Great coffee, great staff! Baked goods were so fresh and delicious. Plenty of seating inside, and a few tables outside. They do have a drive thru, but did not test out. Plenty of parking. Go local, give them a try for your coffee fix!

I love Bru House! The drive thru is super convenient and fast. Their coffee and food are really good!! I got a sugar free vanilla latte which was good. The scones were amazing—fresh and soft. I also got a veggie frittata and it was so good. Also, the two employees I interacted with were so friendly.

This is a lovely and quite place with simple menu. The staff is very friendly. The ambience is nice and definitely a place to either hangout with friends, works or just be with yourself.

Decided to give this local place a try. Very nice on the inside and a nice patio area. The coffee was very good. I ordered a muffin that was so dry that even my dog didnt want it! The guy at the register was so rude and unfriendly. If you are not a morning person, find a night job.

Wonderful staff and atmosphere. I work from home and like being able to take my “work” out to a coffee shop for a few hours. This place was perfect for that and I didn’t feel rushed to leave or anything. I had a wonderful chai and a mocha, both worth having again.

This is a great place to grab some coffee and lunch. Coffee was great. Lunch soup and sandwich combo was very generous. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the space itself was clean and relaxing. Definitely will be back!

I come here all the time as it is close to my house. Their turkey provolone on cranberry wheat is the perfect sandwich! I crave this on the regular! Also their dirty chai latte with almond milk is spot on! They have a younger staff and all the workers I have encountered are super pleasant to deal with! Always a wonderful experience!

Drive thru is great. Highly highly recommend the white mocha and scones. Definitely worth the money every time!

Glad I came to Bru instead of Starbucks. The noise level is like night and day. I can hear myself think. I can leisurely enjoy my breakfast. I can actually read or study. I can have a conversation with someone without shouting. I can start my day without the harried frenzy that greets me whenever I open the door at Starbucks. Its like an oasis of calm at Bru.The bacon frittata was delicious as was the spiced apple cider. 10/10 recommend.

It was me and my boyfriends first time here. We came for a quick bite and two drinks. The barista was very friendly and the bacon egg and cheese English muffin was phenomenal! We will definitely be back if we are in the area.

My favorite coffee shop in Minnesota.Great tasting lattes and mochas. I prefer their coffee over Caribou and Starbucks. If youre staying in, then order it in a glass mug. The coffee tastes so much better that way.During the summer months they have freshly squeezed lemonade, limited outdoor seating and other drinks to order.Their breakfast selections include eggs, bacon, tortillas and bagels.Their lunch menu is soup and sandwiches. Ive never had meal there I didnt like. The food here is fresh and full of flavor (nothing is pre-prepared). They will bring the food out to your table also (your coffee too if it isnt too busy).Get a table early if youre meeting someone around 9 am or for lunch - they fill up. Afternoons are generally less busy.Plenty of parking, reliable wifi and friendly staff.

They ran out of drip brew (house blend) and offered to top it off with decaf or french roast (when I wanted house blend.) they eventually offered to brew some more; however, when I did get my coffee, it was very watery—no body or flavor whatsoever. :-/

Love this local place. Great selection of food and drinks. Good wifi and friendly staff. Wish they had a few more milk alternatives though, soy is about as bad for you as smoking, coconut or oat maybe? Ill stay a customer regardless, just an idea!

I’m sad with this review but I feel it needs to be presented. I order from this place a couple times a week. I’m so disappointed in the portions for th cost, as well with the cucumbers as they taste as thou they are never washed.And if you are not known as a “regular” you wait much longer. I had a “regular” that ordered after me and he was served before I was. We had the same type of order. Super cute little spot, but very disappointing. Hope things change!

Great place to meet up and have a good cup of coffee. Staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. Overall clean and well kept. Was able to carry on a conversation without too much noise. The table didnt rock and chair was comfortable enough. Lighting and room temp was great. Refills cost me a little extra. I expect free of charge on coffee. Overall Id return to try other drinks and food items offered. Parking within a few steps from front entrance.

Wonderful staff that helped me a non avid coffee drinker find a wonderful drink. I often make morning coffee runs and the workers are always in the best mood. It is infectious and sets me up for a great day!

Its a very small place for a coffee shop which Im not surprised. Its very hard to notice but, the place feels very welcoming. I tried their signature drink the strawberry mocha. At first I taste the mocha but, then later I tasted the strawberry. Which was fine to me. It mixed the 2 flavor well but, wish there was more strawberry falvor. Its a nice place to study and grab a sandwich if you get hungry studying. Id recommend this for studying and catching up with friends and family.

Typically use the drive through on the way to work. Friendly and quick staff. The quality of the espresso beans are perfect, meaning no bitterness their iced americano. Fruit cups and veggie fritatas fresh and consistently good.

I have a very specific espresso drink that I order. This was my first time here and I will be back many more. They made my drink perfectly! I mean absolutely perfect! It was very smooth; not burnt or bitter. Plus their customer service was great. Theyre very friendly and quick!

First time there today! Guy who made my ice mocha was good. I am though disappointed in whoever made my egg/sausage tortillas bf sandwich. The sausage pattie was overly cook. It was hard and dry and the cheese was cold. If I wasn’t in a hurry I would of brought it back instead I just tossed it since it wasn’t edible. :( would go back for the coffee though.

Great little local coffee shop with fresh baked goodies in the mornings. I am personally a big fan of the muffins and apple fritters! It’s especially great to have a locally owned coffee shop in the New Brighton where not everything is within walking distance. Lucky for my family it’s close by! 👍🏻

Wonderful place to meet a friend for coffee or lunch. Staff are friendly, and they have the BEST turkey cucumber sandwich around! I visited this location on 12/23/2026 at about 9 ish. First time even though its right by my house. Fabulous young lady asked what she could get for me, I responded give something good in a size large and surprise me. I received one of the best Mochas I have ever tasted. I hope she remembers me because I dont know what Mocha was made.I gave it 4 stars only because they dont open until 7am and I work in St Paul at 7:30, cutting it too close. Add another 1/2 hour earlier and it would have been 5 stars and then some! 👍

What a great little coffee spot! Came here to get some work done and I was greeted with friendly staff, delicious coffee and a clean workspace. They also had a killer playlist going on! I didnt even need my headphones.

Super friendly staff; especially a girl named Damianna. The chicken wild rice soup is absolutely to die for. Creamy, full of chicken, and possibly the best Ive ever had. The Italian pops are very very good as well.

I like the seating - the chairs and tables are just what I want to get some work done. Like the music selection they played - also like that the volume was low enough that it didnt interfere if I needed to listen to something on my headphones. Staff was quite friendly and the bathroom was very clean!

Just stopped by after getting my hair cut at Trinity Hair Salon and the gals there were so helpful with recommendations. I got the black ice tea with lavender and loved it! The veggie wrap was good to. I will definitely visit again.

This is such a gem of a place!! We recently moved to New Brighton and I was thrilled to find Bru House. They are fantastic and have delicious coffee and food. I have tried the white mocha, iced and hot- both amazing, and I also tried their egg frittata muffin, which was scrumptious. I highly highly recommend this place. They have always been friendly and welcoming and I just love supporting a local family-owned business.

Grew up just down the block. Solid coffee, friendly staff, welcoming and quiet environment. And, of course, WiFi. Great place to go if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle that can plague the bigger chain coffee shops.Oh, and the Chicken Salad Sandwich is absolutely amazing.

Love it, owners are very friendly and always make you feel very welcome. They love kids and encourage you to bring your kids with, the noise of a child does not bother them, instead they would come up and start conversation with a child. All employees are the same as owners, very nice and friendly. Highly recommend this coffee shop

Seriously, Ive been going in there periodically since they opened 20 some years ago. Although I dont concider myself a regular customer the times I have been there has alway been positive. Good food, friendly staff and of course award winning coffee drinks. Highly recommend.

My favorite coffee shop, bar none: great coffee, good food (soup-and-sandwich fare, well prepared). The decor is clean and comfortable, and the staff is pleasant and friendly. The Saturday morning regulars can get a bit noisy; but otherwise, its a great place to relax and read for an hour or two... or just grab a cup for the road....

The owner is a horrible person... She asks us to move as soon as we get settled with our work and using our computers. Then she asks us to go to the bar. Hell with this place. The last time I was here, I paid for a coffee and a hot chocolate. I get the coffee, I am standing their while no one realizes 15 minutes later they forgot the hot chocolate. I just walk out. Horrible place. And they are definelty racists!
