Went in for a state inspection. Pretty cut and dry. Was in and out in about 20 minutes.

I have been to Surefire many times and, in my opinion, John does a very good job. I have several cars and I live right next door to another very good mechanic, but takes my cars to John (10 miles away) because in the long run- he fixes only what needs to be fixed and he charges me fairly. All in all, I feel like he has my back and I trust him. Good mechanic.

We have been there for inspections, tire rotations, oil changes, brakes, as well as for other issues, and will be sticking with Surefire as long as we live in this area. You wont find a more honest repair shop, to the above 1 star review who questioned the cost of a LR brake caliper, there are full load calipers as well as unloaded calipers, and price differences between the two exist. One is a complete assembly the other is not, Im certain John the owner would have eased your perception with a simple explanation if given a chance.... Just saying!
