Definitely not the most modern updated supermarket but the price of meats here are very reasonable. The quality of the steaks I have purchased here rivals Costco (not prime) steaks. The meats were always fresh. The produce is fairly priced also.

There is alot of good ratings here but I unfortunately did not experience a good shopping experience here ..first we are all in a pandemic right now there was a old lady I guess 80ish not wearing a mask ...then as I viewed the produce isle it wasnt that well kept. The meat section didnt have name brand viarty...really expensive meat ...then as you approach register there is a plastic plexi glass protecting the workers. ..they Do NOT LOOK WIPED DOWN AT ALL neither does the scan machine for the cards and the girl had an attitude about it To even clean it ...NOT sorry if customers want to be clean and safe !!!..WONT be returning here

Best is best for a reason. This supermarket is one our favorites in the neighborhood. Great weekly specials, strong deli, great choices on meat and fish make it a go to supermarket on a weekly basis. Join their email club and you get $10 off coupons sent to you frequently which is always a plus.

Small and friendly. But ailes to small to keep 6 feet apart. Outside parking lot had terrible oder. Dont know where it came from.Miss my Syosset Best Market.

Conveniently located and parking is ample. The place is clean. The staff however need some customer service classes. The folks at the register minus a few are always unfriendly. There is hardly anyone on the floor helping customers especially those of us floundering at the aisles. I am not sure if mask guidelines are enforced.......

Usually shop here for whole grain pasta and Paulana sugar free jams, lowest prices in the area. The fruit section appears fresh, deli counter has all the usual selection. There is a bread section in the rear of the store with a variety of rolls and wheat crusted loaves. Keep an eye on this spot on Hillside Ave as they Best chain stores were bought out recently by a German grocery chain and it will be interesting to see what develops. Ive read that the new store will have less selection (no deli section) and specialize in generic brand goods. Parking outside the store but can be crowded during peak hours, best early in the day.

You do not need to go to flushing anymore! This place has everything. There is a pretty decent food court too.

The products were good and decently priced. Everything was stocked and ready for the holiday. My one complaint is that 2 out of 3 employees I interacted with were not friendly at all. The bakery guy was nice, but the cashier and the cart guy need to learn to at least greet customers! Jeez, thats not too much to ask and is basic good customer service. These places in NY need to focus more on customer service and friendliness of their staff. Smh

I like shopping at the Best Market supermarket in East Meadow because its the cleanest one. The fruits and bake goods are fresh and better than most supermarkets. Plus, its next to the really big Stew Leonards supermarket which is also one of my favorite places to do food shopping.

The store has the most accommodating and helpful staff who are glad to help without an attitude like in stop n shop or key food. They are the two worst for customer service. The Best Market staff should teach a class in customer service to everyone.

Took me all summer, but I finally got around to trekking out to Corona for some Ice King.The lemon is superb, very light, not too sweet or tangy, but still lets you know that its lemon and not artificial.Ive also tried Mango and the Orange-Vanilla, both very good, but Lemon (as it says in the name) is definitely king here.

The vegetables are not fresh at all. Found insects in the broccoli.

Shop there once,will never go into this dark and dingy location to shop again,compared to the Best market on Dogwood Ave. which is bright and fully stocked.

I was very pleased with my shopping experience at Best Yet in New Hyde Park. Excellent produce and meats along with great sales. Clean and well stocked shelves. Professional staff and easy to check out. I will recommend this store.

The bathroom in this store is always clean, which I can appreciate in a pinch. The produce is picture perfect and the deli has sharp and regular provolone, which satisfies. Lots of bakery fresh items too. And when they have a sale on chicken - their prices cant me beat. The aisle and service are too tier every single time too.

Totally understaffed for holiday rush. Over 45 minutes to check out and sale items from 1st day of sale out of stock. Need to manage better as there are nearby alternatives

This store has been my primary supermarket for a long time. Everyone that works here has been attentive and helpful. Today, I was aimlessly looking through the meat section for fresh pre-made beef patties. There were packages of 3 but I needed a tall order of 20. While busy with restocking the section, Juan stopped everything he was doing and asked what I needed. I gave him my pain of an order and he said “I’m here for whatever you need. It’s notproblem to me.” Customer service like that is what keeps the customer coming back. Usually shoppers would look around, see that something wasn’t available and just continue shopping. Juan knew I was lost and proactively helped me and saved the BBQ (even though it’s 45 degrees outside). Thank you, Juan

WARNING - DO NOT SHOP AT BEST MARKET NHP!!!!! I have shopped at Best for over 10 years and up until recently they were great! In the past month, there is less and less variety, then vegetables going bad on the shelves. But the worst was last week when I made the mistake of having my groceries delivered and was brought ROTTING CHICKEN. I wasnt even sure who to be madder at the store (the once amazing and pristine Best) or the Instacart driver who actually bough it! All I know is it took days to get that smell out of my house and I had rewash my floors.Well I have learned my lesson and shame on me for going back after seeing the veggies on the shelf getting moldy. They no longer care about the product being sold to us, so why should we care if the store is closing,? It may cost a lot more but I will shopping at Fairway from now on.

The register lines are always so long, today and every time I go. The express lane is a joke. Good news is the food selection is tops, but paying and getting out is enough to send me to another store.

As a senior citizen their senior policy had kept changing to the point you actually had to bring your coupon in from circulars delivered to your door but not available in the store. Most now shop at the new Shoprite for a much better experience.
