I’ve never had any issues with my eyesight until recently. My insurance carrier recommended Eye Care New Braunfels which led me to Dr. Reynolds. Since this being my first experience he and his staff welcomed me from the first call. I was educated on my issue with eyesight and know how to prevent future problems. I needed to get my eyes checked because recently I have had trouble seeing things from a distance. Ive never had an eye exam before and my girlfriend referred me to this office. My daughter was also due for an eye exam and decided we could get hers done at the same time. Even though we live in San Antonio my girlfriend recommended us to this office and said we wouldnt be disappointed. We were greeted by the friendly staff as we checked in and already could tell that they value the customer experience and made us feel welcome. My daughter and I were both seen by Dr. Reynolds and were blown away by his professionalism. He explained everything thoroughly to us both and answered every question we had. Next, it was time to pick out our glasses. My daughter has worn glasses since she was very young but I never had to need glasses until now. It was intimidating to see such a large collection of glasses but an optician named Andrea assisted me in picking out a pair of glasses that fit well and look great. All in all it was a pleasurable experience and I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great eye doctor.

I had my first eye exam at Eye Care New Braunfels in 2019. Dr. Lozano was very nice and personable. She spent a little time getting to know before giving a very thorough exam. Afterwards I got to pick out a pair of glasses from a great selection of both designer brands and more cost conscious brands. The opticians up front guided me to what I was looking for gave me their opinions and advice and they hyped me up when I found a pair I really liked. I felt so comfortable after leaving that I came back in 2021 for another exam, where I had a very similar experience. Great place and great team working there! Highly recommend!

I had noticed I was having a vision change and made an eye exam with Dr. Reynolds. Wow...he showed me photos of my retina and let me know how my overall eye health was. I also was informed I was wearing the wrong glasses prescription that was causing my blurred vision. Dr. Reynolds is very thorough and friendly as can be. If you need a goodeye doctor go somewhere else but if you want a GREAT eye doctor please see Dr. Reynolds!! If I could give him a 10 stars I would! Thanks Eyecare New Braunfels!!

Beautiful office! Everything is clean and well taken care of. Dr. Lozano is so sweet and takes her time with the exam. Ive had many doctors rush through exams and get my RX wrong. At my last visit she even took the time to make sure Id be able to see well with my new prescription. She answers all my questions and concerns. Communication with front desk was a breeze and everyone was friendly. 10/10 recommend.

I definitely cannot recommend this place I went there to get a window tint exemption due to the sensitivity of light to my eyes driving ! I was told I had to have an exam so I did and as I was finishing the exam Dr. Lozano asked if I had vouchers for her to fill out I did not so she said she’d find out on them, after days have gone by no response I call I’m told that she would not give me one when that day I presented her with the correct Texas form from the DMV to sign !Her email to me basically said she is not gonna give it to me dosent see any issues of light problems that I should wear sunglasses or a hat ! Well Dr. Lozano has not suffered for 35 years with this problem as I have nor had the very painful migraines I get from it ! It’s a problem I’ve had my whole life and I cannot wear sunglasses they mess with my eyes and cause pressure on my head and temples stirring migraines ! so the money i paid for this exam to get thos exemption signed was for nothing but to line her pockets ! There is no need for the email i received from her ! It waa absoutly very unproffessional so folks be warned and caution on going here youll be paying for things you honestly dont need !

Staff is amazingly sweet and so helpful!! We saw Dr. Reynolds and he was so good with my son and I for our vision. I would give them and extra 5 stars!

Summary: Dont buy your glasses from hereI ordered new glasses from here on Dec 10th. I didnt receive them until Feb 2nd after being given a one week initial estimate. The process was extremely frustrating start to finish. I was consistently told one more week and one more week and next Tuesday at the latest then early next week for sure. I understand that sometimes delays are unavoidable, but this was above and beyond. I was rarely contacted during the process (instead I had to regularly call to ask about my glasses and kept being given estimates that were clearly untrue). The store never offered me any discounts or alternatives for my trouble until, at 7 weeks, I finally came to the store asking for a complete refund so that I could go elsewhere. I was told that it was not possible but I was given a small discount on the initial price and the glasses ended up coming the next week.The bottom line is that no one should have to continually fight with a store in order to receive a product they paid for. The store should have been in better contact with me throughout the process and given me good reasons for the delays, they should have offered concessions when they were clearly unable to meet even the most lenient of time frames that they promised; These are the basics of good customer service, especially on a product costing hundreds of dollars. Instead, getting a pair of glasses became a part-time job for me and I still dont feel good about the process.

Wander experience with this office. Theyre kind, understanding and very cheerful. I was enjoyed my visit and the exam was easy because the ophthalmologists was explained everything. Will recommend to my friends.

So many good things to say about this place. This was my first trip to an optometrist, I had a piece of metal stuck in my eye. The service was quick and easy, the staff and doctor lozano were extremely personable and professional and had me in and out in less than 45 minutes. My wife who does need glasses said that she will be going here from now on and I will go back for any other eye problems that arise.

This new eye care facility is beautiful! Dr. Lozano and Dr. Reynolds are both knowledgeable and personable. As with any medical condition or circumstance, the ability to communicate problems and solutions to patients is of the utmost importance. Whatever the case may be, I trust them with my eyes!
