Cute coffee shop, decent coffee and yummy kolaches and scones. Service was quick. Wish that the servers would wear masks though; however was fine for us since we just ordered to go.

Visiting from out of town. I can appreciate most of the changes the new management seems to have made aesthetically - its not your typical coffee shop: Bing Crosby singing Would You Like To Swing On A Star with gorgeous beach views projected on the white stucco-like walls, featuring shelves of plants and vines and antique typewriters and cameras alike. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff that deliver quick service and hand first time guests a fully clipped card to encourage you to return and claim that free coffee.The only piece missing that wouldve gotten to 5 stars for me is all the cozy seating has been removed, probably on purpose to discourage people who linger for hours at coffee shops.The LA Lavender was truly excellent. The medium brew hot coffee and cinnamon roll were pretty good.

So Ive been going here for about a year every single day some times twice a day for the most part coffee is strong and mostly good, however depending on who makes it, sometimes it taste a bit off on the days its a bit off we ask them to add to it since it doesnt taste right. customer service is not as great as what you would expect for a coffee house they get really upset when you let them know the coffee is a bit off almost as theyre offended instead of just remaking it with a smile especially because they see us there everyday they told us they cant be remaking our coffee or add ingredients to make it taste right without charging us for a new coffee, then when i spoke to manager she was kindof friendly yet still made it seem like it was our fault as if were the one who made the coffee. They have lost my business as of today and everyone i work with as well will not be coming here again as they have received rude comments as well. strong coffee but not about their customers AT ALL!!

Always THE BEST service & coffee! In all the many times I’ve been there, I’ve never encountered an unfriendly employee. Such a fun place with great aesthetic. My husband loves “The Dude” and I love your tea selection. Keep doing whatever you’re doing!

I go out of my way to grab coffee here. The espresso and coffee from a local roaster are delicious and I love that I can actually taste the coffee in my drinks. They can of course alter the drinks to your desire with different syrups and milk options. I also enjoy the baristas here, its a nice break to talk to some adults when Im with the kids all day. This was my first experience at 2rivers, and let me tell you I have never had such great and kind service in my life. Anna made my week, give this girl a raise! Also the drink was delicious. I will be becoming a regular just for her.

I don’t come here very often. A few times a month, and generally everything is fairly good. The people are friendly, the drinks are decent. Today, however, left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered a latte, as I do every time I come here. It’s never been an issue before and it’s been good. Today, I ordered the exact same thing I always do, and whoever took my order at the drive thru tried to talk me out of it. Gave me excuse after excuse and told me the way my drink would be made, would curdle it. Since the exact same drink has never curdled before, it’s unlikely. I know how my drink is made. It’s never been an issue before here or elsewhere. I even confirmed with my sister about this (as she is a supervisor for a coffee shop elsewhere), and she confirmed, unless there is something in there that isn’t supposed to be, it shouldn’t curdle. At all. Now, I don’t know if the person taking my order was new (which is fine, we all learn), or just didn’t want to make the drink to the modifications I asked for - which is not fine. It shouldn’t matter how I ask for it, as I am the one paying for it. The coffee today was, in fact, below par of what I know this place can do. It’s disappointing since I was talked out of what I originally wanted to a smaller modification. Will I come back? Sure. They’re just a small drive down the road, and it’s convenient, but I will absolutely be weary about ordering anything that requires a modification.

I had a cold brew here the other day and wow, so smooth and delicious! The people here are so unbelievably kind. I loved the plant life going on inside as well. Can’t wait to return!

Drove here for 30 minutes after seeing some cool pictures online. Was definitley worth the drive. Very cozy and beautiful, great for hanging out with friends and stuff.The person who got my order made my day by being genuinely kind. He gave me a punch card and punched everything so that I can get a free drink next time I visit since it was my first time here:)Definitely will be coming back.

2Rivers is my favorite place in New Braunfels, and it has a great environment to study/focus or just socialize with friends. I had a barista named Kendyl & she goes above and beyond for her customers! Enjoyed every bit of my experience. 10/10.

Lovely and cozy! I got the iced mint mocha and it was fantastic. It wasnt too sweet or overly minty, and the coffee wasnt overpowering as other coffee chains are. Just a nice enjoyable drink overall. Loved the atmosphere, easy to speak with friends, and very relaxing. 10/10 recommend!

I’ve been coming here for years and have always loved it, but recently they underwent a total remodel including new management and can I just say... it was probably the best thing to happen to 2Rivers Coffee. The place is pretty nice. Kind of granola, mid-century modern mix. A good variety of seating for small group lounging and other areas to set up shop and get some studying or work done.Vibe rating: 3.5Coffee is rough. They offer pour overs, drip, and espresso. They also roast in-house, but its just not good. I had the pour over, and multiple problems with that. They told me itll take 15 mins (luckily they give you a free topo while you wait)! Regardless, no pour over should take more than 7 mins when you include weighing, grinding, and heating the water. They also have no idea what recipes are when it comes to pour overs. Granted, its not among the most common coffee terms people use. But if youre making pour overs, you should know: how much water you use for blooming, and how many pours you use, etc.Coffee rating: 1

Nice place to have coffee! Its our 3rd time coming here and our coffee was better than the previous times. I asked 2% milk and my coffee came excellent! We got the caramel chocolate brownie for our kid and it was a very large piece, we shared! Happy to include this coffee place back to our list. Sunday around 1:00 pm wasnt crowded at all,we enjoyed our time here.

Use to be regulars, till one day we were pushed out for a womens bible study group by the owners. We were there first and had every right to be there. Weve never gone back since, Id highly recommend 2tarts over this place, better coffee and more hospital.

This place was amazing during the first years after opening and up to the last year or so, the quality has gone down. The bran muffins used to be really good but have been dry or overcooked lately I keep going back every so often because everyone has bad days, but just keep getting disappointed. The flavor is not the sane and just the other day, my coffee wasnt hot. Please, whatever you guys changed please change it back. This used to be my morning stop on my way to work

The only recent bad review I saw on here is from a lady who is employed by their competitor locally. That makes sad for her.We love it so much my daughter works there now! Cafe food and service here is excellent. visited fri evening i think. definitely worth a return visit. the place has a nice atmosphere. food is like a place in baltimore i loved.

Not only was the coffee divine, but the atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. The furniture was comfortable as well as plentiful. Fun fact: they had all sorts of fun games (like connect 4, tic-tac-toe, battle ships and several more) to play as you sip down that liquid happiness.

Do a recent change in routine, ive been picking up coffee at 2 Rivers weekday morning for the last two weeks. staff is unfriendly, especially the lady with the shaved head. she never says thank you and grunts the total that i owe. hostile and rude. would like for owners to reach out as a fellow business owner in New Braunfels I can tell you that poor customer service impacts your business.

Good cup of coffee, I dropped mine on the way out the door and they replaced it free of charge. Much respect for THAT level of service. Local artwork and artisan products for sale inside the store. Always a good visit here.

If youre on this side of town and needing coffee then check this place out. They have a nice seating arrangement with tables, chairs, couches and its usually pretty quiet and laid back. I alternate between here and one other coffeeshop on this side of town as its nice to have different options. Pricing is good and the quality is great!

I’m really disappointed and hurt. My father had been going to Two Rivers for about a year now as his 90 year old friend introduced the place to him, and he loves the coffee. No matter where he goes, he is the type of small town farm boy that says hello and how are you to everyone. That’s his personality, and today while he was drinking his favorite coffee minding his own business. The manager came over, and my dad thought he was going to greet him, but instead asked him to leave and that he made people feel uncomfortable. It broke my dad’s heart, and as his daughter I know he’s not perfect, but my dad cares about everyone and I wish he got at least a better explanation other than some flaw in his personality. He had always felt welcomed and never knew if he somehow offended someone from saying hello or wanting to have casual small talk.He tried to call, but ended up having nothing but false accusations thrown at him.
