although a unit was not available at the time, I was able to get one the following week. Cathy was very helpful and very responsive to calls. After going to the office I noted the storage lot was very clean and had multiple video cameras on the lot. So far, I am very happy going with them and a bonus is that they are less than 2 minutes from my workplace.

I spoke with Kathy and she was wonderful! She was very informative and accomadating to our particular storage needs. It was a blessing that all arrangements could be made over the phone.

I love the energy of the Ms. Cathy the office manager. She was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. The customer service she displayed was so refreshing. The pricing were better than other storage facilities. I love that there are no hidden fees or agendas. The storage units were very clean, I was really pleased by that. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to provide some small push carts to assist with loading and unloading in the climate controlled units. Its not a big deal just a sugesstion. I would refer all I know to this business. Thank you for doing what you do, and doing it well. You made us feel like we were more than just business/money. We felt the love.

Tryon Mini Storage is a nice facility. Very friendly and informed staff. Price is a bit on the high side but seems to be a good choice for me. Units are well protected. Their all you need for your storage needs.

Excellent experience! I am speechless with how kind and professional they are. They came back and checked on my daughter and I while cleaning out our unit. They offered water and an ice pop to me and my daughter. They called a locksmith when I left my key in NY. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a storage unit in New Bern!

My experience was great I needed a unit but wasn’t quite sure what size I needed Cathy showed me the unit first so I could decide she kept in contact with me about reserving my unit & was so kind she made me feel like my unit would be safe at all times & was so friendly you don’t get that now a days I could tell before even meeting her she loved her job also once I got there she offered for me to ride in the go cart to look at the units since it was so hot out they had refreshments in the office & you get a lock & key for free definitely recommend Tryon

Cathy is amazing! She was very friendly and polite. She explained all the terms and conditions to me thoroughly . She made sure the unit was clean and sprayed for bugs! She also, came to check on me to make sure I was able to fit all of my belongings inside. I would definitely recommend this location to others!

Called yesterday afternoon to see what was available. They not only had the size I was looking at a great rate, but they were super nice and happy to do whatever was needed. Went 15 mins before they closed, and not a single worry or care about closing time. Lady at desk answered every question I had with no issues and was a pleasure to work with. Took the time to show me the unit and talked me through everything I needed to know. It is so nice to be able to go to a business that works as good as it looks. Great job fixing the place up to the new owners and great way to earn business. If you are looking for a storage unit, call Tryon and ask questions. Cathy was so sweet and super helpful during the sign up process (with my six year along for the fun). Moving & shuffling stuff is never fun, but it helps to have pleasant professionals along the way. We have also returned a uhaul trailer to this location before and it was done efficiently & professionally. Just the sort of thing needed after a 1000 mile drive. Great central location in New Bern.

To say I was stressed after hurricane Florence would be an understatement. My house was destroyed by an oak tree. I had to scramble to salvage and store as many belongings as I could. The entire staff was helpful in providing trucks and storage units to make that happen. They were fast, friendly, courteous, and professional. I cant recommend Tryon Mini Storage more highly.

Based on my experience, these are the worst storage conditions I have observed and ownership does not seem to take pride in the conditions offered. Some of the positive reviews on here are from current employees. All of my furniture is infested with rats or vermin and cannot be brought into my new home. My golf clubs are covered in vermin feces and rats have been crawling in my golf bag. My christmas wrapping paper has been chewed by vermin. Rats are inside my box spring. My letters and personal effects have feces in them. There is evidence of vermin nests in my unit. There is no food stored in my unit. The owner offered one month rent refund which does not come close to the damages. There was no evidence of rat controls around my unit and when I asked them to show me where rat controls were located, there were none as evidenced by photos. The situation inside my unit is filthy as evidenced by photos. I am surprised by the lack of taking responsibility for their actions when a vermin infestation is preventable. A reasonable person should expect this type of prevention when paying for storage.

Great service with clean units. They also do Uhaul rentals and usually have a large selection of trucks allowing for walk in rentals. They also sell moving supplies like boxes, bubble wrap ext and their prices are cheaper than Walmart.

Clean, secure. Unfortunately their office is frustrating. We had to change credit cards because of fraud and forgot our unit was on the account. They didnt notify us until we decided to check. Turns out they were going to auction our unit later that week....When I questioned why they did not call to confirm payment, they said they dont until the days before the auction. We are military and out of town a lot, this could have put us in a serious position. 2 months later, we went to open our unit and it had a double lock on it. I caught the guy as he was leaving to close, they never took the lock off from the payment issue. SUPER frustrating. I notice they put a lot more billing attention to the Uhaul service than the units.

Great place for keeping all your storage needs with security.

Its what you need, they have it there for you to rent a U Haul / Rent a cargo van and pick up truck, and U Haul truck / pull a U Haul at any size / U Haul moving truck in any size and a tow dolly to pull vehicles or trailer too ! ! I like TryonMini Storage and U Haul ! I be going back out there again !
