Very disappointed experience yesterday for me with the billing woman who don’t have patience even JUST for 45 seconds to a minute. It was not busy . 3 counters were open and only 3 people were standing for billing . My bad day made me go to her for billing .She treated me ( her customer ) like a stupid . The only store I regularly shop is Jc penny East Brunswick but yesterday I ended up with a very bad experience and she ruined my whole day with her attitude .Owner or manager please help these kind of employees to learn the positive manners . Please tell them to treat their customers kindly or gently.

The products in the store are well displayed and easy to find what you are looking for. The associates were helpful and appreciative of customers. We found everything we wanted at discounted prices. Will definitely be going back for summer clothing for my family.

Great selection of clothes but I brought my mom for plus size clothing and I found out that there is no longer a plus size area. It makes looking for clothing very hard.

I loved my photographer! She was very engaging and was able to get my 2.5 yr old to cooperate [usually doesnt happen]. She also helped me to choose a background appropriate for the occasion and our color scheme. Pictures came out so nice.

Prices are always good at JC Penney. But as you walk in to this particular store, it feels like the store is in its death bed.... There is no life/activity around there... Staff is friendly most of the time..... I do not know what else to say!

The store is very neat and well organized. The staff are very courteous. The clothing and linens are of good to excellent quality and prices are reasonable. I was able to take advantage of some great clothing and linens bargains!

Was outside of here in the mall with my small business CandlesNCurios. We will be back again the week before Christmas to sell more items.

The store is well kept, very clean and everyone was very polite. There is help everywhere you turn and the people actually listen to what you are asking for. The fitting rooms are very clean and empty so getting in and out was a breeze. The sale signs are very obvious and dont fear asking questions everyone is willing to help.

My mom was looking for Alfred Dunner and we found the selection quite sparse. She wanted more options so I asked (at the sales desk) where the womens dept. was. I was told that they arrange their merchandise by brand not by size. How frustrating having to look through misses and juniors to find a 16W. Not to mention, the shopping bags and carts were by the sales desk half way through the store not by the entrance. Who needs a cart when youre already at the sales desk? My mom is 83 and tires easily so this is no longer the store for us.

Lots of sales on 12/15/18. Lots of cashiers to collect your money. Not too much floor help. I had to search for someone to help me with comforters and pans. Also they took all of the Price Check Kiosks off the floor. So if the sale sign doesnt include your item, good luck finding out what the price is. I lucked out with someone from curtains who checked some prices for me and then rang me up. No line! Extremely nice sales help. One shirt I bought didnt have a price tag. This nice lady went downstairs to the Mens Dept.; found the shirt and wrote the number down, then came back upstairs to complete my order. She said that was faster than calling for help! Nice helpful Christmas spirit.🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄

Good selection of quality products. I also found the floor plan/product layout to be more logical than at some of their competition. The employees I encountered were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was not enough cashiers to provide quick checkout service. The store has improved a lot in the last 12 months.

The woman at the jewelry counter was very helpful. I think her name was Iala or something like that. She helped me pick out two watches and then gave me a discount for opening up a JCPenney credit card she picked out two nice watches and I saved a lot of money

Great place for dress shirtsLarge chains shouldn’t be reviewed here on Google. The reviews don’t really give an accurate overall picture like they would for a smaller business because they employ so many people; however, some locations are better than others when the chain is a smaller one.

Had photo appointment for 215. Showed up at 200 and they said they were backlogged and would get to us at 230. We didnt get called until almost 300 and during all that time no one bothered to update us. When we finally got called, they didnt even apologize for keeping us waiting 40 minutes past our appointment time. We were getting pictures with our one-year-old and by the time we got seen, he was very cranky and the pictures were not what we had hoped for. When the time came to review the pictures, they just pointed is to a computer and told is to let them know when we were done. Weve done this before and the photographer usually reviews the photos with us and will give us ideas for borders, backgrounds, etc. Find somewhere to get your pictures where youll be treated like a valued customer.UPDATE: They posted our photos so we could download and had some other kids info attached to my son. For example, around the border, it had another childs name, said something about a 2nd birthday and had other info that wasnt for my son.

Restroom was messy, didnt shop due to car issues.

JC Penney used to be my go to store before the Target guy took over. I still shop there, but its definitely not what it used to be. I wish theyd bring back their furniture department. Associates are very nice, but the store looks dead half the time. And please for the love of God, turn up the air condition. Its like a hot box in the store. Very uncomfortable!

JC Penney is a large fine store, carries a large supply of clothes, shoes and some househould items, the best time to shop is when they have those wonderful sales with great cheap prices, the service is fantastic,, plenty of parking, stay away from opening a JcPenny credit card

Love Pennys getting more clothes that are not made out of polyester which a lot of women I dont know about men can not wear because of heat issues makes you sweat like crazy. How is the clothing thats made of polyester is beautiful just cant wear it.

Pretty good. This place is busy in late afternoon, evenings. Been able to find larger sizes shoes like size 11 here and 11 wide in multiple styles of shows. Wait time for lines can be very long.

Found 2 beautiful dresses, got both, cashier was so helpful, she show me how to safe some money on my purchase, had to go back next day, one of the dresses had the security tag still on it 😆😆😆, no big deal cashier call me right away and removed it

This chain of stores has many different departments to shop from, including, adult and childrens clothing, bedding, small and large appliances, mattresses, window dressings, jewelry and more. Online orders can be placed and picked up at the store or delivered to your home. Store is better kept than some competitors. They have elevators and an escalator.

I am going to a few Holiday get togethers, and wanted new dress pants, and shirts. I went to Brunswick Square Mall. 1st park in front of store, you can always park. 2nd shirts in every color of the rainbow. In every size. In perfect order. No searching for mixed colors or sizes. Next pants, well to my surprise just about the same thing, many different colors and shades, in order on separate racks with matching sports jackets in case you want to make it a suit. Well I said now look for a register. Found one, three people in front of me to check out, no problem the cashier saw the line was getting long, 3 people, called for assistance and they opened a second register. Now everything I bought was 40 or 50% off. My question is Why are they CLOSING. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL.

Even your employees or even the employees the ones that weve encountered are feeling miserable there hot its humid in the store its more pleasant outside than it is in a store It was EXTREMELY warm and humid inside of the store. It was the same thing last week when my wife and I went, it WAS and IS a VERY UNPLEASANT shopping experience its hot in the store I wish someone whoever is in charge of the HV AC system or whoever it is that decides when the air conditioning goes on I wish they would turn it on because WE ARE NOT going back to the store until the air is on.Its humid in there makes it very uncomfortable and sweating inside of a store IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TURN THE AIR CONDITIONING ON ALREADY!!

I ordered something online, but they cancelled all my orders. So I called the customer services, a lady helped me order something. Later, I found the order was cancelled again. So I placed orders online again. Next morning, I found all orders were cancelled. I called the customer service, before my complain didn’t get fixed, they hung up my phone call. This is a store I experienced the worst service.

JCPenny Portraits- Tina was friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. The Groupon I used definitely eased the sticker shock if the final price, but given the quality of service I received I wouldnt have mind paying full price. We didnt wait too long to get started, and she let us take many more shots than normally done.

I’m an Indian so my parents are out in line for the Black Friday sale bc of the coupons and my friends go and their three year old child gets a coupon but my twelve year old brother does not that’s stupid they say no kids now get out of here that service is stupid. This JCPenny is one of the best ones. The store manager and the associates are very nice and helpful. It is well organized. The prices are good especially if you have a coupon. Sephora is there. There are a lot of clothes for women, men and kids. There are a lot of home items. There are shoes, watches, etc. There are good brands like Nike, polo RL, etc. I like that branch a lot.

Use to shop here all the time and the customer service used to be great, this last time the associate gave us trouble about our our JCP Credit card, it wasnt as much of what she was saying but her demeanor, she was rude. Never had a bad experience before this and will steer clear of this associate.

Short on staff and those there are focused on being overworked. People who go there disgrace themselves leaving some displays in disastrous conditions
