Hidden gem in the middle of Gruene, Texas. Ive been to Gruene 100x over and have never visited Gruene Lake Village until now. Theres a good amount of shops and a highly rated (so Ive been told) Cigar shop located here. The Gruene Door restaurant was a great restaurant with attentive service and a variety of unique food specialties. If youre looking to burn an afternoon or a place to take a lunch date or your new clients take them here.

I love the food here. It is not only healthy but the flavors are outstanding. They also make pressed Veggie drinks & smoothies. Their menu is on their website at Naturally Cafe. It is only open for lunch but well worth the drive or even being late for work after lunch. Many people eat there but it is well hidden. Dont be afraid to follow your GPS.

Generally good. They were out of some items so we made other choices that turned out well. Service was prompt. Looking forward to next time and hoping it to be a 5-star.

Awesome shops and shop owners as well as employees. Great area for some shopping, coffee or drinks, snacks and hanging out. The area is kept up very well and is always clean. Right before Gruene, Gruene Lake Village is in a great location and not too far from the rest of the Gruene area fun.

We visited Naturally Cafe. It was a cute, clean place with delicious eats & drinks. I tried many things because we shared. The veg. Humus wraps, sandwiches & smoothie s were.all lovely. Cant wait to come back.

I work for doordash and do pick up and delivery once in awhile for this place. I havent eaten here but I thought it was pretty okay when I went inside and picked up.

I didnt take any photos but I had a lovely cup of excellent coffee, better than Starbucks or Dunkin donuts, it had an amazing flavor there was no doubt that it was made from coffee beans. Unfortunately, I dont remember the name of the place. Anyway there is a vacation rental agency, a specialty popcorn shop, an art gallery but they were all closed (Friday at 10:00 am).

Oh the name of that coffee shop is Naturally Cafe. The cup of coffee was $2.50 but worth it. Plus I got a cup of real cream to add to it; not that white whatever it is that you get everywhere else. And you can sit outside and enjoy it.

So much fun shopping. Great wine options.

Good place to get away need more places to visit though, once you go to them all then not much else to.do unless watch live music

I do love this small village. Gruene river grill is a great place to get a vegetarian meal. Just ask your server for details. Also The Gristmill restaurant is the same & very helpful. Quaint shops are full of great buys.

Potbellys Popcorn is amazing! We got Chocolate covered strawberry and Smores - out of this world good. 🤤🤩

The shopping and dining are pristine. Go to Gruene Door for the best hummus ever! Or Lil Coonies to deck out your kiddos. So many shops and things to do.

I have been coming here for years! A very quiet and adorable place. It could really have a busy social atmosphere but the actual Gruene down the road attracts people away from this little village. But that also means that there is not to much traffic on the roads or sidewalks, which can be nice if you know about this secret little side area.There is some fun shops, and reliable businesses here, that a range of ages enjoy. Shopping, food, dance, yoga, bookshop, coffeshop, all differing from each other but all friendly and well kept. I recommend it. Its fun, its safe and just waiting for people to come in to enjoy what it has to offer.

I love Gruene Lake Village. Kora Kora Coffee Shop has the best homemade migas breakfast tacos and any type of coffee you can think of. The Village also host the annual art festival the last weekend in October. Theres also an outdoor fireplace between Kora Kora and two restaurants, along with nice, relaxing music. Just a great atmosphere.

Nice little area to walk around and browse. A few places to eat and drink. Sweet afternoon spot!

Serene

This is a very conveniently located center with a variety of shops for everyones taste. There are also a number of medical offices here. The traffic flow can become a challenge but there is plenty of parking in most areas and this is in close distance to other attractions and centers in town.

Awesome atmoshpere and shops

Went to a couple of the shops here but was absolutely delighted with what we saw! Childrens boutique is really cute & simple, Pokey Os was the highlight though! Very cute, homey atmosphere with a lovely lady named Connie assisting us.

This place is really good, they just need a better service time wise.

Great small shops, variety focused on womens clothing and kids alongside fine dinning and selective drink spots other surprises amongst them worth checking out.

I enjoyed visiting this historic town and its shops. Great too on the weekend when they had a market set up.

Last wkd.it was a Saturday morning right after we ate breakfast and we stop by the Popcorn store. Got to talking to two young ladies that worked in there. They asked what we like to sample first. After several of them, we decided to two different tins of different flavors for the both of us. We will definitely be back!!!

The Gruene Door restaurant to Kora Kora (coffee shop) to Allen Benjamins Salon & Spa to Gruene-Tinis (Martini Bar) and any other business located within Gruene Lake Village. Definitely top notch and very very clean everywhere in Gruene Lake Village. Highly recommended.
