Half the pumps were out of order, the other 3 I tried had broken buttons and chip readers so it wouldn’t take my card. I left and went to a different gas station.

Hy-Vee only gets a 4-star rating today and that will probably be the highest they will be able to achieve from now on. The loss of one star is due to the $85.00 extra hold they want to place on your debit card in addition to the purchase price of the gasoline you buy. An example is: you purchase $50 in gas, Hy-Vee charges your card $135. Thats a hold on $85 of your money that you no longer have access to. Hy-Vee says your financial institution can release the hold or will eventually. A person should not have to make the extra effort to get their own money back for something they didnt spend it on. I use a credit card for gas so this isnt an issue for me personally but I certainly can see where this could cause a lot of financial problems for a lot of people. Hy-Vee, normally you are on top of things with customer service, but you got this one wrong.

Went in 2 weeks ago and the FuelSaver program didnt work at the pump, and the attendant inside didnt seem knowledgeable on how to apply the discount. Whatever though, I guessed at the gallons and wondered why she was doing math by hand, but it worked out.Two weeks later today, with -20 windchill, the tap to pay rejected my card or more than likely isnt setup correctly, then after minutes standing out there the FuelSaver still didnt work.This isnt the late 1990s. Taking cards at the pump is common. Likewise perk programs arent new and have been around for a while.Why HyVee cant figure this out, or be bothered enough to post signs saying as much is beyond me.

Good looking gas station and choices just need a little better customer experience as I checked out, worker didn’t say “hey” or “how’s it going” just a cold face but I get it maybe wasn’t there day......

Wish you had a car wash as this location is far more convenient for me than Brooklyn Park. I love your coffee and bacon croissant breakfast sandwiches. You also have a nice wide variety of beverages that other convenience stores dont have.

Nice place but only prepay inside or pay at pump, not to convient if you want purchase items inside. They dont have a latte coffee machine which they need!

Prices are competitive. Usually only get gas here when I have fuel perks to use. Very inconvenient place if you dont have a CC or debit card. All pumps are prepay. Only gas station in New Hope that has all prepay pumps.

New station with 12 gas pumps. Inside sells items you expect to find in a gas station. The fuel savers card can be very nice.
